Modern and stylish hotel near Prado

The hotel is new and modern. However the interiors are very dark because of poor lighting. The location is very good near Prado, Gran Via and Atocha train station. There was some electricity problems in our suite. Both televisions were switched off by themselves after one minute of viewing. After the breakfast there was no electricity at all in our room. The free wifi was well-functioning and fast. The breakfast was quite limited in variety of food, no hot dishes. read more

Very great hotel in an excellent location, the prado is on the doorstep, the Plaza Major in 15 minutes on foot distance, everywhere bars and restaurant, rooms in spite of the old (and beautiful) building perfectly equipped, just a great hotel. read more

Stayed at the Radisson Blu Madrid for two nights and really liked the place. It's located right in the center of Madrid and is within walking distance of the main museums (Prado and Reina Sofia) and other tourist attractions. The hotel itself was very well designed, with a very comfortable and welcoming room. Breakfast was also very good. read more

Situation very central for shopping, catering trade and objects of interest. Catering trade only breakfast evaluates. The Business class room rather small compared to other Radisson Blu hotel. read more

Modern “fashion shop hotel” in old walls with stylischer furnishing - however everything does not fit completely coloured together (e.g. Desserts). Opening was in December 2009. Very maintained condition, cleanly (everything still again, however lets the quality of the processing partly remaining - to silicone joints, wallpaper, etc.) the 54 rooms (standard, Business and suites) are distributed on 4 floors, in the ground floor are the lobby (without seat opportunity) wish, a restaurant and the bar, in the cellar a small Wellness range with 3 sport devices. The rates of the Business rooms and suites contain breakfast, which ... otherwise with EUR 15 (Continental) in all rule or EUR 22 (large breakfast) - in each case per person - in the books shows. We found a European-mixed guest structure there over a long weekend (whereby one meets people rather rarely - are only 54 rooms). read more

    Size of the rooms (standard rooms) rather small. There are rooms with 2 beds or with a double bed (Queen Size). Most rooms have a small withdrawal (balcony). Doors to open or air conditioning system for ventilation (mechanism switches itself when each entering the room - thus each mark must be deactivated manually), as one likes it. The desk (approximately, about 80 cm) is quasi identical to the two Nachttischen (those are smaller). For business travelers that is not there much too small and low anything for working. Design-technically the bright wood of the three tables does not fit the otherwise beautiful remainder of the room. All rooms are individually designt. The bath is quite large, very large accessible shower with Rainfall Duschkopf. Towel heating element available, however defectively/deactivates. The ventilation in the bath cannot be switched off, somewhat loud and annoying. In that mini bar gives it beside refrigerator a water digester and a Nespresso machine. Everything was clean and very new. The processing (wallpaper, flowing, etc.) is somewhat as described carelessly implemented.

    Friendly staff, which spoke English apart from Spanish also. Room service was fast, possible for room cleaning of o.k. cleaning, room service.

    The Wellness range consists 35 degrees of water temperature of a Thermal Whirl pool of the quantity 3*6 m, about. Besides there is 2 experience showers, as well as a steam bath with shower and 4 couches. Directly apart from the Wellness range there is a seat bicycle, a run volume and a bicycle. Applications in the two Massageräumen can be booked. Free of charge water and apples. In both ranges it is very, very warmly (at least feeling 30 degrees) and damp (I wanted to make here no sport).

    Great situation, in direct proximity to the museums at the Prado. Since the hotel is not directly because of the main street, it is very calm with closed windows. Into the other direction there is not 10 foot minutes to one in the party quarter of Madrid is. To the next subway railway station (Anton Martin) there is about 5 min to foot, to the airport lasts it with the underground about 45 min. (2 times transfer, matter of expense EUR 2). Taxi directly before the Türe, about EUR 25 to 30 to the airport. Course (Renfe): To reach (connections after Sevilla, Barcelona, etc.) in direct proximity one finds TAP Pa bars and a multiplicity at restaurants and taverns to station Atocha in scarcely 10 min. to foot. The two Bars/Cafés at the place are recommended.
