Actually, there was only one thing to say : 'everything great', but that was enough at an evaluation of course not from ☺ Very nicely laid out area with many flowers, trees, palms, lawns... The size of the area it is only when the food to, if you lots of people sees. Beautiful, large, partly renovated rooms with a garden- or sea view. Several swimming pools ; fantastic beach with many beach chairs. Half or full board possible; in the afternoon coffee and cake for all. Midday snack on the beach for a fee possible. read more

    We had premium rooms with a direct view of the beach and the indian ocean - wonderful! Room with a balcony (attention-sometimes you can get on the balcony visit of the apes) large and bright. Double bed just perfect - not too hard and not too soft. Air conditioning and fan available and good. Bathroom big enough - unfortunately without air conditioning. Closet large enough for all things. Desk, small table and chairs (also on the balcony). Free safe in the closet. Tv available. The premium rooms were probably in 2012 renovated.

    Main restaurant for breakfast and dinner on each 2. day well, adequate and everything very clean and fresh. Breakfast: sausage, cheese, fruit (freshly cut), eggs/omelet (freshly prepared), bread, toast, yogurt, cereals, juices, tea, coffee, etc... Everything available. Dinner: daily changing once in the restaurant, where breakfast is served and once in the garden of the clubs. In the restaurant always a 'served dinner' with various appetizers and selection of two served courses plus dessert. Salad, some mains and dessert (plus fruit) also as a buffet available. In the garden always very umgangreiches and varied buffet. Lunch in the restaurant (with full board) or at a charge at the beach bar possible. We didn't use, so no information possible. In the afternoon (16-17 hours) for all coffee and cake. Be careful... Sometimes the monkeys and steal the cakes from the plates ☺

    Consistently all very friendly - you will always and everywhere with a 'jambo' (hello) and asked, if everything is ok. English and partly german of all (from the horticulturist over the front desk to the waiter) available. Room cleaning good.

    Several pools, the kept clean. Enough chairs with cushions and umbrellas at the pools available. Towels also abundant and interchangeable. Showers were available. Entertainment find recently in (was probably no previous season?) , so i can't comment on that-however nothing were missing.

    Airport Mombasa in about 1 hour to reach (on the inevitable likoni ferry). Directly at the beach. On the rock, that means to the beach one must a way down. Various shopping possibilities-either on foot or for example with the buses ( matatus ) or tuk tuk distance.

Unique location cottages the white sandy beach. But many brown algae both at the beach as well as on the sea. The beach boys are rather still intrusive and on the few verbliebenenen tourists. A short two hour walk at the sea along the north to the river congo is with these rikschas were heaven an experience. The locals warn against a crossing of the river. The friendliness and attention of the staff is very good, since one comes gladly again. Only where the guests? 2013 there were so few, that one bustani and hotel zusammlegen had. We enjoyed the ... evening atmosphere in the bustani. Since four years we have a room in the block c and d, the surcharge is worthwhile. The rooms are newly renovated and the morning view from the bed the sea is second to none! And if an investor finds, the leisure lodge back to its old glory, then also the guests again. And pango bar should again diskobetrieb prevail, it will be evening varied. And the prices at the newly renovated Coral Bar should the level of three years ago! read more

    Recommend the a bit more expensive and renovated rooms in the block c and d. Once again, we were with the room, the cleanliness, the service completely satisfied. Air conditioning system one night aus, were however immediately repaired. Safe is easy to operate. Flat screen tv, but one receives ZDF.

    In january 2013 were very few guests in the hotel, so that alternately in bustani and then again in the hotel ate. A great shame, that the popular terrace for dinner conspicuous by their absence was, it seemed hopeless, unfortunately. The food in bustani was a class better than in the hotel, other highlights include the pasta. In the hotel each 2. day the food served to the table-table d'hotel, it was but also buffet. You always find something, the one tastes. The separation in smoking and nichtraucherabteilungen should be repealed, it should only nichtraucherabteilungen soutenant. In the airplane, the people 8 hours without cigarettes ', why can the smokers not an hour during dinner bear? Furthermore, it seems to me an extreme risk to exist, the schilfgedeckte roof by flying sparks only too easily in the fire.

    Friendly and attentive staff, you feel with friends and comes gladly again. English is of course, german more and more in fashion, with all the germans and schweitzerischen guests no wonder. The room boy was our room clean, constantly changed the towels, everything seemed clean and tidy. The clogged drain in hand was after complaint on the same day cleaned. There was no reason to weiteen complaints. Attention: glass door from the inside lock. We were initially careless and the monkey managed then even, the fridge on.

    We enjoyed every day around 11 pm water aerobics and visited the offered teaching in kisuaheli. Otherwise was to swim in the lower pool was announced, horticultural uniquely decorated.     The waiting period at the ferry is very different, of up to two hours we all. The highway after ukunda and then to the hotel is exemplary developed. Shops are within easy reach, one drove with the tuk tuk-tricycle, a matatu -bus or take a taxi in the hotel. Not expensive : to Diani Beach shopping center it costs there and back 800 Shilling, about 8 Euro. And the driver will wait for free, to one with buying is finished.

    We booked an economy room, in the hotel but we have a bahari room with a view of the sea elsewhere, what surprised us. The furnishings, cleanliness was good. The safe helped us free available. Everything worked well.

The most rooms and bathroom are a bit outdated and should urgently be renovated. The hotel lives off of its wonderful, spacious (the outside ) complex and the friendliness of the staff, the guests the stay as pleasant as possible want to do. Annoying the tagelangen Indian weddings are, by their (until the wee hours of the morning!) loud music the night's sleep very can be affected. Here should better Separation between wedding company ( the Parties and partying not in the central areas of the hotel!) and the remaining hotel guests take place. read more

Hotel all together average but OK, nevertheless limited food variety seasonal, it takes 4 days to shower/ television/ fridge worked, therefore watches out value for money so not at all. read more

We were after 2009 now for the second time the leisure lodge hotel. The staff are still very nice and to fulfill. The bathrooms have been renovated, the old tubs and instead very spacious Built showers. The food is very plentiful, varied and tastes delicious. Who really peace and relaxation searches, is in this hotel correctly. There are 80% seniors for the umpteenth time in the long-term vacation, but none in case boring. If one information needed, one can many tips. Children we didn't see any and I believe, that children too few possibilities have, to be occupied. A tip ... from me:if a safari, or any kind of trip to book, then take with Felix, postpaid, or Patrick at the beach. The three make possible all at a fair prices and absolutely reliable. Whose possibilities cannot travel agency offer. read more

By all restaurants was the seafood restaurant the best. Juma Dele is a top chef... The restaurant lies directly at the beach in a romantic atmosphere. Value for money was pleasant. read more

The hotel is good. The staff were in general very friendly. The manager of the hotel must however learn, not 'politically' important guests for your stay pay and he therefore not as' minor children' treat should. If 50% of the guests at the dress code and with a T-shirt and long trousers for food, then it is not too complain about, whether him the T-shirt like, only, because for him important people from the policy a Sonderaufenthalt in 'his' hotel spend (not refer directly to, but nice people as I have met). Strange was furthermore, that at least 40% of ... the guests not a 'shirt', but also T-shirt carried, the hotel is in a very nice location. Annoying were only the ' beach boys' the quite persistent all the guests the only into the sea wanted chat up. read more

This was our fourth stay in leisure lodge. Even if the Mobiliarder rooms and the bathrooms already getting old are (from southern European standard), so überiwegt for us the ambience altogether and the extreme friendliness of the staff. We will be frequently in this hotel vacation make. read more

Facilitities are very nice and generous laid out you will find almost every day a new way to the beach! The room is okay! The only what i really complain about and what many have also said here is the bathroom! It is really getting old! Room are every day very well cleaned! I had half board and it was more than adequate what you should be aware is that you all drinks even is charged! (besides coffee and tea) In the hotel itself are very many german older genartion especially but regular guests for several decades to come \u263a! ... But also swiss, austrians and if conferences are also many locals there! read more

    The room was okay, there was tv with eutschen program and every day a dvd. Air conditioning and fan and worked without any problems! Very positive i found the safe very big the laptop and everything else fit in and it free available stood! Terrace gave naturally also with seating possibility and beautiful view! So we come to the bathroom it was clean and every day clean but you saw everywhere the very, very, very old! The pressure from the water could everywhere(shower, flushing and so on) a whole track be stronger!

    There are different restaurants! For my taste the kitchen to german it i missed a bit the typical kenyanische fare! The food was but the quality was always good was missing everywhere but a little salt! \u263a the prices for the drinks are ok in other hotels it can clearly be expensive!

    It is for the older persons so it is more quiet with the entertainment, but there is every day offers! The beach is great! The one its lying chair in advance must is a bit strange but there is a great service at the beach directly at the beach chair! The beach is also always clean so little seaweeds!     Beach great right on the reef! To mombassa it wasn't so far and you have to not conditionally back! A supermarket there was right around 'the corner'! Very recommendable if you drinks buy! A disco is there also nearby. Restaurants you find a few you have to mention a bit but there was everything! Excursions you can everywhere book so in the hotel i (would) i do not! There is enough other provider you should because best choice i can very raha tour's & travels recommend!

OK, I have already detailed reviews over this hotel written, that's why only a short Zusammenfassund a impression our current visit. After some renovations in September 2011 locally went, we decided for the leisure lodge. We booked one of the freshly renovated Premia room, whereby here just to note is, that it is only a partial renovation acts. There are only some of the furniture-the undisputed are very nice-had been replaced, but we had still an old bed with a saggy mattress. Which US this time noticed was-there was busy, the very friendly were and were also the effort, if ... something not work so well. Then gave it such unmotivated staff, that I was honestly very surprised. So what are we of Kenya-until then the Tipilikwani camp-not used. For me it was not comprehensible, which partly evenings, if the food on the terrace was served, for a chaos in the staff prevailed. What I still didn't like it, that for example Supervisor trainees in the guests maßregelten -it could have been different. New for us was, that there were only buffet returns. Also the relatively rare variety was new for us. Here some really to changed. The differences from day to day were noticeably. A evenings was the buffet lean and it was filled up nothing, if you came later, you had bad luck and got to hear, here you just went earlier food. On the next day it was great and it was immediately refilled everything-these fluctuations were for me really not comprehensible. Also instead of theme conferences have an influence on the hotelgeschehen, but I am here as only disturbing noticed, as some tourists about kenyanische fellow citizens think, after the motto ' look times, now is the in our pool '-as you will have to dominate. We already have some not quite so positive reviews in the last months and could the somehow not so understand, but now we can. Even if some not great was, so it was also somewhat annoying, other regular Customers the whole time complain to hear. Sometime is enough and if you then said, that a thing noticed, then one was almost daily asked. It does nothing, if one complained and then anytime again comes. As long as this is the case, will not much change and it takes just. It was unpleasant for us, that 'OUR' room from other guests inspected -as I was initially first speechless since we only by a coincidence noticed. Also during our stay the bed linen not or only once changed-the towels -if you tip gave it worked, otherwise not. We were from this hotel have not used. Our wake-up call on the day of departure you also had idled away-well, our alarm clock. The day before the departure daily we have our calculation paid, since we were advised. The corresponding cards, which you will get, were allegedly from. Until we the people for the return trip clearly could do, took a while. the complex is somewhat outdated, however very clean. We had half board, which absolutely sufficient was. Unfortunately, there were only the offered drinks a bit expensive( European level). Tip: ensure even for the drinks in the supermarket there were a lot of Long Term, Swiss, Italian and German at the time of our visit there. What however also noticeable was, there were many guests since, the already to the tenth or 20th were times there. the average age of the guests was about 55 years. read more

    We had a Premium room. The size the area was absolutely sufficient, 24 square meters with a TV (a German program) and balcony. Air conditioning available, which also required will. There is a mini bar, but without content. However you can go your own drinks cool. As I have already mentioned, the hotel is getting a bit old, but you hard-working very, slow to renew. We can only say, that everything was great reasonable was.

    the staff's hospitality was perfect. All staff spoke English, many however also German (albeit fragmentary). The cleaning of the rooms was good. There is a separate hotel doctor, the daily consultation-hour has. with complaints it is very good. We had to our complaint once with a little vigour formulate (shower head had to be replaced). However afterwards worked out wonderful and it was anticipated your every wish.

    For sport there is surfing, diving, water aerobics and of course golf. Similarly, several excursions in the large, very nice overgrown garden the area. The pool was OK, was however we not used, since the Indian ocean preferred by us. The beach is a dream and very clean. The boys, the at the beach wanted to sell something are not very pushy, a 'no' has been accepted. Apart from that ensure hotel's own Securities for order, without problems. Couches and sun screens were on the first day at Logon at the beach for the total vacation reserved. So that you didn't even had to do.

    the location is simply dreamlike. Right on the long, fine sandy beach, as well as the golf course to street. The golf course is very well maintained and also very well playable. There is numerous possibilities for shopping, which one easily alone on foot visit can. In direct environment(3 minutes on foot) there is a good hospital and a small supermarket. About 10 minutes on foot one reached a somewhat larger shopping center. Safaris Bay not tour operators, but at the beach.. It was a great 4-day safari, Tsavo West, Tsavo East and amboseli. The KIBO showed two days from the best Page. We had a individual safari with Boris (beckerjira) agreed in the jeep and only we. The price was far below what the tour operators for a safari offer (and then 4 people in a bus). Also speaks Boris a perfect German, in case it with the English not so worked well ☺

After a 5 day safari with Twit Travel & safaris are we arrived exhausted in paradise. In the Lodge. The general competence and the foreign language competence of the African wilderness dusty were cleaned upon arrival, before relaxing in our room 'ocean view' were brought. This is the great interest in the lodge. We were with chilled drinks and with the characteristics shown in our new home. Brilliantly located on the south coast mombasas is left nothing to be desired. The soul of the comfortable beach chairs with views of the Indian ocean, and enjoy the culinary delights. Always clean ... and asked the chef personally prepared the food for the well-being of its guests. Discreet but always ready spoiled us the staff of the hotel with its hospitality. A special place in the wonderful Kenya. read more

From the entrance was everything seemed perfect. however, when we the room in Bahariwing saw many we believe. (further, see rooms). The lawn was too high and was not mowed. The booked Seeblick only through the bushes and trees to see. The beach pool chairs were free however constantly towels or some Utensils and the already from 7 o'clock.? in the pool a dark brown Rand at height of Wasserstands was normal and a little dirt/sand on the floor was quite normal for the tour operator from Neckermann and manager of the hotel. the hotel it was 1972 in ... use and colander is not much renovated, so our impression. read more

    however, when we the room in Bahariwing saw many we believe from. It should be a 4 star vacation will. the room smelled after mold. The bed with a geflicktem cover and when I raised one saw the dirty bed ( stains on the mattress and crumbs from the previous guests). Under the mattress was a cockroach show. on the walls was repaired and poorly buffed. I can only agree with me in the garage vacation make, as are the walls beautiful. The whole place is very worn and everything was full of dirt. In the bathroom were spiders with whose systems apparently normal and completely rusty mountings interessiren here also nobody. The fridge is also without function since the türe did not properly shut. On our complaint was tried to clean up everything and the mattress renewed. however is the staff even not able all in a Ordentilchen condition zuversetzen because the funds are not are available. They came with an even dirtier ones mattress and showed us room that you can see the saltpetre spriesen . after 2 days we moved in another hotel. the hotel we will not any longer book, there is a danger.

When I said I did there where I was no response. So we sat just where was available. After the issue, whether it a certain spread is bad waiter his colleagues and the back and the third said he would me on the table. After 10 minutes a chef and explained the not on inventory and why. Why says simply not, that it is not? the staff are attentive, unfortunately they have no training as in Germany. On staff it is not you do what you ihne says.

The hotel is clean, tidy and nicely laid out. It must only be urgently reconditioned and already partly started, it is already quite getting old. There was a good assortment of food and something for everyone. The service staff left a little to be desired, however, was slow and inattentive and served some guests( better tipper, regular) clearly preferred. At the end of the trip there is a problem with the beds. The Staff as well as the tour guide on site were totally incompetent to the matter, following a two-hour discussion it was not possible to find-very sad cleaning! ... Conclusion: Kenya anytime again like (although beach boys on the beach very annoying are, walks are impossible), the excursions with DM-tours were wonderful (Tsavo West and amboseli, choice and Willie PIPA) but it is probably the next time a different hotel. We think it important that any with problems they helped. The lodge is in the hotel unfortunately not the case! Recommendation therefore limited. Otherwise a beautiful and quiet area! read more

Beautiful Beach... Rooms are clean, but in need of dire need of a makeover. Food was very good and varied. Unfortunately a bit dead in the evening at the bars... A shame! For those seeking peace and quiet first choice, for singles and revelers not... We had full board and would pass on the recommendation. read more

If you are in the lodge holiday, then book the Safari not in Germany, but in town on the beach. It is much cheaper and there are far fewer people per bus, for example, not six, but only four States, and thus it is much more relaxed travel. The best Address for me is Boris. Since we were there in the off-season, the hotel was relatively empty and there were many bars could be found. Despite all the service was very good and rich, varied buffet. wireless Internet free of charge. There was a conference with the visit of the Kenyan President. I think that says everything about the quality of the hotel. Tennis was not offered any longer (new conference Center). Fitness room is taken from the adjoining Hotel (400 ksh, from 18 hours 250 ksh). Very beautiful garden area. On the beach to Francis questions. At the Watt hikes not more than 200 ... ksh pay. The beach Boys first 2000 ksh. Which is way too much. The Wnaderung was worth it, it will be starfish, -Cucumbers and stone fish shown and so on. The sea urchins Wegene recommend beach shoes. All in all the best. read more

The area is on the outside. It is clear to see, that the new owner Prime Bank to a sustainable development is not interested. The majority of the guests were German, usually clearly in the retirement age. Many spend several weeks, without ever to leave the area. In the tourists have seen other reviews mentioned, we also. During our stay, there were at least 14 such couples in the area. It is already look poor, as the old people despite the lack of language skills at the 'real' love believe. read more
