The criticism of some other guests i can't understand. Sometimes i think i was in another hotel. By the low (maximally 4 floors) construction-shaped is the main building between the palms hardly to see. The house is not new, but for cuban standards (we had a tour of Cuba with miserable hotels) Super. The rooms clean and tidy and everything worked. The service staff all very nice and attentive. If you address you friendly, no matter in english or a few words in spanish one gets everything will be charged even without giving any tip. The majority of the guests ... came from Argentina and Chile. Some from Canada and very few from Russia and Germany. read more

    The size of the rooms, the toilet and bath is european standards and were not new but always clean and pleasant. 10000 kilometer from Germany you can like everywhere on the world be glad if one notices the german wave can see. This was always possible on the flat screen tv.

    We have always quickly found a spot we could choose. The service came immediately and asked for orders, which were promptly dealt with. It was refilled as soon as the glasses/cups were empty until closing. If the operation a smile according smile you back and you will on the next day immediately greeted friendly. The food is local less seasoned and lukewarm, so colder than we are used to it. The buffet offers for each taste something and a huge variety of food. We were even without giving any tip super service! The quality the cocktails is strongly from the bartender from. With a friendly word does not exist only at the lobby bars the drinks delicious. Sponst there are only filling from the zapfahn.

    We have not a single unfriendly employee found. With a few words in spanish and english we were all questions and needs. The room was always clean and the towels daily new animals formed. A fresh bottle of water was available daily.

    We didn't take advantage of the leisure activities on offer, we were greeted by the entertainers however also not forced. Since we only at the beach were, we also always covered are found, the somewhat more comfortable than the pure plastic beach chairs were.     We lived in the main building. The few steps to the restaurant, pool and beach are pleasant. Recommendable is a ride with the tourist bus to 5 cuc for the entire day. The stops directly in front of dr door. Airport is only 30 minutes away, which is at the airport it takes still long with the usual chaos.

We were after a week Cuba-round trip still 2 weeks in the sol palmeras and are following criticisms follow or complement: tips as exorbitant additional costs! We have it partly directly as pure rip-off was felt. - the 'mass processing', partially probably because of the size of the hotel did not please us. – The food was although it is very varied, but for us it was not a 'taste experience' still were the dishes nicely arranged. - besides often only lukewarm. From a 4 star hotel, we are there completely different stayed. Fom the theme restaurants we have three ... visited. We were both from the chinese, as well as the steakhouse very dissapointed. With the chinese we not taste good at all, and the steakhouse was the steak thin, tough and tasteless-the italian restaurant was a ray of hope the food was surprisingly good and it was very stylish, - the premises were very well maintained and the atmosphere excellent. - the fish restaurant we didn't visit. To the drinks: at the bars there were a great variety alcoholic drinks, also to cocktails. We noticed, that spanish speaking guests preferred were served. As it is very often happened, that you in a queue and a newly joining spanish speaking guest was first served! With our room on the 1. floor in the main building we were the location, the size and the furniture was good-it was the penultimate at the end the blocks and had a view of the palm trees and the pool. – every day it was cleaned and if necessary also there was always fresh bath - or towels. Some drawbacks concerning cleanliness were not so serious, as we here complain therto. Fom the neighboring rooms we have heard nothing-but the deafening loud music in all areas (also pool area, beach and the events) very disturbed. – only at night starting from about 2 hours until 10 in the morning hours it was quiet! The beach was beautiful, - it was cleaned every morning. Loungers were both by the pool like also at the beach many, - unfortunately were already in the morning very early in the morning the 'loungers beleger' on the way. – we have therefore often in the beach area no chairs find it anymore. Excursions we have the travel guide -since everything in state hands, there was no other possibility, which we regretted very much. – the excursions were well organized but also here mass processing and trinkgeldmäßig must of course also everything to be served! To sum up, we can the criticisms and be not stay at this hotel again and also not recommend! read more

The hotel you can not recommend. For me, this was the largest case of pure which i experienced. So what 4 stars gets for me is questionable. read more

In the spacious lobby you in a friendly way, the check in in a few minutes, but we found the daily loud live music from 18 hours unpleasant. We had one of the 200 bungalows and were round around content, very clean and for our standards more than adequate. In the hotel were i guess all ages and nationalities. It is at least. No bad noticed! Free wi-fi for a fee! read more

    Large bungalow suite (honeymoon-suite) with living room and separate bedroom, bath and freilanddusche available, furniture were all intact, furniture comfortable. Air conditioning available, coffee maker and mini-bar also. Every day there was a large bottle of water for traveling. Toilet was clean, but strange accommodated, since the toilet only wooden beams and a glass-topped was (toilet was separate from the bathroom)! But you can get used to it!

    Wide choice of theme restaurants, but we have only the italians' o sole mio ' use. Everything, live music and music request, several appetizers... In the main restaurant wide choice at meals, especially tasty were the fischspezialititäten, the fresh from the refrigerator and before your eyes be prepared! Otherwise, national and international dishes. It was clean, there was also always a cleaning lady in the corner in leaving the table always clean.

    We have good experiences, there is friendly service in the main restaurant and of the lobby, the you also without tips cocktails brought. Understand you could also without words, but also some english and could speak german. The cleaning of the rooms took place almost always at the same time and thorough. Doctor or complaints we had thankfully not to visit or liquidate!

    We can only the beach evaluate : great beach, the cleaned daily will, chairs are sufficiently available ( we are late sleepers and always got one) and the towel service folded without any problems. You can also somewhat remote from the beach the loungers protraction, where is quieter! Oh, bikes we have lent (is in all-inclusive also included) and were sparsely equipped but nevertheless for a trip to Varadero enough!

    To the beach we had about 1 minute walk and to the main house about 3 minutes the paths are because of the bungalows a bit winding designed, makes the walk but not boring! Airport is about half an hour away. By bus Varadero-beach tour for 5 cuc the whole day from 9:00 until 9:00 p. m. around and in Varadero drive and then right again to the hotel. Was great! The shopping center Plaza america can you also with the bus. Otherwise also vintage taxis available the daily the hotel their service to offer! You have to try!

The hotel is in a rather outdated state. Large area with beautiful foliage. Very long distances in the entire property. (distance our bungalow/main building about 1 kilometer). Very lots of russians in the hotel, the all inclusive very seriously and also everywhere and noisy celebrations. Service and staff we can unfortunately only with grade 6 rate. That was mass processing, hardly anyone was for the individual guests and without a tip only very rarely moves. 'sonderwünsche' could never be realized. On the contrary, here one was partly correctly 'weak' addressed. This is really justified, i was on vacation ill and ... on a support from the hotel rely on. Unfortunately none of my special requests for example exceptionally food supplied to get, to be implemented. read more

Actually all inclusive - hotel. So after shopping options to neglect. Quality and variety the food was gigantic. Theme restaurants the ambience very nice, but widely varying quality of the dishes: seafood and italian very good, the rest... Absolutely annoying: everything stands and falls with the giving tip. All the staff, from the maids to the badehandtuchwechsler, the bar staff to frühstückseierbäcker expect tip. Without cuc's the practicalness never from. All inclusive is so slippery to forget! Trinkgeldmäßig must everything be served-and of course every time. read more

I have prior to here on holiday check about this hotel informed and the positive impressions which the eating and drinking regards not confirm or understand. We have all restaurants which one prior to must book try. The chinese and the italian restaurant were ok, the steakhouse and mexican restaurant, underground. Also the main restaurant had always a large selection of different dishes, also grills, unfortunately but mostly bad, tough quality of meat or staff which it wrong prepared or, niedergebraten has. The bottom line, for us it was unfortunately no 'taste experience' as you go on vacation would wish ... for. The drinks are but unfortunately the disappointing: The beer subject to serious chargenschwankungen, exactly like the orange juice in the morning for breakfast! The wine red and white was not for us drinkable, we remedied in the us in the restaurant flascheinweine bought and d the beer we from the supermarket in/out privileges. Our room was on the 1. floor and as you from other reviews can read, i can confirm, that one the neighbours the next 6-8 rooms with the coming home in the evening hear very clearly and the doors unfortunately always were slammed as this all terminals. This didn't bother us, as i many a time later came home. We always 2 cuc the maids (jani) and it was always ip top cleaned and clean. The rooms are unfortunately very old and the door frame in the bathroom was by the water which it bath tub sprayed abgefault. Our summary: The staff made only the impression to be nice if one 1-2 cuc jump left, really. For example beach bar, eisverkäuferin, hamburgerbräterin in beach bar and so on. As you get your money!-) The lack of interest the most fully experienced and don't even try to hide. Of course, there are exceptions, but unfortunately only a few. Also the hotel is too large and impersonal. The food bad mit long waiting periods and simple again and again a reason itself either to annoy or head to shake. Although the beach wonderful was the whole concept and the value for money in any shape zusammegepasst and therefore we will not stay at this hotel again and it not recommend! read more

Everyone has other expectations at your vacation. There are the wide range of people to a certain time at the same place. We had a great time in 2 bungalows. We will be next return. The food was alternating and the people cooperative. Perhaps some should only in countries whose language they speak. It depends, as one on someone to go. read more

Dream vacation in the very good hotel with dream beach. Recommendation 100%! For our vacation i here about the hotel informed. I had more often read, that the rooms and the food not so great should be. I cannot disagree with only. Had a double room on the 4. floor in the main building. The was perfect. Of other vacation guests there were however negative reports on the standard bungalows. However offers you (if you complained ) a room in the main building at, what the guests then also satisfied What the food in the subject, i can't complain. There ... is a main restaurant and 5 topics restaurants where you to register food. In the main restaurant the selection was large, furthermore there are 4 (grill) stations, the a the food directly in front of the own eyes making facilities. I can only recommend. Delicious! What the theme restaurants subject: we were in steckhaus (good) and mexican (very good) food. The hotel complex is with its main building and the bungalow complex almost a small village, by which constantly a small small railroad goes for the guests from a to b to send. Very good. Of course lots of guests there. You can however your peace have. Depending on how you want to. You can count on 100% and in the middle in it. Or you do your own thing and remain anonymous. Pool is very beautifully built. Unfortunately we didn't only time. Sea and beach are gigantic, va the many palm trees make the Carribean like perfect. Tip: a strandsparziergang in every direction is worthwhile! Excursions many offered. We have a trip to Havanna to 6 included driver and tour operator in a classic cars made. The was perfect. The trip will be itself as' mass tourism ' in the bus fom the tour operators offered. Explicitly the oldtimer tour (if necessary also front desk) questions. Costs 200 cuc for all persons. The trip to bus costs 100 cuc per person. So if you to 4 in the classic cars is one drives a lot cheaper and more fun! With the tour operator we did the tour to the Cayo Blanco island with catamaran included snorkeling and delfinstreicheln booked. Was a great great trip! In any case make! Against a small tip let us the delfiontrainer with dolphin swimming, what my absolute dream was. Dauergrinsen guaranteed \u263a What tips concerns. The are gladly seen. It is but also without. However you should always in the back of their minds, that Cuba really a very poor country. You buy you in Germany so many things and give so fast money, you can quiet times which jump. We live at least in luxury. Charwomen prefer. The bulk of the work and the worst paid. They thank you most! Which super good arrives. Small soaps or lighter give away. At the best ones in Havanna. There are enough people to the beg! Cuba is in any case worth a trip! And in the Hotel Sol palmeras, this Karibik dream the more effortless. read more

I can partly most people here not understand. I do not know, why most people so crab and the cleanliness, food, room, area, etc. So complain. The hotel is already a bit old and for certain things already in need of renovation, but that is why it is not just bad or not recommendable. You can directly in front of the booking information. If you don't do this, is your own fault. Definitely we were always thrilled by this hotel. We have also, of course, our demands, but the standard in Cuba not with the standard in Austria or Germany ... compare. For Cuba is this hotel anyway already luxury, at all in comparison to other hotels, which we regarded. I was quite surprised on the cleanliness and cleanliness of the hotel.     The rooms were as already mentioned 'normal' -large. The bathroom was also very spacious and stone (similar marble). It was always cleaned well and great figures with the towels. As thanks we had the cleaning lady (was always the same) on the last day 3 cuc on the bed, it was exceptional and put us a fresh bouquet of flowers in a vase and put pretentious towel figures (branched swans ) into the bathroom. We were simply amazed ☺ a large plus! Every room had a tv, air conditioning, minibar, kettle, coffee and a telephone. The tv channels were mainly spanish and english. A single german channels: the Deutsche Welle. But it didn't bother us, we were not there to watch tv. ☺ the toilet and the bathtub were always top cleaned and kept clean,

    There was 1 main restaurant (all-you-can-eat), 1 fish restaurant 'el marino', 1 steakhouse restaurant, 1 chinese restaurant and the beach bar from 12 hours (here gave it at noon always hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, toasts, vegetables, fruit, salads etc.). Drinks always and everywhere get, no matter wether in the hotel near of the lobby-bar, in of the pool bar or the beach bar. The cleanliness in the restaurants were also fully alright, one couldn't complain. It is clear, if the main restaurant in the evening was full, and before you even if you from the table and went, that the table with the leftovers tidy was. The eliminated but the waiters immediately and put the fresh tablecloths and cutlery on. The food was very international. There was a lot of english (in the morning baked beans, fries, meatballs, etc.) And american food (pan-cakes, sweet cakes, steaks and burgers etc.) , but also normal european cuisine, as you with us know (for example cream soups, lots of different fish preparations, Gulasch, rice (also risotto), päla, covers uncooked vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, kartotten etc.) , pizza slices, lots of pastry (dark and light bread), fried & scrambled eggs (especially in the early delicious). The only what they had and what i wonder, was jam. The they knew not. They had only jelly artiges, but it tasted horrible.

    The staff was mostly very friendly and courteous. If you needed anything, it was taken care of (without tips!) That is why i think it is nonsense, what most people here on the tips of letter. That is not true. Before we this hotel booked, i was here on holiday check. at beforehand and reasonably research, what i could. I have, of course, all without a tip propiert. And see since... It worked perfect! And if someone else really problems with the service and tip, it had to be, then it will certainly other reasons had, as for example nitpicking, sustained complain, complaints etc.. To the fremdsprachenkenntnissen of the staff: this can almost only spanish and english. Besides the entertainers and in the restaurants, the can also speak german, some very good indeed! Very good was the mini club loved it, they made with the kids every day something else and very sweet things like for example disguise (the was very sweet, all children were disguised by the hotel complex and showed pride their costumes and the food at lunch sat 10 disguised children at a table), baking, competitions, etc. About the handling of complaints i can say unfortunately nothing, since we not necessary was, to complain, it was great.

    Leisure facilities there was a lot of. You could rent bicycles and mopeds in the hotel borrow, the entertainment was more than adequate (partly nearly too much and too loud), at the beach there was every morning gymnastic (also in the sea), Volleyball-tournament, catamaran drive, free trestboote borrow, trampoline-jump in the sea etc. By the pool there is always some water sports activities (for example water polo, diving course), latin american dance classes daily from 3:30 p. m. by the pool, around 15 hours bingo by the pool (first prize: 1 coffee pot). Umbrellas and beach chairs were always free. At the beach you should still its reserve chairs, as you after the breakfast otherwise no more free beach chairs got. Shower could at the beach, as well as by the pool anytime. Every evening there was in the hotel very much entertainment (for example singer/inside, wasserballett by the pool, a small circus by the pool with dogs, pony, monkey, snake and crocodile, disco from 22 hours at the fun club in the hotel, open-air theatre to the hotel, every friday from 21 hours disco at the beach) really great programs!

    I can partly most people here not understand. I do not know, why most people so crab and the cleanliness, food, room, area, etc.. So complain. The hotel is already a bit old and for certain things already in need of renovation, but that is why it is not just bad or not recommendable. You can directly in front of the booking information. If you don't do this, is your own fault. Definitely we were always thrilled by this hotel. We have also, of course, our demands, but the standard in Cuba not with the standard in Austria or Germany compare.     The hotel is directly at the white fine sandy beach. You hardly 1 minute to the sea. We could a nice & pleasant holiday. The walls the room however, they are very thin, you can hear the guests at night, if you 'come home' & the quite loud, but however the hotel nothing. The food has we personally didn't like the food, no seasoning-nothing. Perhaps it is the but also, because many nationalities there meet and not all of them have the same season, i didn't know what. The staff are friendly & courteous (even more, if one daily something 'toll' paid \u263a. The hotel/the rooms are daily perfectly cleaned-without criticism. You should 4 stars in Cuba ..., not 4 stars in Europa compare, that is clear. But the cubans were constantly at work, quite no matter wether lawn care, wall plug up, floor scrubbing-they try everything around the hotel in shot to be held. Conclusion: i should again to Cuba fly, i would have not a problem me again in this hotel contradiction. read more

Can recommend this hotel. With gently sloping sandy beach as a beach holiday suitable and recommendable also with children. Food was good and the people, that about the food complaints should in Germany have a vacation or 6 star hotel. Staff were everywhere very friendly. Hand/bath towels were changed every day and the rooms were cleaned daily. Our guide Alfredo (hr. Jose Alfredo fernandez) from its-travel speaks good german and is very competent, gave us good advice on behaviour and excursions available. Also up to the takeoff companioning. In the hotel can circa 20% from the staff german, speak otherwise ... spanish and english. Also wanted to here me with its travel thanks, since the service simply good. read more

    We had the following rooms: Bungalow best price (buz1), air conditioning, terrace, shower, toilet, hair dryer, safety deposit box, refrigerator (no mini bar every day 1l of water), coffee maker, tv (only 1 deutschsprechiger channels available ZDF), french bed. Like the rooms right at the hotel are i don't know, i can give you a bungalow. With the exception of the bathroom everything is in good condition.

    It has a buffet restaurant and several theme restaurants (mexican/steakhouse/italian/seafood & chinese). The theme restaurants you have to specifically reserve from morning 10:00 a. m. entrance lobby on the left-hand side at the back sits a nice lady on the computer and reserved the seats in the respective restaurants. With my photos, you will see various menus of the highest quality. The food in buffet is very good, after 2 weeks one but it also seen. The mexican & steakhouse restaurant were our favorites. Gratuities 1-2 Peso convertible appropriate. A pool bar there is also 'Mojito bar' unfortunately was very often the order Mojito not to be found (it was called always they had no mint). The beverages in white plastic cup served, am from other hotels glasses or beautiful mehrwertbecher used.

    The entertainment team was very good. Evening program really great like for instance the cuban evening or synchronised swimmming in the pool. The beach was also nice but we had very strong wind at the sea but this was in the months november-april normal. Therefore high waves. Beach chairs were at the sea enough available. Then it 2 pools & 1 children's pool. The 2 pools were always very clean. Beach chairs by the pool i would recommend by 09:30 a. m. to reserve otherwise it could be that no chairs more are available. Umbrellas are not available by the pool. There were showers at the sea as well as by the pool. Towels without fee. Sport & fitness: bicycle rental, table tennis, catamaran, snorkelling, diving, pedalo everything free of charge.

    Next to beautiful beach las americas in Varadero. To the airport it is about 45 minutes (about 50 kilometer). The next town centre Varadero in 10 minutes distance. On foot you reached a shopping center on Plaza america (at the end the bungalow area. Desk there are a lot of like for instance (catamaran including swim with the dolphins and trip on an island, Havanna trip. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop available for normal buses and the buses for city tours (red buses).

It was a really great vacation where nothing was missing. To meals finds to each something. There is a wide selection. Next to the rich (however often only lukewarm) buffet there was also freshly prepared pasta, meat and fish. To the variety with reservation (2 days in advance ) in one of the à la carte restaurant eat. The fish restaurant el marino is very recommendable. The steakhouse, as well as the italian are average. Besides there is still a mexican restaurant and a chinese the we however not visited. We had a room in the main house booked, at ... the check-in was a bungalow allocated. We were not right on the hotel, but had about 5 minutes walk, but the large and the equipment of the bungalows made up. Every day fresh towels and a bottle of water belonged to. The cleaning ladies were grateful to have a small tip. Can but also on pens, blocks, shower gel and so on the maid gave us a letter, whether we are not our sun screen leave out may. These are very expensive and it would be pleased. The beach was always clean and everyone has a space with couch and sun screen found. The 'main' was mostly loud music and it has often entertainment program offered. If you don't want to as we and your peace to have wanted, had only a few meters continue. There was less going on there and it was quiet. Excursions were directly from the tour operator offered. With this you will learn a lot about the country and people know.
