PLUS:
Well-kept complex in pleasant style.
Nicely decorated, without cold or intrusive.
Great views of the city and the sea, particularly the sunset is spectacular.
Very clean.
Very friendly staff.
Breakfast for pub conditions well.
- the photos the website don't make too many promises ( that means it does what it says on the tin)
MINUS:
If you really are looking for a quiet, is in the wrong place here ( the travel guide of Attica, the hotel as Stadthotel a, where now times with noise is): one of the main streets from/ to Mykonos-town around the hotel. Thus ... particularly the ubiquitous and noisy scooters in the bergauffahren day and night to hear. The can really annoying, especially if one at night with the window open instead of with air-conditioning wanted to sleep.
- the rise of of the city is quite arduous ( but doable)
Still recommendable. read more

Great boutique hotel in Mykonos (city). The location is great, because the hotel on a small hill, you look so over the roofs of the city over the harbor. You have a great view on the sea, especially the sunset. We have in the hotel hardly breakfast, because we are late sleepers. Dinner we mostly in the town restaurant. Into town walk through a few streets and is in five minutes at the port. The beach bus to the beach goes right on the hotel past, simply thumb rausstrecken and ride. We loved it, were twice as and are definitely ... coming again. read more

a beautiful infinity pool with a beautiful view over the town of Mykonos. I would highly recommend this hotel even though the "ascent" from the exit back to the hotel a slightly sweat ... But this makes the calories burned, the there is too much has taken only drawback: customer service at the pool was a bit unfriendly. But the music at sunset at the pool was very nice and a romantic atmosphere read more

Typical, nice boutique hotel that of friendliness, attention and the effort of the staff lives. Wonderful views of the city, the windmills, the Kapiänsviertel and the sea. The hotesl is airy, with flowing white curtains before the blue sea and the sky. Milena, the competent Chef de service has been carefully decorated, speedy, helpful and always on the job. The meals are really Greek, delicious - everything was clean and neat. Rooms: quite small but functional and always very clean. in the morning a Euro tip multiplied between 2003-2005 with friendliness and value. Pool&Bar: Dimitrios seems to love their job. ... He maintains the pool, bar, he is always at the cleaning or mix or revelation. Besides it is a hervorragnder DJ depending on the time of day pool area with stimmigem sound surrounds. negative - and also Dimitris big trouble: it has little to little sun loungers and umbrellas to just 4 Unallocated for guests with bellows! Unbelievable In June is the added, in the middle of summer's unbearable. In 10 minutes you'll hop on the down town, is situated in Mykonos - everything is in walking distance and the nightly climb up to the hotel leaves the wine or ouzo level back again - so a bonus! The Vencia is a small, fine find - not luxurious, not überkandidielt, shows in its own art Greece to the nicest, most welcoming sides. We will definitely be back - soon! read more

The hotel is modern and stylish furnishings. The walk downtown 10 minutes and is easy to figure it out. The special is the great view with a grandiose sunset. The pool closes with the horizon-line. The breakfast buffet was always the same and for German standards very boring and low budget. There were only 2 artificial tasting jam, fried eggs, hard-boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. The coffee was bland, the whole-grain bread However, in a good location. For 4 stars I would have expected more. To my travel time there were many Japanese and Americans there. The Japanese were somewhat ... critical that Americans were always full of praise. 80 % Of performance of America probably enough a wholly owned expeced. I would say overall performance. The average age was probably around 40 years old. I stayed on a half board basis. The food was always very well, rather ungriechisch, what I found it a shame, but always very rich. The meals repeated occasionally. Unfortunately hadn't be chosen and took a Speisevorschlag be satisfied. Overall I would book half board again, as the eating out in Mykonos very expensive and not always with good quality. Mykonos Cavendish is touristy, smart, expensive and very ungriechisch. Rather to compare with villenâ flavors. Particularly unappealing and annoying I found the young hotel proprietor Stella and her Leggins-bearing mother who lives in a Seitentrakt of the hotel. Too much played friendliness, paired from a amateurish, martialischem occur in the hotel area. Opposite the guests friendliness shown. The eastern european staff were often rude and not really treated well. Strangely there were only positive entries of Americans in the guest book for the junior boss Stella and her superficial friendliness. Just Superficial. How are you and you are welcome. The rooms are typical, modern, friendly and were always cleaned to a high standard. Overall I would very good 3 -star spread. In the 4 star I see so my problems the breakfast buffet and in the tour. read more

The small (30 rooms) boutique hotel is situated on great location, increase in Mykonos town. A pleasant stroll leads to bustling town of many stages. The renovated hotel is very tastefully decorated. price-performance ratio wasn't (280 Euro per night in a standard room without breakfast in the high season!!! ) read more

The 3 -star hotel advertises now since its renovation in 2007 as a "boutique hotel" in various Cyclades glossy magazines and is also now the "Vencia in borchures-boutique hotel" offers. My subjective impression: The fairly small Cycladic hotel (31 rooms) satnds up because of its fantastic ( elevated) run hotel has been from Mykonos town through its complete renovation ( preferably room, bathroom, restaurant and pool area) clearly won of comfort. Nevertheless, the location isn't extremely quiet ( hotel is a bypass road EMBRACE) and the path in the city very uncomfortable, as either downhill or a pain uphill ( ... no sidewalk, lively could at, doggie bins were, cats - at least during the summer season). The facility makes a good impression spontaneously, real "charm" or even want to "amount" but not the very fake, rather superficial service (reception, restaurant) nor the other offer ( breakfast terrace optically beautiful, service, however, poor) claustophobic. Also the "expanded" breakfast ( to at least 10.30 am) I wasn't blown away: The coffee was really horrible, we waved already on the second day of tea at ( very neatly arranged selection), the other breakfast package was refilled, but often it was missing and except for the rolls there was never a special or fancy on the breakfast buffet ("Cyclades Anyway"). The hotel-public would primarily included temporary metro strike "Kykladenhüpfern" ( mostly couples from the Far East and America) together, real packaged are in the absolute minority, Greek was's did not - this will hardly interesting is held or other longer than a cigarette continue or maximum a "Hello how are you" include - really nice Cyclades atmosphere so Absloute none. Although this hotel does almost everything, provided you very close to want to stay in Mykonos town and from the pool area from the sunset. Just one word about the rooms: all rooms are completely durchsaniert ( new floor, new interior, a really nice bathroom with good quality amateurs, rich tiles and "rain shower" - often even with glass doors and without the sticky shower curtain). The decor is simple-spartan-bright, but totally taste. The size of the room was rather marginal ( small to very small, small bed), also the balconies rich just returned for 2 chairs. Therefore recommendable: room definately book a room with seaview ( pool side), landside is optically not worth mentioning, as the hotel not much greenery or similar. Offers. Conclusion: a good hotel in the 3 -Sternenkategorie, but by no means a boutique hotel for demanding Mykonos fans, the current value like in the 3 -star category because of the renovations interesting. read more

The location of the hotel is very nice with an amazing view. Center is quick steps to reach. For us as a family with small children a rental car was the better choice. The beaches are by car or bus ride away. The rooms were big enough and clean. The staff was very, very friendly!!! Overall highly recommended hotel. read more
