Worst hotel our East -Canada round trip

The hotel is on the edge ottawa and has in my eyes the 4 stars are not deserved. We were as part of a Canada-round trip in this hotel for one night ( thank god not longer). We got a very run down room. The beds were worn out, the bed sheet had stains, the carpet also. Which absolutely annoying was, that as blanket only a Filzdecke gave. Also the room door lock not completely, so that there was always a gap of a half-centimeter the door was open. After communication of the Haußervices was the door at least again ... lock. In the bathroom was because of missing ventilation mold in the corners and apparently not visible corners in the room was the dust on the furniture. Because of the terribly noisy Brummens of the airconditioning we turned off after midnight, which in turn led, that it was very hot in the room was. The window was also the only a small gap be opened, so that this not really cooling has been achieved. The summit of the whole was however the breakfast. Since we travel group on the way were, we were in a separate room. It was at the same time another travel group at the breakfast, so that about 100 people at the same time supplies had to be. This can already times to smaller difficulties lead. Which I however the chimo experienced, is unfounded. The buffet was only after half an hour again filled up. It was missing of all: no jams, no toast, no coffee, no orange juice. There were employee locally, the present several times asked various things at the buffet again to fill up. But the people were initially busy the dirty dishes from the persons once, the lucky from the buffet still a bit got to have. There was people from our travel group, almost 20 minutes on your coffee had to wait. I am well aware, that hotels for guests, which in a group travel, not the normal price received. However, it cannot be the case, that you as a guest 2. class does. What we in the chimo experienced, was really from time to time the last. Through my many visits I have already some hotels experienced, but the. As of course travelers are treated, the individual journeys and, whether it is also acceptable room in this hotel gives, I cannot judge. In my eyes helps for this hotel only complete overhaul. read more

The hotel is located outside ottawa and is in general very neglected, the rooms are very dirty, the blankets have holes and cracks, the furniture for example stoffsessel at the armrest poorly repaired. The food in the restaurant very bad, the fries frittes tasted like fish. Itself the lifts were very dirty (cigarette butts on the carpet, not have been taken away ) breakfast minimalist and travel group in an unattractive meeting room in the basement. read more

    The ungepflegteste room, we have ever experienced. The carpet was stains and leftovers scattered (here was not cleaned at all), blankets with holes and cracks, furniture worn and dirty. Bathroom with mold. Air conditioning according to.

    Very bad food! The fries frittes tasted like fish and the meat was tough. The ceasars salad was just a little green salad, in mayonnaise sponge. The restaurant was not clean, the value for money not true.

    Staff at the reception was not very friendly, the room was not cleaned, the carpet with stains covered, leftovers on the floor, bathroom with mold. As we travel group traveling, we got the very dürfige breakfast in a meeting room in the basement serves, with very unfriendly service, the only coffee re-stocked.

    Outside of ottawa, in a indutriegebiet with small, unattractive shopping mall. You can in the evening nothing undertake. The steakhouse next door was from the outside in such a bad constructional condition and the entrance area so neglected, that we not make no mistake.

The hotel is in my opinion a bit getting old but it is all in the context. What I didn't like was the duvet cover. The staff is friendly and for a short stay the hotel was excellent. Good price-/ performance ratio. read more

The hotel is highly recommended for a round trip to stay. The rooms are well furnished, the two double beds are good. Unfortunately the totally dirty air conditioning was very noisy. cannot open windows, than ear plugs asked. The bedding is partly had holes in them. The bathroom is ok. You can enjoy the breakfast and the room is big enough. It is next to the famous sweet stuff and cheese egg and fried potatoes. The Serviererinnen are nice and responsive to requests. Next to the hotel is a large shopping street but a supermarket is not available. The hotel ... is located a few kilometers from the city center but good transport links. read more

This hotel is as a destination for kept sending, after a round trip, highly recommended. The bags arrived quickly to the room in which everything needed was available. The decor with 2 double beds, TV, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer and free internet access leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The restaurant menu is not as extensive but offered is very good and well worth the price.
