We stayed for four days with half board in the hotel karlshof, the furnishing is super old and accordingly also the bathrooms (disgusting)!
The only nice on the whole hotel was the service (a lady from Hungary).
The owner (a lady from Romania) was of course not in the house,
The food in the house was not enjoyable, we had tried, in my view, it is incomprehensible how food so can present, it was overcooked, burned or roughly and spices have they never heard, we then outward ate.
Our recommendation: a different hotel! read more

I wonder what the 3 stars are for, perhaps 20 years ago but for the heuteigen standard now really not. The room was dirty the toilet you could not block, the bathroom had a flip door stor, where you had to watch out that you not the fingers einklemmt. On the only table in the room was the tiny tv with satellite - tv and 7 channels. The staff could hardly german, the dinner had 3 course but it was the only good thing the soup. I did not, the hofer-travel offers such a thing. read more

We are not picky but normally one would have to turn around and go. The alleged three stars hotel turned out to be a real catastrophe! The room was dirty and small. Cobwebs hanging on the ceiling and the concons the spiders! The mattress (no double bed, but a french bed by the size) was probably from the year 1900, there were stains on it and the sheet was not entirely through the mattress and was so small that it is again and again together rolled during sleep and we got on the bare mattress had to lie. You wanted ... at least his time not in this room spend, let alone sleeping.
The bathroom was in terms of size okay, if it were not the modernde smell, analyzes tiles and fugenteile, the dirty drain etc.
The food was probably the biggest disaster of all! Spices at the food probably never seen. The taste was just bad. My friend had to come herself even on the first evening after eating vomit.
The best part was at the end when we checked out and we the lady at the reception in a very unfriendly attitude parking charge wanted, even though we this not at all use them.

When booking over Tchibo with a three star hotel we have no miracle, but a normal Mittelklassenhotel expected. That is when the karlshof be no question. Hotel is old but clean. The parking extra with €6, -on the day is annoying but in saalbach no complimentary guest parking possible without Privatgrund. read more

We were 4 days through Hofer-Travel in the hotel Karlshof. This hotel is not suitable for people with severely 'hotel', it is ancient and probably never been replaced. We had Lucky and got a vacation apartment the relatively large was also a large bathroom and TV, the furniture was ancient and shabby. The karlshof is a in need of renovation hotel, the three stars are overrated. The staff are partly hard-working, partly underqualified. We were on a budget price of 750 euros per person inclusive ski pass of any damage set. Even though the Austrian kitchen are, we found the food to be very bad. What I have never experienced so far in Austria. We had although half board after trying 3 dinner externally to us taken. The check-in process was a pleasure not enjoyable, we are onto a lunch in the pedestrian precinct evaded. We left 1 day early. We had ... we booked through Tchibo. Here one was friendly and understanding. You are even with a small A credit memo dated. Good we stayed above average! I can only recommend the hotel for the simplest tastes. Half board definitely avoid! Above average again at any time book. read more
