The safe was suddenly not more open, aid had to be collected.
We would like to see a later check out had, since we at the friday brunch participated. This was on request with the manager only until 15 o'clock possible, afterwards only against a considerable extra charge. read more

Very stylish hotel. Ideal for couple, but not for families and children. The hotel is great, the gastronomy is great, but rather expensive. The hotel is a resort, one could hardly on foot go out. Taxis are always available and the Omani are really nice people. read more

We were very nicely surprised the cleanliness and friendliness of the hotel. The reviews recently were unfortunately, not so good. But since we are members of lhw we therefor and it was not a mistake. The hotel is in perfect condition in all areas. The landing airplanes we didn't find it as being a drawback. read more

We stayed at the chedi the end of our two-week Travel (with the rental car on own fist) spent by the Oman, stay 4 (only.) days.
all together a wonderful, beautiful hotel with perfect service, Atmosphere! Everything here was good!
the hotel is very spacious laid out, with 'only' about 150 rooms it was distributed in a massive garden area. The style is Arabic, with Asian influences, rather discreet-reduced, but incredibly tastefully and with an eye for details - as an example: every evening there were in the entire area hundreds of candles glasses, votives, lanterns convivial, all from ... break-down of the darkness until far into the night atmospheric lighting create. And as you are all magic in the morning again tidy, every day! The cleanliness is not only very good, it is perfect. The atmosphere and the furnishings in the restaurants as well as-we breakfast as well as dinner as well as snacks during the day in the various restaurants use taken have. The check-in process, several times daily on the ground, is excellent -almost too well, because once used towel the sink should probably not immediately be changed, daily would truly sufficient. Unfortunately we have spent only two nights at this hotel. After a round trip in Oman was the hotel is the perfect place to rest. The chedi in muscat is a hotel, which still very long positive be remembered. The entrance area is overwhelming and a tent jagello. The garden is very accurate presented, the pool area very neat and not at all crowded. You can sit on a daybed or normal loungers comfortable. Some users, the noise from the planes and the expensive price criticized. I agree, straight around midday, some planes parallel to the beach past, however in a level, in which you hardly any noise can speak. I found it was not as disturbing. As the conclusion part of a trip to relax or stop over good, but for the sole beach holiday only very limited:
Advantages: super with lots of gardens and pools privacy, attractive modern design, excellent dining with stylish atmosphere in all areas, particularly beach-seafood, but also the main restaurant, great breakfast
Cons: we were only 1 night and had a standard room, very small, at a location behind buildings adjacent economic, no balcony (as also the other room categories except the suites), the bathroom was also the hall/entrance at the same time, so everything is open, the toilet was with ... a glass door separated only but also at the entrance, no good ventilation, window not zuöffnen, loud air conditioning, price/performance ratio room not a 5 * level quality accordingly regarding the

The hotel is stunningly designed two chilled pools (one third under construction), the architecture and the gardens make the hotel to a great experience. In the restaurant are four kitchen integrated, around the citizenry. Polite, extremely friendly and courteous staff. The room are something small, but sufficient. Unfortunately the chedi has but significant disadvantages. Since the hotel only seven kilometer away from the airport in the approach lane lies, the plane crash in low altitude throughout the day. Not side next to it about, but directly over the hotel. Until about 02:00 H, 04:30 A.M. the catalogs ... morning from about from the press' in an awkward wind noise can it to come. ' This statement is but completely wrong, because it comes always to aircraft noise. After the first morning we were woken up fliers, a is the nearby mosque the rest, but the is probably customary and must not be in all the rooms. Our room was within sight of the mosque. But the worst of all: it`s in the direct fly zone of the Muscat airport! There are planes flying over your head every three minutes!!!!! read more

For us the chedi was a hotel of the great class. The care provided by the staff perfect. Since we 14 days were stationed in the hotel, it came to a friendly relationship with the staff. Price/performance ratio were the lobby is beautiful and absolutely convincing generously designed. The restaurant is themed separated spacious, with a blend of int., Asian, arbischer cuisine is served in good quality.
The garden area is large and spacious design.
Our room was beautiful and was in a quiet location.

The hotel was earlier the best place to relax. Despite its less attractive location (next to a desalination industry) it was a secluded haven of peace. Unfortunately, the (very ) nearby airport was expanded and the local Airline OmanAir expanded enormously. In addition older Russian design airplanes, thundered over the hotel.
We were on the 3rd holiday at the Chedi, this time it disturbed us, that the windows couldn't be opened and the air conditioner did not exchange the air sufficiently. Continuously disturbing, were the tourists who arrived before 2pm, who had no decent place where they could wait. ...
Otherwise, the hotel was regarding service, cleanliness, kitchen etc. best. Even if it was fully booked, because of the extensive size the many tourists at the area weren't noticed at all.
Beach and ocean were however not highly recommended. read more

On the 'positive' we were very surprised chedi: a first class hotel in a wonderful garden with private beach. The tastefully furnished room with a view of the sea or the mountains radiation from a lot of peace. The kitchen is particularly cause and the service, excellent-very high level. Has its price, it is but well worth it.

We have spent only a few hours in the hotel after a red eye flight. But the what we experienced and have seen, was very good and I would therefore recommend the house also.

We have a suite and were very well looked after. The staff were always very hard without being intrusive to work.
The aircraft noise have we as not to disturb us.
Many small things were outstanding, such as for example. always fresh mint water to drink at the pool.
The menu had something for my taste still more can be, as we have eaten at the hotel in the evening.
Conclusion: a house for feeling well!
