We were at the beginning of our Bali-holiday for 4 nights in this hotel. The check in was quick and easy with welcome drink and we even received a upgrade into a singaraja room, which was bigger than the resort -room is. Furthermore, you can relax in the small lounge with water, fruits and cookies provide. Also, the hotel 4 bottles of water daily in the room ready. Very good! The hotel is in a good state and for the whole day, is very much staff tried everything clean and tidy to hold. The large garden plant is very well ... maintained. In the next years might need to the hotel façade be renewed times, since this to some places already quite dirty and with large stains covered. One evening at the smaller pool saw a rat, which of course not was so nice, but for the size of the gardens, the many sides is open, probably not forthcoming.
By the pool you can every day large hand towels for the loungers get. There are on the complex definitely enough.
Breakfast in the hotel was really great and it was a wide selection of fresh fruit, fresh juice, pastries and traditional food. Please take the jam try, in small glass of already on the table ready. The fantastic delicious. We ate in the hotel only once at lunch. This food was really good, but as in lots of reviews already written, is the in the hotel really expensive. For a salad and portion of chips we have about 20 €without drinks. Drinks are in the hotel also expensive-a Cola circa 4 Euro. If you in the hotel left walked out, there is a small mini market, where you cheap drinks or small snacks to buy can.
One evening were we outside the hotel in balique food. The atmosphere there is really very pleasant, the food was also good, but the price was just a little bit cheaper than in the hotel. The much described Seafood-warning in Jimbaran worth it for a visit in any case. We found it nice at the beach to sit and delicious Seafood to enjoy. You can sit on nice arranged small wooden tables. The atmosphere is nice, but a bit rustic. We liked it.
The beach is depending on, whether degrees at low or high tide is more or less neat. Unfortunately is often a bit trash washed ashore, but also here the staff is always on the tidying up. The waves at high tide are the absolute best. But please the current not be underestimated, the attracts a rather fast with itself. Again and again are at the beach some stray dogs wandered. Which Bali but a general problem.
The spa we didn't use. As us the prices really blown away. Partly much more expensive than in good fun in Germany. I had a massage outside the hotel taken into account, really super cheap and also very good was. However was permanently the street noise audible. Relaxation is then perhaps something else.
In summary we would recommend the intercontinental in any case further, us the entire area, the service and the food convinced us. If we come again times to Bali come, then stay here.
Tip: please at the airport not immediately from the first taxi drivers leave some disturbances or a price beforehand. Definitely not more than 100000 rp from the airport the interconti or pay a bluebird taxi, the drive with taxameter. read more

A very nice, well-maintained hotel with fine cuisine, the high standard of all four restaurants: balinese cuisine (Jimbaran gardens ) italian cuisine (bella cucina ), japanese cuisine (ko) and Jimbaran terrace (special theme nights)
One reads now and then in reviews, that it outside cheaper restaurants, but they are with respect to often just dumps with plastic chairs and mediocre, cheap tourist food. I personally find it extremely unfair, 'next door' to eat, but otherwise all the amenities of the hotel to take advantage of it. The bill is not on, eventually left the service after, because nobody in the ... eat at home and the money next door at the ugly ' foodie' You must consider it carefully, whether the intercontinental and its excellent cuisine can afford or not. read more

A very big hotel with corresponding weaknesses. Our room unfortunately dirty, before all the bathroom not really nice. Missing bottle opener, even a cockroach crossed our path. Complaint was very friendly and handled quickly, however no new room offered, respectively they told us, that because of the total reservation of the hotel only a worse room would be free. That was not so professional. But it was well taken care of and was very accommodating. Breakfast area often full, breakfast good, but not outstanding, restaurants and bars inordinately expensive, but food and drinks of good quality. Absolute lowpoint was the ... pool. The water was so warm, that it a really disgusted, swimming. Overall the hotel was very full and thus rather hectic. We wouldn't go there again. read more

We were now for the 3. time in this hotel. The 1. time may 2009 honeymoon and under the supervision of the then manager of the really great. After 3 week stay is sure: we will be back.
The 2. time we were october 2010 traveled. Was booked another hotel in seminyak, which however so it was terrible, the last 5 days here the interconti logged in have. As we had heard, that the manager has changed and that some different ran, which also we didn't like so much. He was on the austerity and we noticed this and although ..., there was now no evening live band more you listen to could for example and there was still a lot to.
Now to the 3. stay. This hotel attracts us simply again and again magic at. Alone the location, the arrive, the check in, the extreme friendliness of the staff and so on
We had a nice sinjaraja rooms, which more than adequate was. Enough space and the bathroom enough. Nice with separate door to the toilet.
Our 5 days there were really nice. The breakfast as always totally great. The best of all hotels, that we on our tour had booked (we had now enough comparison opportunities other hotels, as we had made a round trip). The service for breakfast - you knew we already in the meantime-super nice and courteous. Partly we had very nice conversations and it was so nice to come back to be recognised and so nice to be greeted. The highlight was but the german trainee with their super sweet and nice smile. Thank you very much and everything all the best we must wish it!
During the day the selection was huge, whether pool or at the beach were plenty of chairs. New for us was, that everywhere on the whole because after sun set candles were set up, 100 first, what 1000 de candles. Insanity, what a effort! But so heavenly romantic.
Unfortunately were the 5 days way too short. We ate at the beach down to the left in the fish restaurants. Delicious and cheap.
We miss everything, Bali, the people, the sun, the hotel intercontinental and the conclusion we will be back!
Short note: we noticed, that the hotel intercontinental not with the taxi company blue bird works. We left us a taxi and it came: taxi Bali.
That is not at all!
We had previously in Nusa Dua 2 a very unattractive middle experience by taxi Bali and with which we did not want to leave.
We are the next time itself out to the street and there are blue birds, you simply stopping, but be careful Bali taxi and blue birds are easily confused. One should already look carefully.
And it is also the airport in denpasar totally rebuilt and enlarged. We are curious, if it back so far is. read more

Really beautiful hotel which was already in some places were a bit old works, we however find the it perfect for style of the hotel fits! The massive garden is very well maintained, the employees at any time always helpful and unbelievably friendly it everything is just right! Obviously everyone could find something to complain about as some of the state of the hotel complain, they have in my opinion no idea or just a other standard used to! A complex this size so in shot hold is not easy and you put in the effort to implement this. In ... our opinion manage the great! The rooms always clean you get if you like it 2 times daily fresh towels and something to drink! The food is very good but expensive for 2 people under 25 Euro goes nothing at all! We recommend urgently HALP guest house to book if you don't want to, and taxis in the area getting! The food outside of the hotel ( from the beach left) the many recommend good but really not more. Always the same bbq sauce to all fish, you smell bad after smoke of the grills the restaurants, dogs run around and so on. Oh the prices are for 2 people with circa 20 Euro. ( it is in Bali with all restaurants usually 10% service and 11% tax on the food top). Really half board take you save the money and the food in the hotel is much better and diverse! Italian, Japanese, Indian and typical Balinese (spicy). Recommendable is the Italians Pepe' nero (very cheap and very good and clean ) only 5 minutes away with the taxi ( Bluebirds ) take! Changed we always in the hotel who not a pfennigfuchser is, the recommendable ( is nevertheless no matter wether you someplace else 3 Euro more you can get is on vacation!). The beach is in the hotel area well maintained and the sea for swimmer always suited and very warm! The pool area is very clean and you get almost always a pool chair in the shade! For excursions we can 'explicitly only Kiki' recommend (with info please let the Telefonr. Come!) he speaks perfect German is cheaper than the travel agent and you see when you want everything from Bali. read more

The intercontinental in Bali on Jimbaran beach was already much written and it is still a recommendable hotel, because despite the size of the hotel (approximately 400 rooms) and with good utilization still a quiet spot could be found. However are especially the bathrooms really needs some redecorating and temporarily left the cleaning of the rooms to be desired!
The beach from Jimbaran is also for swimming suitable, provided there is no violent storm, because then plenty of trash to the beach is rinsed. This was as soon as possible its own plaster and räumkollonen away, however remains unfortunately then ... a few days the sea dirty and the adjoining estate only slow cleaned. read more

The hotel is simple amazing. The interconti the first time entered, we were simply dumb. Alone the reception hall is so breathtaking. At the check-in we were friendly greeted and we got a welcome cocktail. Everything went completely fast and the ball we were on our room. Our room was also pure luxury. A huge bed and a great bathroom with all the amenities. We had only breakfast with booked, what also all times was enough. The breakfast can two restaurants to be taken. It also offers for every hungry stomach something delicious to eat. At night, we mostly to ... the fish restaurants directly at the beach gone, where one the feet in the water dangle could, if you in the first row it looked and watch the sunset. Just pure romance;-o the hotel complex itself is the typical balinesischenstil built and simply only beautifully. Over the garden one arrives directly to the pool- and seashore which very nice designed. The beach is always clean, the sea has great waves and one at any time a beach chair. The hotel has never crowded, which was very pleased. In the evening the whole area with thousands of candles decorated, which just looks so nice. On some evenings there was live music and the various restaurants, which we many a time have looked at. With the entire vacation we are more than satisfied and would this hotel recommend it to anyone. There are just nothing to moan about. They are all very friendly and always cooperative. There was even a doctor in the hotel complex and helps immediately. The prices for eating and drinking are normal. If one it to have would like, one goes simply eat out or buy in the supermarket around the corner a bit. read more

The staff are very friendly and attentive! Hotel room ( Singaraja room) was large and very clean! The hotel offers everything which one wishes itself! We were on our 3 week Java/ Bali-round trip in many hotels (10) but the intercontinental was with the 3 best! The beach is very fine and you can evenings directly at the beach many bars and restaurants delicious and cheap food.

We stayed in the Singarajabereich and we felt very comfortable. The large garden was very well-kept and the staff is extremely friendly. The beach was perfect, enough chairs available and the breakfast fantastic.
