Very well appointed, modern, super clean and excellent location!
Some rooms have balconies, request one if you enyoj going out!
No spa nor pool, but rest is well presented.
It is mainly business hotel, but as it is within 5 mins to all major attraction, it is well worth staying here for tourist purposes too!
Go for The Level rooms, which are more expensive, but offer a much better experience! read more

A lovely, centrally located hotel right at the train station shopping boulevard friedrichsstraße. The friedrichspalast you can easy to reach on foot, as well as many other attractions.
The hotel has a tapas bar with goodies and no cocktailecke (in the lobby).
The breakfast buffet is magnificent with various tasty breads, fresh fruit and many, many other delicious things. read more

Very nice, centrally located hotel. No 2 minutes to the train station Friedrichstraße. But also in the more immediate vicinity great pubs and restaurants.
We ate not in the hotel (not breakfast)-first time we wanted to berlin cuisine, which in the hotel not offered-and 15,00 Euro (directly booking) or 24,00 Euro for a breakfast is definitely exaggerated. Since ring around as lots of restaurants, bars, cafe's for far less money a very nice breakfast offer.
What we also a bit sour aufstiess, was the parkplatzgeführen - 23,00 Euro per night?! As a guest?!
Otherwise we drove off ... from the location, cleanliness super satisfied and would this hotel for the next city journey certainly consider. We had a room at the back - and had accordingly no noise from S-Bahn or subway. Clear the view of the Spree was missing-but since it was a city break-and we were constantly on the road was-it was no constraint.
We like the melia in Berlin! read more

The melia is a very pleasant city hotel, medium size. The hotel makes general very well maintained and clean impression. The facilities of the hotel include a lobby with a bar, a tapas restaurant, a gourmet restaurant and a gym/sauna area the separate division the level. Convenient to city, a private underground garage. Unfortunately, these 23,00 Euro per day not cheap. read more

We were now nschon to 4, guest at the melia hotel and again was all great. The staff very friendly, the rooms large and tastefully furnished with warm colours, the location not to beat, S-Bahn Friedrichstraße 2 minutes away and all sehenswüprdigkeiten of Berlin-Mitte more than reachable on foot, breakfast buffet that was perfect and now a tip for gourmets: enjoy in the restaurant the 5-course menu with accompanying wines for a great price of 59,00 Euro. Phenomenal and palatine pleasure! read more

Great hotel, right at the train station Friedrichstraße located, good starting point for a berlinstädtetour. Friendly staff, as well as at the reception, as well as the room- and breakfast service. Super frühstücksbüfettauswahl! We had a double room on the 3. floor with view of Spree, but also to Friedrichstraße %blank%. So you could already somewhat away from traffic and the tram latch on, was with the window closed but ok. The amenities in the room was perfect, everything was there, from the flat screen tv, air conditioning, large number of pillows on the bed to the bar. The bathroom ... was spacious and modernly furnished, also with all, what men/women need. The rooms seem well dammed to be, we have heard nothing, neither from next door or from the hallway. We were really pleased from the hotel melia and would recommend it for a sightseeing again. read more

The hotel is overall recommendable. The location in Berlin-Mitte is perfect, public transportation on the doorstep, shops, museums easy to reach.
We had for a room of the category 'the level' and the i can really recommend to anyone. Tastefully furnished large room in a quiet location on the top floor, a nice small breakfast room, a lounge with snacks and drinks. The day started with a quiet breakfast already relaxed, and so a snack in the afternoon or a drink before the evening entertainment is absolutely comfortable.
I would like to highlight however also still the friendly and competent ... staff in all areas of the hotel, from the first minute our arrival until the last minute the departure. I was for the return trip hotel the question, whether a taxi or anything else needed. A big compliment to the staff management of the hotel. read more

Lousy hotel in best dowtown location

Tired hotel in best dowtown location, close to Friedrichstadt Palace and under the linden; unattentive service, gelangweiltes staff; after 24 hours they need to for an order almost excuse, if they überhazpt a waiter find, is prepared, to talk.
Big disaster : a much to small parking garage and : the staff not ready (allegedly not permitted), their car parking (yes gladly also outside of the hotel.
So for me never again! read more
