Our last night ( we were 10 days in Malaysia on the way) we stayed at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Kuantan booked. You like my, the Hyatt -chain that to a certain standard required. The reception was still warm, but when we the room ( point 2212) came, my hair properly set up. The room smelled musty, the window panes were completely fogged up and when I was in the bathroom was: oh my dear-the shower curtain was completely black ( mold!) and also the toilet seat was completely covered in mold stocked. In closer look at was the ... whole ceiling full of black Mold. I went to the front desk state, we do not in this room stay could. The lady said-we are after the lunch again come by, then have it if necessary a different room. Well-after lunch the lady was not there anymore. We got upgraded to a Regency club room-has naturally which cost. This room at least not mold infested, but the cleanliness also left to be. The whole complex is a pure disappointment and I would prefer in tent sleeping, as again a night to spend. Bewertung lesen

A hotel right next to the sea. The hotel consists of very lots of houses which near the zentralhaus beach chairs. Different pools, the sea invite to relax. The audience ranged from wealthy malays to european vacation-and business travelers. The rooms are fine and if the doors are closed beiebn the monkeys outside. It rains a - twice a day, as normal. I was with my boyfriend April 2011 and they could only advise you not to go there. It is not the guests expect! I thought this from Hyatt and it is always the Webseit of the hotel promises only the best and great pictures! We wanted to spend our trip to Malaysia as a week end at the Hyatt Regency Kuantan resort holidays and we were very pleased! Upon entering the room I was beaten back such a smell me! The room smelled extremely musty and like mildew and smelled, and looked at the ceiling in the room also the ... mold. Also on the balcony on the walls you could see the mold. We went to the reception and wanted a different room which we were told that the room we booked is not something free, otherwise, we would have higher category book cost more. It was always said 'plus plus'. We were a different room that the hotel was not convincing but also, and smelled bad. Finally, we went to the club where we wanted to use the Internet to look at ourselves in the Internet on the hotel's website with all room categories. Use of the Internet was denied by the staff, since we were not 'club' -had booked. A shame as we find! The staff showed us a room and expected us to what we all pay for a change. A room for 465 MYR per night we had booked, and would pay more 207,80 MYR if we wanted to upgrade to a club room. Since you couldn't more into the restaurant to eat at the buffet, but the club buffet satisfied with the stay otherwise it will cost extra! Plus plus as the staff goes. I heard only plus plus, plus, plus, I was extremely the joined even the DVD player we should pay, and that in a Hyatt hotel that there are five star rating. Finally, we took the room as it was after 10:00 P.M. and we eat and then wanted to sleep. This was our worst night we were in the whole three weeks Malaysia had! We had ants in the bed, no wonder the pillow was not white, but yellow, and at least since ten years must never be renovated. Dead roaches and bugs in the room and on the balcony, cigarette butts on the balcony floor, hair in all corners of the room. In the bathroom the fixtures were rusty, the paint was peeling off the ceiling of mold and it smelled very bad moldy and mold in the bathroom and in the room. We could see the mold on the walls and ceiling. You saw that the mold with the color was. The mattress was as hard as a rock and was filled with metal springs (like cheap motel). In the night we were bitten by mosquitos. Under the door there was a seven centimeter thick gap and from 5:00 in the morning we could not longer sleep because we could hear the crack the noise. In Eingasbereich of the hotel was loud music until late into the night with a disco was available for external people. The people came and went active, the lady looked as if they would come from the horizontal decorative arts. Peace and relaxation was impossible. The tv in the room should have 15 channels, we received three channels! During dinner in the restaurant we saw that the Chef de service in the work clothe-seated and drinks were consumed was playing with the mobile phone. Then he told an employee at the poor and packed. The staff were all very scared. Furthermore, the same staff are around 10:00 P.M. in the restaurant were the next morning at nine o'clock already been there again. No wonder no order run correctly. We checked out the next day since we expected better for the money and really need! Also, there is mould harmful! The hotel prides itself with five stars and great pictures on the Internet. The reality on the ground in Kuantan is quite different from! And that the rooms in a sorry condition. Moldy, smelly, dirty pillows and sheets. In the bathroom the fixtures were rusted and the ceiling was peeling. in the morning were a lot of white Fetzten the ceiling on the floor. There would be no reason to change the room because all of the rooms are old and mouldy! The hotel needs to renovate the rooms, the high rate is also justified! We complained after our return at Hyatt hotels and impeccably the money back for the night received. That speaks the irregularities that are known. Bewertung lesen

Hotel: the hotel is in dire need of a renovation: the furniture was chipped and, some doors not really help. Single room to be directed at the moment. The staff is but're busy and you can ask for a new room without any problems. Our first room had slight mold, was musty and the bathroom are peeling off the ceiling. The new room was still quite old, but otherwise OK. Beach: the beach is very beautiful and it almost has for you alone. The sea is very clean. Food: the food in the hotel was very good, as well as ... the breakfast. We have eaten but mainly outside of the hotel. There are food stalls with it a good selection of very good food. The hotel is for a short stay. Once all the room are newly renovated it has also again the standard of a Hyatt hotels Bewertung lesen

We were for three days in Kuantan/beach during a private tour business, the hotel and the whole area were very clean and well maintained, the room fully equipped, it are two pool areas, food is OK, but we prefer local vendors, in the immediate vicinity a few shopping possibilities, for a short stay highly recommend, for a longer stay, possibly something boring.
