My husband and I spent the last night the commundo in Stuttgart, combined with a musical visit. If we had expected a classic three star hotel: passable, but not luxurious, as we have so often for 100 Euro had booked. What we got: an expensive stay in a 'youth hostel'.
Spent I wrote in the first sentence be aware, because we could sleep was hardly. The bed is very narrow and totally unsuitable for a normal night as a couple, in which both really want to go to sleep, because each other it is for certain good- directly at a ... closet, the as room divider serve. The mattresses are billets hard, the pillows thin cloth.
The room seemed altogether very run down: stains on the walls, mold at the shower's wall, a bettumrandung with cigarette burns. A mini bar we were looking in vain, as well as an airco. In our tiny double room was 1 chair - one could comfortably on the small bed sit. Also the bathroom was a person oriented: a large towel we finally divided, because we simply no second had.

In short: I would recommend this giant hotel ( the name hotel has this device does not deserve) not recommend. Not for one day, not for more days. Unfortunately was in Stuttgart fair and no rooms more available, otherwise I would have on Monday evening already again checked out and me another hotel taken. The hotel is only around 100 to 200 meters from the S-Bahn-station 'university' and adjacent directly at the science -building the university Stuttgart.
Check in and check out was easy. The staff ( as well as at the reception, as well as in the dining room) was always friendly and competent.
The hotel owns a nice inner courtyard, in the restaurantthe dining room is placed. The whole had the character a cafeteria.
The room itself was spacious and with a lcd tv equipped. The bathroom against was small and functional. My room was in the guesthouse 1 on a street ... and was quite noisy. The rush-hour traffic in the morning made the alarm clock obsolete. read more

The hotel is in direct Universitätslage indicated Pfaffenwald beyond-good for jogging.

Former Telekom seminar hotel with rather little potential. The hotel is already getting old, which very clearly in the room, especially the beds, can see. The atmosphere in the dining room is also more like a cafeteria. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, there are nothing to complain about.

You should not expect luxury, but for a city break it is ideal. The hotel is located close to the university and has rather cafeteria/youth hostelcharacter. The meeting rooms are fine. The breakfast offered is relatively wide and varied, but you have to have cups, cutlery or milk organize yourself. The decor of the rooms is reminiscent of a hostel, cleanliness is however announced. Small repairs should be carried out. Good for people with allergies: there are no carpets!
Conclusion: for short get away or seminars in order; price performance ratio should be considered. read more

I chose this hotel, because it was very cheap (40 €during the week per day, booked in the internet) and nearby the airport stuttgart is. It was already early in the morning very good tram connections to the station in immediate Proximity of the hotel (university, a few meters away). The journey( without having to change) took about 17 minutes. In spite of very large and heavy bags I had no problems at all. I too got, since I had left before the breakfast times, a bag with sandwiches, fruit, sweets and drinks on the way. The rooms are for ... a few nights absolutely recommendable and sufficient. In the evening I could relax in the outdoor bistro restaurant was found to be good and reasonably priced. Overall I would recommend this hotel for over flight to stay or a city break and again and again book. read more

The hotel is designed for seminars. Front desk, as well as the seminar and the dining area is very good.
The rooms, however, have the Charme the seventies. The time has also come the furniture and the bath; the size of the room didn't correspond to the standard. Only plus is the t- Entertain -port with flat-screen, but the remote control-and without even nothing -leaves something to be desired. The key only worked sometimes, the labels are by abrasion little more readable.

The hotel is absolutely getting old and you can see, that for a long time nothing more invested was. In particular the rooms are in the style of the eighties and extremely small. Everything is completely lives. Especially the bathroom left a lot to be desired and is extremely small. At the Showers you have to be careful not making waves.
The restaurant is also not the highlight. The breakfast was ok and the lunch went Sunday selection is hardly available and not very good taste.

The hotel was by myself and as many others for a seminar inhabited. The hotel made a first impression spartan. Therefor it is all the more surprised, if you the complex more carefully. You can tell, that the hotel was for guests at the seminar is expected. But for nights to visit or transit through the city, it is in the best way suitably. The front desk is nice and helpful. The hotel is cold but very clean, I had a single room. Smoking rooms are not provided. The room room was small, but adequate and well equipped. The bathroom ... was very small. However, for the morning shower okay. Apart from that everything was available. Towels were changed every day. Hair dryer was available. Shower gel and sham pons, shoe horn, safe, internet, handkerchiefs, the baby products, the lens cleansers, shoe cleaner. Mini bar does not give it however.
In the middle the hotel has a small bistro with small meals on offer. Rates are fully in order, rather cheap. In the morning a breakfast buffet is offered, which is cover. Here, too, everything was available. Several menus for lunch and in the evening there is an 'all you can eat' buffet.
If I personally didn't, it was a soft mattress. But that was a matter of taste.

The comm undo hotel in stuttgart was perfect for a city visit to stuttgart or, for those-like me-on the through journey direction south switzerland is.
It is located in vaihingen, right next to the university. From the highway it is only three minutes away by car, in five minutes one is at the cross stuttgart, where you can drive in all directions.
A suburban train Stop is a three minute walk away, with the suburban train it is ten minutes in the centre Suttgarts, thus an ideal location.
I found the hotel twice at the weekends for a night visited. ... It was almost empty, there were hardly any guests. The conference at the weekends but itself. A night with breakfast in the single room has 44 euros on the internet. The price was only at the weekends, for a 3-four stars Hotel I think the cheap.
the rooms are sufficiently large, but no balcony. 1.40 meters wide which has the bed, for those who travel alone so nice and big. There is a small desk with multimedia tv. Also pay-tv-channels can be watched for free. Furthermore, each guest room comes with internet access (included). If you have a laptop, can surf the internet on the tv.
The bathroom is quite small, but completely audreichend.
The breakfast buffet was large, there is a good selection, different kinds of bread/bread rolls, jam, sausage, cheese and much more. Furthermore, there are various juices.
All self-service at the buffet, the restaurant itself seemed more like a canteen. You can also eat lunch/evening, but I did not used. There is also a bar.
For a short stay at the weekends the hotel is comm undo very recommendable, in the week it is because of the large number of meeting rooms certainly a completely different guest structure, rates will also be significantly higher. read more
