I stayed at the Marriott Kensington for one night in March. Check-in was quick and efficient. Arrived at 5 pm, and my room was available. The room, a superior king, was quite large for London but sparsely furnished. The bed and linen was comfortable, although the duvet was a bit thin for my liking. General cleanliness of the hotel is good, but it could do with a refurbishment. Especially the hallways are dire. The public areas/reception area is not very appealing, and feels a bit like a old airport hotel. Breakfast was good, with a ok selection of hot English ... choices. I would, however, like to see some more cold options. read hotel review

Nice mid-range Marriott, mostly good value - especially with the discount rates (due to overall high prices in London). Nice location: a walking distance from Hyde park, Natural history & Victoria and Albert museums etc. read hotel review

Clean, really modern hotel. However completely normal Marriott-standard, nothing special in design or similar the location is very good, two subway-stations in the immediate area, amongst others direct to Heathrow. Lots of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets within 5 to 10 minutes on foot to reach. Also Kensington high street, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, V&A museum 20 minutes away on foot. Very quiet room. King-size bed there are however only when pay upgrade, but queen was also comfortable. read hotel review

the hotel lies located in the district of Kensington, on the busy Cromwell road. Underground railway stations to earls court and Gloucester road is about about 5 to 10 minutes footpath. 2 minutes away from the bus drives 74 toward Harrods, Hyde park Corner, and Marble Arch. the location is quite central to evaluate. From the airport 35 minutes drive LHR it with the piccadily line without having to change. it is not one of the newer Marriott hotels, you especially in the hallways noticed. read hotel review

the room (deluxe) has a size of about 18 square meters. It is equipped with a very comfortable double bed with a very of high quality bed sheets. there was a large flatscreen TV with no German Channels, a free safe and a kettle and tea and coffee. the mini bar was well stocked, but, as usual, not reasonably priced! the bath was really small and, because there is no heating is, very cool! solely the good quality the towels in other languages was quite good. the storage space was adequate for 2 people and there is also a iron andboard in the closet. the carpet unfortunately full of hair, the socks hanging (bähh)! in the shower ( bathtub) it was a few Mold in the joints!

solely the Swiss lady at the front desk you could as accommodating and helpful describe, apart from that cool and taste of the food were rather bad, particularly the Concierge area! My usual 'dust' in the room was absolutely desolate. Allergy sufferers have the room probably vamoose! our complaint, the bathroom cold is (no heating), a radiator in the bathroom!

If you the pictures sees in the Internet, you think it would be a beautiful Marriott hotel in great location. Unfortunately, the building unfortunately more like a 3-star hotel good. The facade and the size the entrance hall didn't match a Marriott standard. It was clean, the rooms however are rather small. We had a breakfast taken, because the hall and the breakfast room is very uncomfortable were. read hotel review

I had my coat in the airplane forget. The hotel staff, as well as the concierge has this mishap however not at all interested. They gave us a helpline the airline (without us to have, at least 24 hours to wait, to indicate to receive) and told us, we will be the best from the hotel telephone call. The amount of fees for a few conversations you can imagine. Since you forever in a holding pattern hung. I would have liked from five star hotel with such a Zimmerpreispolitik desired, the Mantelproblem for me resolved. Apart from that you can just a bed & breakfast hotel. I was really happy about this indifference annoyed. Also a complaint, which I booked on-line with the Marriott after sales service said, remains until today unanswered.

The location in the middle of of Kensington was naturally top. 2 minutes to the next Metro station. There are some good restaurants around the corner. Also a great Italian breakfast store is not far from the hotel. Therefore, you could for less money much better food and coffee drink.

Very good service, nice helpful staff, the hotel from the outside looks simply only bad! Inside everything was fine, clean and tidy, very large room and bathroom. The only drawback, you can open the Windows only a crack. Breakfast with plenty of choice and (full) Despite the rush and thanks to the excellent staff No chaos! Great Service. Bus and underground are a three-minute walk reachable! We'll be back... read hotel review

Classic business hotel in good neighborhood. There are many hotels and restaurants, shopping centers, antique shops, bars, etc. It is full of tourists. You are not right in the center, but it is with quick subway ride away. Walk to the surrounding districts open which are very nice, Kensington, NottingHill, Knightsbridge ( Harrod's). The breakfast is great. Dinner expensive, but very good. You can sit in the foyer only a bit sterile. Room small - london-typical. On request for a quiet room we got on the first try one right in front of the exhaust fan. At the second attempt'sworked. ... Traditional English décor with lots of "tütü", but ok. teething problems all newly opened hotels experience with the water temperature - armature must be discontinued sensitive. Otherwise totally content, we would stay here again. read hotel review
