The primula beach hotel has 248 rooms in different categories on 10 floors. We had booked a deluxe room with a partial ocean view. 1984 built, it shows its age, of course, but only outside. The lobby is with wood and marble mistake, very clean, nice and modern. Everything is open and one has directly insight into the restaurant, the bar area on the lower floor with views of the pool area. The hotel offered breakfast. The guests are almost exclusively asian guests. Europeans you will find it here no more than a 200. read hotel review

    The room (deluxe-room) was spacious and with a kettle, tea and coffee. There was a small balcony with a partial sea view, air conditioning and a minibar. For muslims there was on the ceiling a kiblat (qiblah). All in all a clean, spacious and comfortable room. Maybe not quite as modern as in a 5 star hotel but for the relaxed days certainly adequate.

    It is next to a café-bar with two restaurants. The first - in the lobby area - also referenced as breakfast room. There is from noon until evening different meals mostly asian art. The price performance ratio it is slightly cheaper than in Germany but the quality was very good. In 2. restaurant you can get for example a bar freshly caught fish choose, the chef then prepared. But as well as pasta and rice dishes to choose from. The breakfast is something to get used to, since, for example, there green bread, unsalted, but the butter salted, neither sausage nor cheese but jam and 'hard boiled' eggs than liquid in a deep plates. Asian stop.

    Good english is not the strength in this hotel. Somehow you still with the staff to inform, as with very, very much friendliness this deficit again well done. The rooms are cleaned daily, and no reason to complaints.

    The pool was amazing, especially since it almost every day for itself alone had. Asians are only rarely in the morning or heat to the pool. The same applied for the long sandy beach - deserted. For recovery-looking for a dream. The whole area was very clean and well maintained and the staff friendly and unobtrusive.

    The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the airport, near the town of kuala terengganu. For foot one needs about 30 minutes but you can also visit the hotel's own, free shuttle bus, the need only 5 minutes. Night life if you here in vain, since this is not a tourist area, but you will find a few shops in the city for the one or the other to provide.

We have really enjoyed this hotel because we the only tourists were. It is not a package tourists or groups. The restaurant, as already mentioned, was very good. The location on the beach also. We very much enjoyed the walk without problems in the area and the market. read hotel review
