At night it was chilly, we had heat, and the in september! - day there were up to 21 degrees, at night 3 degrees celsius. In the morning we saw deer on the street cross-country skiing. read hotel review

Our room was on 2 floors and had carpet floor, a real fireplace, a sofa with a table, air conditioning and heating, telephone, radio, free wi-fi, ironing board and iron. The top floor was only by a very narrow winding staircase distance, here there was a large double bed with a blanket. The bathroom had a shower and a hair dryer, bathrobes hung in the closet.

The breakfast room was behind the front desk. Unfortunately not large enough for 2 busloads guests, thus had the other group the neighbor hotel breakfast. For breakfast there was toast, bagels, danish pastries, croissants, cereals, dte, coffee, oranges and apple juice, jam and cheese.

The hotel is located at 'stadtrand' of banff, but still quite central. On foot one was in 10 minutes where the most money could spend. Safeway was only 500 meters away. Alternatively you could along the river walk, here saw one from time to time also hinds. If you don't want to walk could also the public bus this entlangfuhr. The timetable for at the front desk. We got room 204, it was somewhat difficult to find, since the outline maps unlisted was... But we thought it was 8-)

The hotel is at the beginning of the Einfallstrasse, the town center was 10 minutes. It looks a little dated, depending on the wood trim together with the Canadian way. The rooms themselves are in pristine condition, very homely and comfortable fitted. In the large standard rooms are two king size beds, bathroom with a large shower and bathtub. Everything is well maintained and of good quality. The rooms are equipped with TV, coffee maker and free wireless internet for 3 days, was ok. The hotel is preferred by tour groups, this is also visited once lively. If you want ... to, you can use the indoor pool. Adequate covered parking is also available. In the lobby there is free coffee and tea. However the breakfast is served in the sister hotel Royal Canadian Lodge taken 300 meters away. Both properties include the Delta group, with the people from the Charlton a continental breakfast in the morning. The guests at the Royal have breakfast buffet. The Charlton you can safely recommend it as exterior is not on the inside. read hotel review

The Lodge closes its reception at 11pm, then no. Problems (we are due to our rental car arrived at 11 :!5) unlucky!! Despite booking and Register. The staff was rude but not unfriendly. To the guest structure ... buses from Asia ("2 ) and rest of the world. read hotel review

Well, that's really a problem we had the kitchenette suite. (3 Adults ) with 2 bedrooms. Indescribably--the rooms were safe from the still had, not remodeled (except one Bretterbord for microwave)old wallpaper edged. Improved with Stoffbordüren. Not one closet i.d. Rooms only 2 old chairs on the bags up there. A musty smell after airing out not herauszukriegen. But the best bathroom --a shower and a toilet. The sink and vanity were on the-living room! There were no-living room from the bedroom to the door. There is no air conditioning in about 29 degrees. All rooms are soundproofed.

The hotel is on the edge of the town, but with a rental car (the has stayed here every one) or even walking no problem in the place. Some rooms right to the busy street. There is a a Safeway grocery store a ( shopping market) and all the shops, shops and local you need in the immediate area.

Compared to many hotels we had on the trip, this was the most luxurious. The bathroom was huge and robes, as well as a wide selection of "cosmetics". Hotel is highly recommended. read hotel review

Really surprising! archived

Once you're at the a little daunting old-fashioned front desk and local construction is over the room looking, you really pleasantly surprised! We not be considered hotel, but rather than good-mid-range motel experience. The standard room (maisonette was at the same time because of the smell in Banff ongoing "bike-festivals" no more) was very large with 2 queen beds, a large TV, coffee-u. tea maker, fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom was the hit: Separate bath and European shower (the latter huge - for 2 ! -), a very large vanity, lots of fluffy towels, robes, good toiletries. The parking ... was right outside the door (so our rating than 'motel') and was free of charge. Free wifi is also understood here. The pool and hot tub we unfortunately didn't try anything lack of time. Breakfast is not offered can be taken in the neighboring hotel (Fox) but it is unfortunately nothing special and cost quite for the tepid deal! Unfortunately, we didn't have alternatives because we wanted to be extremely early back on the road and had already open The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Banff - a nice walk in the evening But in summer in Banff from 7 pm shuts down All in all - highly recommended! read hotel review

Charlton's Cedar Court, a surprise ... archived

The entrance lobby looks a bit old-fashioned, a fireplace Evaluates the first impression. The bathroom was great, huge shower, a dream. A winding staircase provides access to the sleeping area, attractively designed, gallery, a surprise. The layout in warmer seasons can really stand. The air conditioning ( ) cools not noisy upstairs, Alleviation creates the ceiling fan, of course not silent. After a, about 15 minutes. Walk you are in the center of Banff with countless souvineer shops and restaurants. A really nice place. We ate breakfast at the sister hotel (3 minutes. Distance), since the hotel had no catering ... services are available. Well arranged buffet with a very attentive service. read hotel review
