The rooms are large and spacious. They are equipped with a huge bed, the totally comfortable. A closet, a large desk, a tv, several mirror a very nice furnished bathroom with a window, with large shower, large sink and a hair dryer. Every room has a balcony with a view of the port or on the pool, it was comfortable to sit.

The restaurant of the hotel has many cozy seats inside, but also a large terrace with a view of the pool, on the morning the first rays of sunshine the breakfast sweeten. On of the terrace there is also a grill, at the evening lots of fresh prepared. In the morning there is omelets and pancakes. The buffet is always with lots of different, fresh delights orientated, so that everyone should find something. The dinner stands every day under another motto (oriental, asian...). Everything was always clean and the staff try the whole time every wish to fulfill. You are here very pleasant and always open to for a conversation. The atmosphere is thus always very nice. The beverages for breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, water...) Are inclusive, during dinner not. The prices are approximately as in every restaurant in El Gouna.

The staff in the Fanadir is very friendly, always hard working and always a nice word and a smile for every guest. They fulfilled every wish. The staff all speak english and some even a little bit german. The room is every day thoroughly cleaned.

The pool is only 1.10 meters deep, but it is good a few swim laps. There is also a pool bar, at the one even in the water sitting, a delicious drink. It is always clean and in the pool, as he every day thoroughly cleaned is. There are always enough beach chairs for everyone, hie r there is no annoying reserve chairs. Außerdme there is by the pool a ping-pong table.

The hotel has 54 rooms, so it is very comfortable and familiar. One is not only one of many. The Fanadir is in great condition, as it was only a few years ago and by the housekeeping staff around the hour in shot is kept. Right next to the hotel is another-mosaique, the same management and also otherwise not large by the Fanadir distinguishes, except in the way of food: at mosaique there is all inclusive, in the Fanadir half board. From the airport in Hurghada it was only 30 kilometer until to El Gouna. Depending on the speed of the driver, so you are not long. Advisable is on the shuttle from the airport and with a taxi to the hotel and again back to drive. It is not expensive and you save the annoying hotelabgeklappere and the much too early pick-up on the way back. El Gouna is probably one of the most beautiful cities on the red sea, no unfinished buildings like everywhere and far more green. This is due to the fact, that the whole town of an egyptian was built and it still is. Places in el gouna features are the lagoons, the whole town drag, the two districts shares. The older part: downtown. The newer part, still grows and in the Fanadir is located : Abu Tig Marina - the harbor. Only the small promenade separated the Fanadir from the port at which the many yachts in the lagoons before anchors lie in the morning. 5 -minute walk away the beach and the beach bar 'moods' and there are also numerous restaurants and shops. The kite -beach is 12 minutes about, on foot to reach, there are but also a shuttle. Who in the downtown would like, can there with the cheap tuk tuk go there. There are also buses in many other cities.

The rooms are very spacious, there is also a balcony with chairs. She are equipped with air conditioning and a fridge with minibar. There is also a large tv with 4 german channels and a free safe. The furniture are high-quality, the beds very comfortable and the clothes closets were big enough. The bathroom is spacious, the shower cubicle should also for people with xxxl -sizes easily be usable. Everything was clean, tidy and well-maintained. Some rooms are on ramps also for wheel chairs to reach.

In the hotel there is a comfortable furnished restaurant, in fine weather you can also good on a terrace by the pool eat. The food was tasty and in terms of size of the hotel - also very varied. In my case still a special feature in addition, because i was attending a gluten intolerance suffer. For all concerned, i would like here to recommend, without gluten bread to bring itself, because that you could not available bodies. Even in local supermarkets it was not for offer. Otherwise every evening a chef at the buffet along run and showed me, what i could eat and what not. Even for me there was a sufficient variety of food. What the spice is concerned, i have in previous reviews critical notes read. The hotel kitchens aromatization itself local dishes not so much, because the not always the taste of the europeans. But on the buffet are then always bowl with spices, which take you to their own taste nachwürzen can do. Of course there was no pork, the beverages were for my taste somewhat sweet. For cleanliness but huge attention, fruits like dates, strawberries and physalis are hygienic reasons blanches has been, before the buffet ended up. In our group there was not a case of diarrhoea. In the hotel was very good wine, the also affordable was.

The staff is very friendly, at least the front desk also the german language, otherwise english-like by the way in Egypt - an advantage. The rooms are always thoroughly cleaned - sometimes even cleared up-have been. The travel guide locally was always hard and attentive. After the return of the cruise we got as a non-smoker a room assigned, in the prior to arrival completely obvious (better: clearly riechbar ) much smoke must have been. We immediately and without discussion a new and very nice room.

There was a beautiful clean pool, intact beach chairs in sufficient quantity with cushions and towels. There was no animation and no organised entertainment. The rate is rather a matter of taste.

The Fanadir is a pleasant small hotel and offers therefore a friendly and informal atmosphere. It is roughly 5a 7 years old, in oriental style, the rooms, as well as the grounds are tidy and well-maintained. Without exception all guests, with whom i in the conversation was, had booked half board, there was no combat drunkards. The guests mainly came from the german-speaking, most belonged to groups, the combined trip with Nile-cruise and seaside holiday booked. There were also a few guests from Scandinavia.

The hotel is about 25 kilometer away from airport Hurghada on the outskirts of the town from El Gouna directly at a small marina. The city El Gouna is more or less on the drawing board for tourists designed, the name is derived from 'lagoon' from, because there were many, partly man-made lagoon. The hotels in El Gouna are rather small, you can but also ferienwohnungen (about 100 $/ night) rent, their terraces directly at the lagoon intrusions. A small disadvantage El Gouna but: if you like before coral reef snorkeling, must either boat trips or with a taxi to the right places drive, because nearby El Gouna there is no worthwhile underwater world. The beaches can be reached from the hotel Fanadir from to approximately 5 to 10 minutes walk. The beach nearby the old Marina from the guests of the Fanadir be used and is very nice. You get free beach chairs with cushions, here you can also good for swimming. In the direction outskirts (north) there is also a beach, here is the water however over long distances, at best knee-high. Not far away there is a kite school. In the downtown El Gouna there is a nice bazaar, here is the whole einkaufsatmosphäre to be a lot more pleasant than in the not far away Hurghada. The dealers are not intrusive, you can talk to you, you will be advised and friendly approved, even then, if you don't bought. There is also numerous restaurants, which we however because of the quality care in the hotel not visited. You can get the downtown good and cheap about shuttles and so-called tuc tacs reach. Itself as a woman you could still late at night alone and safely through El Gouna walk.

Our room was still overly large, but it was sufficient space everything to bring. The furnishing is attractive. The bed... For holiday conditions perfect comfortable! Cleaned every day - and the thoroughly. There was also almost every day a nice small figure out of towels.

We booked half board. The selection of dishes was the size of the hotel adjusted; you should not the choice as in one of the megabunker expect. The dishes were however everything very tasty. Every evening dinner stood under another motto. The breakfast was good as well. Next to fruit, muesli, yogurt, there were different sausage and cheese, a good selection of bread, cakes, jams, vegetables, as well as a few warm dishes. Alternatively you could pancakes or eggs freshly prepared. The morning offered juice was not our taste, as he strongly sweetened was. The staff was always keen to help, crockery etc. Immediately clear and to serve drinks-also without consideration to be expected. The lunch offered dishes were all freshly prepared, therefore you had to also a small while waiting. Also here wishes of the guests gladly fulfilled and also dishes prepared, not on the menu were. The prices %blank% for beverages, as well as snacks were more than adequate.

The complete team of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Small desires were met immediately. Itself the management in between and inquired, whether all to our tastes was. After 2 days you know, what we wanted to drink ☺ As you with complaints, we can't judge - we had none A missing chair on the terraces one brought in 5 minutes.

In the hotel there are no animation, no sports possibilities (ok, a ping-pong table...) No disco... So rather a hotel for people, the itself can employ ☺ Internet access is for a fee possible-but we did not taken into account. The chairs by the pool are present in sufficient number, as well as umbrellas. Overall the swimming pool rather small, but since the majority of the guests during the day not in the hotel are, completely sufficiently.

A small, well arranged hotel (less than 100 rooms) with a small pool area. The state of the hotel is good-you should, however, also be fair and the egyptian standard to use! Clearly the tiles in the bathroom not so präszise moved, as you know from home, but it just usual. The guests mostly came from Germany, the Switzerland and France. Because of the proximity to kite beach mostly kite surfers.

The ' beach ' on foot it is about 3 minutes-there was also a shuttle bus. The next shopping is a short walk away : Abu Tig Marina. In the 'city centre' of El Gouna buses or you can take a tok tok.

In the hotel there was no entertainment. That is another kind of the vacation. Pool and pool chairs are nice and you can the whole day chill out, if you don't to the beach to go to the beach or just take a walk along the beach or kite surfing or diving. For diving you will directly in front of the hotel in the early pick up.

The hotel is specially 2-years-old, clean with nicely decorated rooms. Great delicious food. Great service! No children, no animation, total peace!

5 minutes to the nicest beach in the marine or 5 minutes to the kite surfers paradise. The location of the hotel is directly at the new navy. Everything else is very fast tuk tuk or by walking distance.
