The melia is a very pleasant city hotel, medium size. The hotel makes general very well maintained and clean impression. The facilities of the hotel include a lobby with a bar, a tapas restaurant, a gourmet restaurant and a gym/sauna area the separate division the level. Convenient to city, a private underground garage. Unfortunately, these 23,00 Euro per day not cheap. read more

    The rooms (in the level) have, for a city hotel, a pleasant size. We had a room with view Spree and Friedrichstraße. Also the bathroom was good size. The cleaning of the rooms was perfect. Characteristics in the level, daily there was a fresh bottle of water to the room, in the morning waiting for the daily newspaper on the door and in the evening the room for the night prepared. Really pleasant is the peace and quiet in the hotel noticed. From the neighboring rooms nothing was to be heard. Also from outside there was, with the windows closed, nothing to be heard. Now and then the trolley was to feel.

    Also here again the reference to the level. The dishes in the level lounge were immaculate. The breakfast selection was perfect (noisy hotel is identical to the normal dining room). From the fresh juice to to sparkling wine is everything available. Especially it pleased us, that the desired eggs always freshly prepared are. A special feature in the level lounge, as inhabitants of 7. stick you got here the whole day free drinks (with or without alcohol), lunch there was a pool and from 18 o'clock small snacks, which is really tasted good. We have once the gourmet restaurant visited. Really great! The fillet looks for its same. We would also like to the hotel bar used. Unfortunately was the gentleman behind the bar but completely overburdened. This seemed negative impact on service and cleanliness. We then went to the beach establishments.

    We had the level posted. Here was the service really good. The ladies at the own front desk were always friendly and helpful. The service staff in the level lounge were always very friendly and tried hard. The cleaning of the rooms was perfect. There was no reason to complain at.

    The hotel is on a great location in Friedrichstraße right at the Spree. For a Berlin city trip really recommendable, as all the highlights are within walking distance. If nevertheless times a u / S-Bahn is needed, is the train station Friedrichstraße only 200 meters away. Also to Friedrichstadt Palace it is only approximately 200 meters. The Friedrichstraße invited for shopping and the nearby located georgenstraße offers each quantity restaurants.

The hotel is overall recommendable. The location in Berlin-Mitte is perfect, public transportation on the doorstep, shops, museums easy to reach. We had for a room of the category 'the level' and the i can really recommend to anyone. Tastefully furnished large room in a quiet location on the top floor, a nice small breakfast room, a lounge with snacks and drinks. The day started with a quiet breakfast already relaxed, and so a snack in the afternoon or a drink before the evening entertainment is absolutely comfortable. I would like to highlight however also still the friendly and competent ... staff in all areas of the hotel, from the first minute our arrival until the last minute the departure. I was for the return trip hotel the question, whether a taxi or anything else needed. A big compliment to the staff management of the hotel. read more

We stayed for two nights at the melia and can only recommend this hotel! Had bed and breakfast. This had a lot of choice and it is for certain something for everyone. We are very picky and have our stay nothing to fault. The hotel has a great location! read more

    We were from the size, the view to Spree and the decor excellent. Everything on rfechten spot, the bathroom also spacious with a tub, heated floors and all the amenities such as enough towels, shampoo, shower gel and so on modern and colourfully decorated, we were very comfortable.

    Absolutely friendly and accommodating! Nice front desk upon arrival, friendly staff for breakfast and in the restaurant. Room cleaning was ok, however the used glasses were forgotten to clean and the tissues forget to fill up. Should in this category not happen, but did the positive impression not detract from our stay. Tissues after speech at the front desk immediately refilled.

    The melia is the perfect starting point for one city-stroll. We were traveling for the advent feeling and weihnachtseinkäufen and weren't dissapointed! Several christmas markets (gendarmenmarkt, operpalais, red Rathaus) perfect to reach on foot and for other purchases absolutely superbly located, without the transport have to use. On foot is trump!

We were shortly before christmas there, in friedrichspalast at an event to attend. The hotel is only two doors down. Shopping mall is on foot easy to reach. About minutes you're at the check point Charly and at the Brandenburger Tor. read more

Great hotel with very rich breakfast, friendly staff and clean rooms! Fine kitchen in the restaurant, if you wanted it a bit 'normal' like, can it. Good and proper tapas bar or in one of the many restaurants on the Friedrichstraße go. Great location - many sights in the immediate area. Nevertheless one should mention the, that the hotel on S-Bahn train station is and therefore you can with an open window they hear. read more

For us, the melia standard now a benefit has become especially since we only 4 months stayed in a comparable hotel in Berlin booked-a letdown for expensive money. This is done in a melia-no matter where-still not happened. There are certainly a or other to improve but by the structure under spanish management is probably unlike difficult durzusetzen. So that however, you can life, value for money is okay and this is for berlin standards not always standard. We have in any case for January booked again, the central location of the hotel offers is formal. read more

The location convinced a few steps away from the Brandenburger Tor away, to the friedrichstr. Located four star hotel the spanish melia -hotel group. Modern facilities with some little style. The unfortunately somewhat outdated hotel the melia -group convinced by the first-class location at the Friedrichstraße, a few steps away from Brandenburger Tor and of the highlights of the capital. Easy access to the airport ( bus goes nearby, direct connection) and the main station ( a few minutes with the S-Bahn). The rooms are functional and well equipped, if a bit small ( little room for manoeuvre in the bathroom). The breakfast buffet is very poor, that means wide choice of food, in an unpretentious quality ( cafeteria level a la battle at the buffet with restless ambience). Complaint ... led to a shrug with the note, that you 'it' would pass on. ( cause: bad cleaned room, bad service in the field of the level, the decide of the hotel). read more

A nice hotel in a perfect location, centrally located in Berlin-Mitte located. Dock for Spreefahrten and subway in the immediate area ( approximately 50 meters). Very nice and clean room with very good furnishing. Staff very friendly and polite. A tapas bar to stay a while. Restaurants in the immediate area. read more

Very beautiful hotel, perfect location located in the center of the city. The offered breakfast buffet very clear and every day the same. Cleanliness in the rooms could have been better nevertheless a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately no pool and no beautiful lobby. read more
