Overall, we had an excellent vacation.
The hotel, the service and the food were excellent.
Every day there was varied selection at the buffet and in the à la carte restaurants.
The offered drinks was also very good, you could really good cocktails drink and also the selection was very big. Thanks to the extensive all-inclusive package it has a not lacking for much of anything.
The service was super and the mexican are very accommodating and friendly. Everything has been done to make you feel comfortable.
In the hotel itself, there were lots of different activities, the free could ... take advantage of (like for instance kayaking, Tennis, table tennis, billiards, catamaran ride or a taster course in diving with the bottle).
In puerto aventuras itself, are some bars and shopping possibilities. However, if you a larger city liked to see, one can drive problem-free with the collectivo or taxi around 15 to 20 minutes to to Playa del Carmen go. There you find everything that you need, as bars, clubs and shops.
The only small hooks about the hotel was the beach. This is unfortunately somewhat rocky, and there was only 2 small areas where you into the water could be. Also you had to, if you wanted to have a beach chair, early in the morning to reserve a spot, since the other guests apparently already at 6 get up to with towels a liege to reserve and then only around 11 at the beach to appear. If you still real Carribean like to experience would like, are several beaches partly only ten minutes with the taxi or collectivo distance (for good tips the bell boys questions).
We would come back at any time, just returned, because the food and drinks really great were, and the country and people were very impressive. read more

The hotel was very clean, that very nice and helpful staff. The complex was really nice and the food good. The only negative was at the beach. If you into the sea runs very many rock. Without bathing shoe you could not into the water go. Apart from that was the beach clean, and there were enough chairs there, even in the afternoon. We would in any case spend another vacation there, however for guests without English language skills not suitable. We had not a problem. read more

Overall a great hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, food was wonderful. The only minor problem is it too few animations gave. A noteworthy problem is, that the hotel about 25 kilometers away from the center Pizzeria L'altra is. You have unfortunately no lift with the buses or similar you have to every time for the taxi 15 Euro and 15 Euro back pay. Nearby there is hardly any shops. Nearby 10 minutes away there are some restaurants and small coffee / bars' s but that was it also. Evening already quite boring. The good thing is that you until 2 ... o'clock at night yet in the hotel drinks size could.

We had a standard room with all inclusive offer. The rooms are big and every day on the new really clean. The cleaning ladies do a great work. The furnishing is partly a couple of years old, but not run down, or worn. The hotel itself will, it seems, the whole day cleaned all the time. You can see to each daily and nighttime anyone at work, which the stay really very pleasant decorated. In the all inclusive offer everything was included, what you under a right vacation presents. Food you get around the hour in various restaurants, as well ... as alcoholic (international) and not alcoholic beverages. The quality of the meals is very good and diverse. Despite all inclusive international alcoholic beverages poured out (jim beam, Jack Daniels, blue Curacao.) the cocktails are tasty and on request with more or less alcohol mixed. From the guest structure ago, it was for our stay many very pleasant English and americans, as well as but also Italian, spanish and some russians. All together actually very pleasant. read more

A decent beach hotel. Pleasant staff, constantly swept and tidy. The complete staff speaks very good English. Food after 2 weeks still good. Beach is right in front of the door. Downside: our room ( standard room 103) was every day super clean, however was the room itself damp-the whole clothes and the bed were always somewhat damp. It was however not so bad that we the room would want to change. Friends had a room in a higher floor and had this problem not. Free bikes from the tourists -Disneyland-ghetto Puerto aventuras to main street to drive. From there ... one comes very simple with the collectivo or taxi to Playa del Carmen or Tulum. Excursions are extremely expensive in the hotel! We have for example for the whale shark tour (worth it) for Easytours (in PDC directly on Collectivostand ) $100 less per head paid. Comparisons is worthwhile so-) Puerto aventuras is to 90% in American Touristenhand. The rest of Europeans, mainly Spanish. We felt in any case comfortable and relaxing. read more

The complex itself is very clean run. It disturbed us, that the beach section rather small, very rocky and rocky. If you long beaches wishes, is for this hotel not in the right place. By the pool there was the whole days activities. For tourist, the recuperation search is this hotel also nothing. With the food I had so my problem. I am actually not very vulnerable to diarrhea. Long walks on the beach are not possible and the beach itself is not so nice, as we for example from Asie know. The US however at all did not disturb us. We recovered super and will probably next year come back. Tip: a cash machine on the edge ( gas station) also accepts Burghof-Maps. Much better rate than anywhere else. At the airport we had the worst rate. Even in the hotel it was better. Even better in Playa del Carmen. I can recommend the diving center at the hotel's beach. Really nice, competent people there. Some speak even ... German. Definitely go on excursions. The Mayabauten are really great interesting. We had guided excursions with the travel guide. Wasn't such a hit. Mass processing. Prefer a rental car take and drive, it is rather because, before all the buses eitrudeln and can properly take time. à la carte restaurant really recommendable. Except perhaps for the Spanish, the we didn't really like. Otherwise Japanese: super, steakhouse: great, Italian: okay, Mexican: okay. Creperie: super! read more

There is to the hotel very many good Descriptions, therefore nothing new, besides to the beach my opinion. It is explicitly derived from the brochure and photos clear, that there is no (or little ) sandy beach is, as you might know from somewhere else. You cannot so build sand castles and hour long walks on the beach there was also not. Bathing shoe are a must. We knew that beforehand, so you can the beach not so bad. When we were there, there were always enough chairs available, no matter what time of day. The excursions we had our ... tour operator in the hotel on the site. We were cenote -diving and Paradise Islands, the definitely made must. For us the nicest vacation and we will be back! read more

We were exactly one night in this hotel! Are now moved in the neighboring hotel Yucatan beach Catalunya which only because of the room is much better! The Yucatan beach and Catalunya Riviera Maya belong together and in the area of the hotel you could see no difference! The restaurants are shareable/ beach/ pool animation

We arrived after 18 o'clock travel middle at night at 1 ... o'clock and hoped finally in peace sleep, but far from the: our room Lag in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen, thus we could the whole night a humming and other noises hear! I could fall asleep not, even the flight with us was against total relaxation!
The whole room seemed old and dearless furnished. Also very dark and somewhat musty! Normally we can well arrange with the realities, but not for this price & then 2 weeks! Room number 1031
On the next day I immediately at the front desk turned around and we were also a new room in the better Yucatan offered. We have opted for an upgrade and a suite (30 $/ night) conducive.

Beach good (not Caribbean long white sandy beach but nice Bay with good snorkel possibility) - only the loungers are very cramped together & the Yanks have no reserve!
Food: in the main restaurant not at all good-the 5 subjects restaurants are great! The creperie stunning good!

Big hotel, the very was nested under construction and it is very badly soundproofed is.
Condition of the standard -room with small flaws - especially bad location, but very clean.
All inclusive very extensive, with 5 à la carte restaurant, but little variety. Breakfast every day directly.
Unpleasant: partial long waiting periods before the restaurants because of overbooking!

We stayed in the train a dive travel group 3 days in the hotel used to from there with pro dive team in the cenote to diving. Surely we have therefore only a room to the street get. It was large and clean, the bed okay, massive wardrobe with a safe. Unfortunately came everyone night at 4 o'clock the trash collection with great fanfare by and woke us up. With a room to the pool is this hotel for us recommendable nonetheless. The food is good and, in a great open dining room. Nice hotel in a beautiful garden area, but with disappointing beach. The is only around 1 to 2 meters wide, then there is a ugly approximately 2 meters high concrete wall and beyond that is sand for the hotel guests artificial poured. For children completely unsuitable. Luckily there is a small lagoon and a small reef, at which one korallenfische without snorkeling watch.

It is a very well maintained area, in which we felt very good. The staff were always very friendly. The room service we put all 3 days a tip now. the cleanliness was very good.
very appealing the theme restaurants. The best were the Japanese and Mexican restaurant.
we had a small coffee machine in the room and the small mini bar every day with 2 beer and Softgetraenken filled.
very recommendable are excursions to Chichen Itza and xcaret. After Tulum you can only drive with the collectivo for.
Then one has more time, after seeing the Mayastätte, the beach ... below the temple to enjoy. read more

About the hotel there is almost nothing but good things to say about it. The hotel lies in a closed area of Porto aventuras calls. This area is like a small village with town center, port and different free time opportunities laid out.
the hotel is very clean and the staff, and in particular front desk and the Concierge service( helping in case of any problems) are very friendly. Unfortunately speaks the staff at the bar and in the restaurants little English.
the food( all inclusive) is varied and very good. Every evening a other Topic (Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Chinese) ... elected. After about a week to get the recovery program. Furthermore, there are several theme restaurants available. Here we can to particularly the Japenese restaurant, with show cooking, recommended. In addition there is a snack bar (citizens, fries, etc.) and a Crêperia. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, no matter, whether you sweet, hearty, sausage wanted or flakes.
the rooms are spread over 4 floors. We have a very loud room get, that an input to the housing estate was. After 3 nights we have a room changing asked. On the next day we were then, without problems, to a room in the 4 floor with a view of the sea relocated. Apart from that we were satisfied the transportation situation to and from the hotel cleanliness.
the sports program( water polo, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, canoeing, etc.) is perfectly OK. The entertainment every day by the pool instead. As we basically only to 4 days of the vacation at the lunch and afternoon in the hotel we found the entertainment not annoying. You can also at the beach retreat, in case the animation times peace may have.
the majority of the guests of the hotel came from Canada and the United States. Moreover, there were a few English, Asians and Europeans to be met. During our travels there were only 6 other German in the hotel.
only point of criticism(what the hotel itself nothing can) is the beach. In the water there are everywhere ' reefs' Rocky. Right from the first meters there are unpleasant rocks. As soon as you walk in to an sandy area and think a few meters one can go swimming is already back through rocks tight under the sea surface disabled. Most of the swimmers had therefore bathing shoes borne.

for families the at the beach with small children vacation plan rather bad. There is a lagoon, there are usually however more adults as children. The other Side of the beach is Rocky and stony. For small children it was absolutely not suitable. The food is actually rather bad. Even my children liked after a week the quite fatty, constant repeated food not more.
