The hotel has a great location and easy access to all activities in bad hofgastein, unfortunately is however the staff at reception, as well as in the restaurant very unfriendly, inflexible and sometimes even arrogant the guest opposite. The food in the restaurant for the hotel guests (the food included in the price have) we found (my family and i) very bad. No taste, usually warmed up even if you püntklich around 18:00 for dinner appears. The times of the dinner 18-19:30 are strictly observed who also only around 19:35 in the restaurant is gets nothing more ..., even at 19:30 vituperates the waitress at-' but they are already very late! ' - there is nothing flexibility with the menus. The salad buffet is always the same and salad from the can or from the glass-not fresh. The beautiful renovated restaurant is for guests from the 'street' or à la carte -guests reserved and saved, the hotel guests in a uncomfortable backroom placed. You have the feeling they want to see as soon as possible get rid. Like mass processing. Our shortest dinner has 25 mins (with salad buffet, soup main course and dessert!). You get the main course already while you are still in the soup is and so on The rooms are very different, the single rooms are very small and cramped. My bed had a broken slatted frame and was wrong-i am at night constantly to the right rausgerollt -when i complained i was told this was impossible the bed crooked is. The bathrooms are so small and complicated, that you are on the washbasin pushing past to on the toilet (with this black cheap klobrillendeckel equipped from schools and public upmarket knows) to come. The showers have a low entrance but a shower curtain, as soon as the water runs, the full bathroom impregnated. The lift starts only from the first halbstock and the ski and ski boot storage room, is also on the first floor - at out to go you have a steep, iced over metalltreppe go down, the one with the boots hardly rise. The ski room itself is very small, hardly 3 people have at the same time in it place. The car you can't in front of the hotel guest parking, because it in the pedestrian area from gastein is, therefore we should a parking space in the garage get, the garage was however full so we had to leave for a ungeräumten parking lot, about one kilometer from the hotel parking. Not only we are partly on the parking stuck and had to be, since the snow and ice were not eliminated. Then you can still 3 Euro per day for this great parking pay. Good is the ski bus directly in front of the hotel leaves. All together however unfortunately an absolute letdown. read more

The hotel is a building central in the pedestrian area located. Of mühlenbach leads through the site and at the hotel past. The persons, the mühlenbach than obtrusive, should also no sea view on the Mediterranean, book, because the sea has the same background noise. The hotel room will gradually renovated. Our room had already LCD tv, new furniture (the double bed had the Standardmaß of 1.80 meters). The bathroom was newly tiled and the shower had a acrylic shower cabin. Structurally conditionally was the bathroom however small but perfectly adequate and the three stars standard adequate. The dinner ... was tasted very good and varied. For breakfast there was tasted good filter coffee in pot with Nachordermöglichkeit. The breakfast buffet was for the price adequate (4 types of sausage, eggs, cheese, Butter and a muesli- Quark buffet). The all inclusive guests were directed, only the lounge to use it. The dining room was comfortably furnished (with barbicans in the public restaurant). Beer and wine were on request without restriction to the all inclusive Times enough. I would ask you to bear in mind, that we per person at the travel agency 44 Euro per day and person for the all inclusive performance in the double room paid. This was good value for money. In the town itself is however inflation broken. Overnight stay with breakfast guests shall be provided, that no dinner below the 11 Euro Border is. A half liter beer is not under 3,80 Euro to get. Bad-Gastein thermal bath, the only public indoor pool, costs at least circa 20 Euro entry per bath day. Bad Gastein sommercard is very limited discounts on the public leisure facilities. Merely for the use of the post buses is the map recommendable. Please note, that on Saturdays and Sundays only reduced Postbusbetrieb is. Due to the limited space available for the obviouslythey, which is the main source of income for the hotel mind, was all inclusive not in the public restaurant ( the pure stay without pay Getränkeorderung ) not possible. Very old hotel with imperfect service. Parking spaces there is only at a charge. Food very poor, and little choice ( salad buffet! With 3 types of salad). The boss and your daughter are at the front desk so unfriendly. At the breakfast buffet is no more ham and cheese presented the plates almost always are empty. On demand will said the per person is placed. The gastein card included is consists of reductions in centbereich and 3 €discounts for the funicular railways. ( example Zeller card and dachstein card here are all trains free) read more

    The size of the room is ok. The furnishing is very spartan. The curtains could once again be washed. On the carpet and the sofa were dirty spots. Probably wist a basic cleaning necessarily. The tv has already better days experienced. See how long the picture tube with power. In the bathroom there is a socket but it was without electricity. Thus was shave and dryed not possible and had to in the room done.

    All inclusive - can one forget. That was a mass processing, worse as in a cafeteria with service, especially during dinner. The food has good, but could of all, just a little cooking can also at home be prepared -0 8 15. The daily announced salad buffet was the absolute lacher -1 bowl of salad leaves, 1 bowl gherkins- or mushy bean salad, 1 bowl sausage salad or beetroot. And most quite tight. The essenportionen were not plentiful. As water were glaskrüge with delicious tap water is required. Within half an hour the food was taken care of. For breakfast there was a maximum of 3 types of sausage and 1 sort cheese. Wholemeal bread was scarce-here you had to one of the first at the buffet his. Since we were already for breakfast had to opt, whether we in the afternoon a coffee want, we had to even (, although all inclusive) our afternoon coffee pay ( we were on our hike too quickly and short after: o'clock again and had not for coffee reported). Afterwards we avoided too early back and on the way coffee drunk. In the hotel to available drinks and food were not allowed with to the room to be taken. So we had to us with mineral water fit also evenings respectively at night something drink and our medicine down to flush - Billa thank heavens.

    The scenery is very nice. Hikes in the area from light to very difficult because of possible. Because of of the very good transport is also the transport to other starting points for walks or similar always possible. Recommendable is the visit to the schlossalm-a great view. The trail is easy to walk and not trained hikers to manage. The mountains are gigantic. Nice wärees, if already in the hotel recommendations for walks be.

Spacious single room, big balcony, great location, good food, very nice service, uncomplicated check in, check out, parking not directly at the hotel the hotel is perfect for this in the pedestrian area, somewhat older interior is however obviously reconditioned, not accessible for disabled people. read more

The hotel is altogether in a very bad and shabby state. The cleaning ladies afford surprising good work, this poor condition. Reasonably clean to keep. Under' rich breakfast buffet' you something else for. Was not the first at the breakfast, this was already very poor and you had to all things nachordern. You had the feeling, that the staff ordered, not too much to holidaymakers. There is a very subdued and uncomfortable atmosphere, you had the feeling a mass processing. read more

    We had a family room (1 double room + 1 single room with extra bed) booked. The double room was so small, that not even a full bed fit inside. We had to us with a bed of 1.40 meters (we have checked) content! You not as a double room rent! After showering we had flooding in the bathroom, since the shower also only 70 times 70 centimeter was ( luckily we are slim) and the shower curtain not fully close. Accordingly is the condition in the bathroom, as everything was wet and damp (no abluftgeblässe available), are everywhere humidity stains, partly the tiles moldy. The furniture is old and do not fit together. There was on the whole room only 3 electrical outlets (1 tv, 2 for bedside lamps) the electrical outlet in the bathroom worked only for razors, not for the hair dryer. That means we have an extension and had to blow-dry the bedside lamp unplugging, so that we have the hair dryer to mirror came. The curtains were partly from the rings torn, which the optical well-being furthermore still negatively affected. The curtain rod even hung crooked on the wall.

Outside Hui, inside yuck! So the hotel need a urgently complete overhaul! The rooms are totally out of date, in the bathroom 3 different tiles and no shower stall, but a totally moldy shower curtain. The joints in the tiles totally moldy! No outlet in the bathroom, but only in the foyer, there was only a small mirror for dryed! So 3 nights you can bear it, but for a room price of 40,- Euro in any case too expensive! Also at the front desk ( think, that was the boss personally) left the friendliness a lot to be ... desired! In the entrance area just a 'aquarium' for the verspeisenden trout, the pure animal cruelty! It belongs to prohibited. The fish waiting for the only highlight of their lives and that is caught in the pan to come. read more

Hotel Salzburgerhof is a perfect place for people who want to rest. It's perfectly located, it's close both to shops and to mountain trails. The service is very nice and it is not a problem to communicate in English. The food was really good. Rooms are not perfect, our one was rather small and the furniture was not new, but everything was clean. We liked the balcony very much! And seeing the practising firemen was fun) All in all, the rooms do need renovation, but we didn't come to Bad Hofgastein to stay inside.) I strongly recommend the ... hotel! read more

I was 21 days to free heilkur in the bathroom Bad Gastein ' healing radon galleries. The Salzburger Hof in bad hofgastein was I Time in a single room at our own expense untergegracht and catered for. I was with all very satisfied. If I were to return a cure in the gasteiner heilstollen need I will stay at the salzburgerhof is. The value for money is also available for normal vacation highly recommendable. read more

We have in this hotel three very nice days. All of the staff are especially friendly and helpful. The booking was very smooth and already the first telephone call with the front desk was so friendly, so that we are really heading towards the hiking days in bad hofgastein was pleased. read more

The hotel is from the infrastructure partly in need of renovation (apparently renovated). Furniture in the room and lounges (inclusive guestrooms) partially new. The general State is for a three-star hotel adequate to very good. Food is sufficient and good. Also very many shoudl rather wave away dinner guests from abroad, what a fine cuisine speaks. The using different ingredients the food is, but salt and pepper are concerned, rather than neutral by Franziska. Can the customer even at the table catch up, if necessary. Parking externally, but only about one hundred meters away. Parking convenient. The unloading and loading ... of the cars before the main entrance driven. Friendly staff. In the rooms are double doors to the hallway. Lift available, however must a halbstock upward or downward be formulated. For a spa essentially a good value for money. Health resort in the vicinity of the hotel (cIRCA 150 meters). I personally was very content and again would book this hotel. read more

The hotel management and the employees were very hard, that we feel comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were the category accordingly very well. The location is very good, because the alpentherme spa centre in 3 minutes on foot reachable and the ski bus stop right in front of the hotel is. read more

Our 4 gliedere family spent 4 days in 2 double rooms. We were here schizulaufen. Ski bus owner practically in front of the front desk, so the connection to the slopes is very good. Everything OK! read more

The common room with internet portal (wlan) may not be used - why amongst others all the guests with your computer's on the stairs sit, since in the rooms no wi-fi is. Also from 22 o'clock the attached restaurant ... consistently locked and from then you don't have the possibility comfortable and together to spend the evening-the common room could yes not be used.
