This hotel is always again worth a trip.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming but also elegantly and the staff are always always cared about one.
The christmas decoration is every year different, again and again a real eye opener and not tacky.
The food (4-courses menu in half board enth) Regionally, but not rustic.
All in all very recommendable. read more

We have stayed several times in this beautiful hotel been. The location is perfect and very idyllic location.
Until now we were only for skiing and therefore in the winter there. Now we had summer weather and could beautiful Eibsee than lake for swimming enjoy. On small beach were loungers sufficiently available, towels for reservation are not required. The lake is crystal clear.
The wellness area is sufficient, there were always enough relaxing loungers available. The sauna and the swimming pool were not crowded.
The front desk staff and the cleaners are absolutely great.
In the area of food was ... almost a complete change of the staff made. That was definitely not the advantage of the hotel. The new waiter are unfortunately ( still) not technically so experienced, so it took, respectively not correctly cleaned (wrong food, language barriers, no jurisdiction to the table, and so on). They were friendly, but there is something Ausbaupotenzial.
Altogether it is a very nice hotel and we will certainly visit again. read more

A outdated four star hotel with a wonderful location. Therefore the fine room price, the unfortunately also in the US booked room with the forest very steep was, although we would really in the deepest forest stared and at the same time under the Warenanliegerzone was, the regularly to loud disturbances led -unfortunately-. Apart from that, as mentioned the hotel lies wonderful on Eibsee with direct view of Zugspitze and also right next to the parking the Eibseebahn. The hotel is in a dream-like location. Five star. Food ( breakfast and dinner) 5 stars. Saved clearly at the staff. Little well trained staff, which the claim of the hotel do it justice. Here just 2 at best however three stars reached. The hotel works worn and needed. Furniture looked worn and tired. The spa area and the areas on the lake great. The hotel is the only on Eibsee. The view from the rooms to the sea side was uncomparably beautiful. We are only to the hotel for us a brochure for next year taking... From this there 5 nights. The parking spaces in front of the hotel are for the hotel guests free of charge. Guest structure was very mixed. Both conferences, as well as families and couple.
The night with half board 4 to five course menu in the evening offered. The whole hotel was always clean and well maintained. read more

We were just one night because of a wedding there. I can therefore only this snapshot rate. I rate only from room and breakfast. The wedding was brilliant (also from the hotel really well done).
My conclusion falls nevertheless rather something modestly from, as we on the day of arrival only at 15:00 could check in. Our room faced the inner courtyard ( kitchen, Delivery, trash cans) the furniture is also have already gotten very old. The breakfast was very well arranged and the service staff totally overwhelmed. It took forever, until you have dishes cleared, or the buffet ... ( the already very meagerly was) luxe.
The night was also everything but cheap. Price-performance. Well. The location in the mountains and on the lake is however brilliant. read more

Introdution: we are with the extremely positive reviews ( except location) very hard. We are often in 4-5 stars houses on the way, but the hotel is it nevertheless far away.
The hotel and the rooms / facilities are very outdated.
Room: floor coating is an old carpet with stains. The furniture is scuffed. The bathroom is with its shower curtain, the dirty/moldy joints and the loose mountings definitely not 4 stars. The balkonboden is bare concrete, the cushions and window frames were dirty, but the but really.

The swimming pool was ... unfortunately also dirty and in my opinion also too small. read more

Hotel lies directly on the Eibsee, at the foot of the Zugspitze. Circular route ( about 8.8 kilometer) leads around the lake. There are also possibilities oars respectively pedal boats to lend. We had the hotel for 2 nights included half board as a connecting station for a departure South booked. The food was after our opinion a bit too greasy ( meat). Some waiter left quickly distract and forgot then the guests. Nevertheless the hotel is as a connecting station recommendable. read more

Hotel in a beautiful location, the unfortunately in some respects needs to make up for lost ground. The cleaning staff seemed rather unmotivated. It was demonstrably 2 days in the room not vacuumed. The rooms are partly in need of renovation ( sloping wand hook etc.). Definitely only room with lake view, not room to the inner courtyard. Here show every day from 6 o'clock loudly deliveries by truck, the one from the sleep tear. The staff in the service area is sometimes disorganized and unhelpful. You can tell the people at, that they have no fun in their ... work and it was only a job to see. There is long waiting periods, dishes were partly nearly cold. Very annoying. Even more galling is, that we over a year here and these points at the front desk respectively with evaluation sheet mentioned, without that little has changed. The location is a dream, the hotel as four star hotel however only conditionally recommendable. read more

The front desk a test on solvency with deckungsabfrage the credit to.
This situation was very hurtful. A conversation on the day of departure the staff showed, that this test must, if guests for a spontaneous break in the Eibsee hotel decide. Furthermore he said, that it every year guests returns, which pay their bills and the hotel thus nothing but damage power. By the way, the deckungsanfrage my credit amounted to 0,01 Euro. Since this degrading treatment this employee our vacation tidy ... missed was, we chose our friends colleagues of a stay at this hotel
Not advised. Furthermore, we have our hotel bill pay in cash. read more

A really good hotel in a great location, rich breakfast buffet, WiFi free of charge.
We had our dog and also here there was no problem.
Very well us also the hotel's own beach much, there loungers, sun screens and even small boats free of charge made available.
We will definitely come back again and can the hotel riu palace Cabo San Lucas recommend. read more

We have a wonderful long weekend in the iceberg -hotel spend and will gladly come again.
Room:
We had the luck a renovated room to get (bathroom& carpet new ), the furniture is not so important for us. The rooms were cleaned daily and there was no reason for complaints.
Wellness:
A bit no for the number of guests. A great relaxation area inside and outside with views of the Eibsee and the mountains. The pool ( inside) is superfluous, since you didn't really swim with the size and depth. Is more like a wading pools for children. I would ... recommend this area rather to use the sauna area to expand.
Restaurant:
Super- the food really delicious and a wide selection. The tavern ( specialty restaurant) is totally cute and with class food and service. Really no reason to the complaint.
Service / staff:
First class-my compliments to the management for the Personalwahl. I rarely a hotel where the whole staff is friendly and helpful as in the Eibsee-hotel. A great team -every guest the feeling welcome and beautified the stay.
In short:
Nice hotel in excellent location with many possibilities for recreation if you the mountains and the water loves. The hotel is less pure wellness in the interior area suitable, however for those much in nature move is the sauna area wholeheartedly enough for relaxation. We super felt at ease and are definitely coming again. read more
