A massive disaster! Obviously, this time on all floors built-even on the rooms layers of dust, wherever you look! In the bathroom no toilet brush the fan was broken-to air one must the windows in the room open. In the television two channels in german, but pay tv. The hotel is by bus 21 directly from the train station or by tram 9 to the dam, further in the 14. Hotel lies in the Arab quarter. 'blue tower' is surrounded from a shopping center (70 years), daily is on a platform fruit-, vegetables- and fish market. We had a corner room on the 5. Obergeschoss, very big with two separate beds. Room and bathroom were all around with blue Spiegelfenstern framed. Furniture has gotten a bit old. Safe and mini bar were not available. Breakfast was all right. The hotel bar was a disaster - Kir Royal with ... much Cassis and water made, caipirinha was not much better. - would nevertheless come again. read more

We ended up stranded in the blue tower hotel, as the actually booked hotel Casa 400 abruptly was fully booked. Our discontent with this supposed 4 star alternative not better.
The blue tower hotel lies in the middle of a former Eastern Bloc housing estate, back-A supermarket and with a bit of luck receives one a room the view of the next to it, this multi-lane highway reveals. The good connection to public transport you can not deny, a few minutes walk and you reach tram and bus. An advantage is also the favorable parking space in the supermarket private ... parking garage.
Our room was to and for itself large enough, merely the couple Inches between the bed and the Bureau requested a Vorfahrtenregelung to the closet or the bathroom to arrive. The bathroom itself was OK, except for the mold on the joints. The rest of the cleanliness we now have not specifically want to prove and was thus at least apparently OK.
As furniture were partly scratched, who dark veneer gmaw, finds it perhaps even nice. The mattresses were however an absolute no-go. Both were extremely soft and I rolled you involuntarily towards the outside. I could be on my soft 90 kilogram affiliate, but my wife with their 56 kilogram it was also not better. So, twice 4 stars back pain included.
The breakfast was okay, repeated on 2. Tag, you can however also not really expect a lot. If the tables with chairs are occupied, one finds space on couch and armchairs, in which you on short way the breakfast right from the plate in the mouth push can. The crew at the times day was just overburdened. They came neither with food, nor with fresh cutlery and dishes. After endless apparent time then also the button for the air conditioning found.
This is the first time, that I am a review enrapture left. Universal said we expect more from a all hotel, in particular, with a with 4 stars.
The blue tower in other no beautiful but remaining impression left we then also in the other reviews read. Surprisingly was in a direct comparison the blue tower cheaper than from us originally booked and with only 3 stars designated Casa 400. Die difference we have in the meantime removed.
There are certainly worse hotels than the blue tower, we would recommend it if avoidable but not book again. read more

Good and pleasant hotel with delicious breakfast in the conservatory ( local selection of bread, fresh aufgeschnitte (R ) cold cuts, Bake and cheese, very good coffee).
In front of the hotel there are many parking spaces, the on Sundays and vacation days can be used free of charge. Directly next to the hotel, there is a garage with Spezialservice: Parkhauskarte in the entrance drag, car parking, to the switch and the staff submit. One keeps then per person a and Rückfahrtticket to the center. Definitely in the tram or in the bus a-and check out (it stops the ticket ... to a furthermore, until it beeps). Again back to the parking garage at the switch again. There will be checked, whether the tickets properly used. Is that the case gets you for everything altogether only 8, -EURO. We were as a couple and for 24 hours parking including trip back and forth to the center only these 8, -EURO paid. read more

No four star hotel.
Funky odor in the entire hotel, dirty lifts, desolates furniture, very dirty carpet, dirty walls, air conditioning could not be issued and the whole night ranted, no toilet brush. For a family in absolutely no way recommendable. read more

I have 2 nights in January in the hotel stay. I had a room on the ninth floor with a magnificent view. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner in the restaurant excellent. The restaurant asian kitchen. The service was fantastic. I will in any case stay here. read more

initially one should say, that we our trip over'Groupon' booked have, so was the price Line Verhältnbis more than good! The room was very clean, with a beautiful Prospect (also glazed windows in the bathroom). Every day was the room and the towels as well as the rooms gereining. (wherein the environment into consideration taken to, by only towels on the ground be changed, what a nice idea is). The ambience matched the pictures and the atmosphere is nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and with fresh orange juice, great coffee, quite a ... good selection of sausage and cheese, eggs with bacon and so on absolutely sufficient. Furthermore in hotel are restaurant serves, the really nice.
the hotel itself is nearby of Amsterdam, so you the center in about 15 minutes by bus good and could be reached quickly.
small Cons: there are no choice wellness or fitness area, no choice safe and no choice suitable parking ( therefor park-and-ride right next door). read more

Therefore not just wandering working, the first impression of the hotel, in the hotel lounge, was more like positive the restaurant (in the breakfast is) is also very well equipped. The park & ride right next to the hotel is a good opportunity in order to park, but also, with the train to the center to come, since the parking tickets for the tram costs are. Breakfast very poor-like a hostel, the room (whole hotel) dirty, broken shower, and so on were not there to watch tv in the city, but in the evening for easing we could have stayed more than two German channels (ARD & ZDF) had. Definitely not 4 * E-maximum 2! Never again! read more

Location is a bit outside of the city center, but with the public means of transportation to reach. Bus line 21 from central train station from, stop bos en Lommerplain. read more

The hotel has its big advantage of the good location and very good in amsterdam traffic connections.
The rates are clearly überteuerert. We stayed in the eleven floor under the roof. Was probably later cultivated. The rooms were hot and the a/c did not work. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate, was very expensive and absolutely not to be recommended. We preferred in one of the numerous coffee in the city to have breakfast. read more

The transport connections to the highway is good as the motorway A 10 is situated next to the hotel. Around the hotel fills up with shopping centers and various shops. The city center was very good. Otherwise typical suburb, with multi- multicultural/flair. Parking garage is convenient, but after P + R ask what we unfortunately forgot. The rooms were not as can be insignificant, like as usual at the hotel. Air-conditioning is more mediocre. The breakfast buffet was ok. But other than that everything on the tables and dingy, dishes and staff not cleared from the Vorgängeressen it seemed to ... be too much and don't come to fell. The front desk staff is not very informative and not german speaking. Tips for parking, etc. and other comments only to ask a clue where someone at all. All i can say is do not hesitate to recommend it. Deserves the 4 stars, so I am sorry. read more

We had our room in our fifth floor and yes if you out of the elevator up, then comes a weird smell, that has bad odor in an uncool. The room was quite okay to sleep there was enough space. The air conditioning worked, we tried the even though we didn't need. Window we could be sorry. The bathroom was alright, so far clean. The hair dryer did quickly gave up its spirit good I its own at. -) Breakfast was pretty good, lots to choose from. I think you should not always so far up your demands screws, each ... country is so different: -) We were lucky, we had nothing to complain about. Even the woman at the front desk was very friendly. You can park in the garage below, we stayed 3 nights at the 25€ paid. You can even shopping, since it was situated directly at the garage 2 stores. Unfortunately you can't eat nearby, we had one evening which KFC in/out privileges, not recommended Very greasy: -) and to the Japanese we did not want to because you only buffet. You can get to the city with the bus. The tram to the Heineken Brewery stops directly across the street, at the stop where the bus goes into town. The hotel is highly recommended, but the next time we take a downtown hotel, because we then closer to the nightlife are: ) read more
