Had 1 night on a business trip in the Hotel Eder stayed overnight; location of the hotel with proximity to city center respectively train station is top; single room was double room with 2 separate beds - alone sufficient, as a couple very, very tight, room absolutely clean and pleasant, older style, but OK-bathroom very small, bed also, but okay for one night; guests the at night the stairs are, we could hear, hotel partly also the walls are a bit thin; employees very friendly and helpful; breakfast buffet was good - at 7:00 o'clock of course with full ... range of juices, tea, coffee - rolls and sausage/ cheese, jams fit and was good; in short: value for money ok respectively good for 69,- Euro the night with breakfast - would however for vacation 't go there again, as I the rooms too small respectively a bit spartan equipped; recommendation but nevertheless, since everything was fine and for 2 stars expectations vol met read more

My very positive evaluations refer to the very good price-performance ratio for a pure overnight accommodation Hotel of this category in Munich (at least out of fair/October fixed times); not suitable for guests, which for a longer time in the hotel or want to stay in the room (example: double room with only one chair fit anymore but didn't fit in). read more

Not designed for the handicapped, as there was no lift. Assessment no restaurant, only breakfast is served. Very reasonable price on Web booking. Parking garage across the street, five minutes to the main station. The fitter street in five minutes to the stachus. read more

the hotel is very cozy in Bavarian style, however very decent, so that there are no massive strikes. So is the breakfast area, as well as the rooms very comfortable.
The staircase shows of age structure. The steps are very worn and have different heights. The Floorboards needs getting used to, because it very makes. You can hear the partly also with closed door.
locked Leisutngen were breakfast and Wi-Fi. The latter I didn't use. read more

super cute and quiet hotel. Is very easily accessible from the train station in the hotel and from the hotel in the city center. Price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. There is no elevator but for sports people no problem about the great staircase to the fourth tsock. There is a great room with a huge bathroom with a bathtub. Rooms were relatively thin walled. Those who have problems should not vore a few take earplugs.
Conclusion: we were completely satisfied and would book the hotel again at any time! read more

Because of the two stars it is actually nothing from properties. The location at the train station is not inviting. But that is true for all hotels in this area too. Price/performance in my case good (207 €for three nights with breakfast) the room was rather small but okay. Are 'only' two star. The Only Negative. Mildew odor in the bathroom, although the cleanliness was nothing from properties. read more

160, -EURO per night for a tiny sound proof room on the ground floor right next to the smoking area in the inner courtyard is ridiculously expensive. For the price I expect too much more in Munich. Based on the price I can evaluate all the amenities, the service, the room and the cleanliness only bad.
The staff at the front desk, I felt obliged formally the room keys to deliver (this may in this hotel be common, but please do not defend that!).
The breakfast needs, in my opinion, for the expensive price classes be better.
Once again, my ... bad review of this hotel Eder Munich resulted mainly from the extremely poor value for money. I think for what I got more than half the price is reasonable. read more

The hotel Eder is centrally located, a few minutes walk from the main station and the old town-is very well suitable for city trips.
For those arriving by car may 24 hours for 5 €about 300m away from the hotel parking (more details are directly from the hotel).
The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a traditional Bavarian style equipped.
The twin room and the bathroom are a bit small. But that didn't bother us, as it is in the wonderful town of Munich more to see than in the rooms ☺
Otherwise the rooms in a new & clean ... condition. The two single beds were a 'double' push together.
The TSA, lack of elevator promotes fitness, what a great compensation for the good Bavarian cuisine is.
older people should be no better rooms in the third or fourth floor.
The front desk and the hospitality were very friendly & helpful.
The breakfast was also very good. Of course you can't expect four stars hotel breakfast buffet, with English breakfast & fresh fruit salad. The selection and quality were absolutely okay.
All in all a nice, clean hotel in a very Central, quiet location for a fair price. read more

I was together with four other girls in Munich. We chose the hotel Eder, because it was reasonably priced and centrally located (the main station nearby). So perfect, if you haven't a car.
I had read already reviews (almost only good) and we were still very positive surprised everyone. The rooms were so clean. I never normally in socks or barefoot through hotel rooms, but this was different. My white socks were white.
I was at a 3-He room, the size was very adequate for our needs. We had a table and two chairs. The bathroom was large as well ... and looked relatively new. Otherwise the furnishing was rather rustic, which certainly not unusual for Bavaria.
The check-in process was superb. There were rolls, bread, jam, sausage, cheese, cereal, juice, milk, coffee. Admittedly, sausage and cheese were from the package, but in my home and I think the 30 €per night for absolutely in order.
The front desk is staffed around the o'clock (at night you rings and it is).
My conclusion is so, if I travel back to Munich, and I shall, because Munich is really nice, I will go back to the hotel Eder. read more

So for a short stay I would recommend this hotel. The hotel Eder is a quaint Hotel. The breakfast is for the normal demands adequate-there are different types of bread and rolls, bread, marmladen, sausage, cheese, kitchens, juices, cereal and fruit (however, canned fruit). So I think there can be satisfied.
The rooms are very quaint-but always clean.
So if you are planning a trip to Munich and want to be central, is here exactly correct. read more

The hotel has no elevator and luggage are independently in the fourth floor. When we complained about the bags at the ground floor are to and from the Wäschebedarf daily. The room with sloping ceilings, a small attic window, which was only about a rise on the table under open, no luggage rack, as well as a small unit costs 75, -€. A price reduction was saved by the sales tax (7 instead of 19%)unacceptable. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice small hotel in a very central location.
The room was very small, but furnished nicely (someone has paid much attention to details) and always absolutely clean.
The breakfast was very basic, but there was certainly something for every taste.
The only drawback was the neighborhood, where you better not alone at night through the streets should.
I would recommend this hotel again at any time again. read more

The hotel Eder is a small hotel between the train station and stachus (not the best area, but also for those who travel alone safe). The rooms are simple, but clean. Transportation to and from the hotel is pretty good. Cheese, sausage, ham, jam, cereals and pastries are available. The price/performance ratio is good. The suit-cases can be deposited on the day of departure in the hotel.
To be recommended at any time for a short stay. read more

Good location in the city center, only parking is very problematic, since only in the multi-storey car park for many euro, or run the risk of parking. Breakfast? Sausage, cheese, finished. Nothing hot, tinned fruit.
Check-out is 11:00 o'clock, very unusual. Ten minutes before 11:00 o'clock and check-out were recalled. A bit strange. No elevator, therefore only with carry-on luggage arrive, or you have to lug your bags. read more

I can only agree with the other reviews, a great hotel for stadtreisen oksy. No elevator in the hotel! (we didn't mind but nothing). The hotel is located on a one way street from the train station nearby and stachus. I personally enjoyed the Bavarian style (lots of wood) very much. Hotel Eder Munich: any time again! read more
