We are a two families (three people) traveling, once again for the Europapark to visit. Over the internet, we did some vendors written and ultimately for the schmidt gästehaus decided. We had the room number 14 and 15, they were on the 2. floor and were over one metalltreppe to reach. First was the complex very attractive, but you should not always get deceived from the first impression. Rooms are large, but poorly equipped, cleaning miserable, wi-fi worked really only in the garden respectively in the restaurant. The size of the rooms is very good, it was done was bad. In the room 15 there is no closet, no shelf, not even any counter space. A safe was announced - not available, the air conditioning should the completely dirty ceiling fan are. There is a small refrigerator. Our apartments had a good bed. The 3. 'bed' was almost on a recovered zwischendecke, was over, again quite dusty holzleiter /staircase and consisted of the soil lying mattress. Under a bed i something else for. The bed linen, especially however the towels have their heyday already long time ago. Partly tattered and holey shower and towels are already unpleasant. In the room number 15. the shower cubicle was defective, due to a lack of role this could not be closed. In the five days of our stay the hosts failed, the damage actually embarrassing. Positive: a good television set, but honestly, you could have saved and the important things must invest. Overall, the abuses are and through a discount a little absorbed, i would have preferred, everything was ok.

Here, we refer to the breakfast. The cleanliness was here, at least those parts, the you immediately see, alright. The quantity of the food and drinks was completely okay, near the quality to say, that it once dried cheese (hard dunkelgelbe edges) was. On the first two days there were Nutella, then not more!?

The junior manager really makes an effort and also very friendly, whether his staff but actually in hand, must be doubtful. Complaints were noted, but we had to already're stuck, so that any visible improvement. The hotel's cleanness was in both rooms when a disaster. On a ceiling fan (also lamp) was a fingerdicke dust layer (remedy only on the 3. day our stay). For breakfast we got a table for six people assigned, the we had two days, then we were without reason and need to apply implemented. You have the feeling, that the left do not know, what the right hand is doing.

The location is the large plus of the guest house. It is from Europapark (main entrance) no 5-minute walk away. Other trips, for instance to Freiburg or to Straßburg, you can from this location, very good work. Pharmacy is right nearby, supermarket (Edeka, Lidl) are by car reachable in a few minutes.
