The hotel is at the beginning of the Einfallstrasse, the town center was 10 minutes. It looks a little dated, depending on the wood trim together with the Canadian way. The rooms themselves are in pristine condition, very homely and comfortable fitted. In the large standard rooms are two king size beds, bathroom with a large shower and bathtub. Everything is well maintained and of good quality. The rooms are equipped with TV, coffee maker and free wireless internet for 3 days, was ok. The hotel is preferred by tour groups, this is also visited once lively. If you want ... to, you can use the indoor pool. Adequate covered parking is also available. In the lobby there is free coffee and tea. However the breakfast is served in the sister hotel Royal Canadian Lodge taken 300 meters away. Both properties include the Delta group, with the people from the Charlton a continental breakfast in the morning. The guests at the Royal have breakfast buffet. The Charlton you can safely recommend it as exterior is not on the inside. read more

The Lodge closes its reception at 11pm, then no. Problems (we are due to our rental car arrived at 11 :!5) unlucky!! Despite booking and Register. The staff was rude but not unfriendly. To the guest structure ... buses from Asia ("2 ) and rest of the world. read more

Compared to many hotels we had on the trip, this was the most luxurious. The bathroom was huge and robes, as well as a wide selection of "cosmetics". Hotel is highly recommended. read more

Once you're at the a little daunting old-fashioned front desk and local construction is over the room looking, you really pleasantly surprised! We not be considered hotel, but rather than good-mid-range motel experience. The standard room (maisonette was at the same time because of the smell in Banff ongoing "bike-festivals" no more) was very large with 2 queen beds, a large TV, coffee-u. tea maker, fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom was the hit: Separate bath and European shower (the latter huge - for 2 ! -), a very large vanity, lots of fluffy towels, robes, good toiletries. The parking ... was right outside the door (so our rating than 'motel') and was free of charge. Free wifi is also understood here. The pool and hot tub we unfortunately didn't try anything lack of time. Breakfast is not offered can be taken in the neighboring hotel (Fox) but it is unfortunately nothing special and cost quite for the tepid deal! Unfortunately, we didn't have alternatives because we wanted to be extremely early back on the road and had already open The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Banff - a nice walk in the evening But in summer in Banff from 7 pm shuts down All in all - highly recommended! read more

The entrance lobby looks a bit old-fashioned, a fireplace Evaluates the first impression. The bathroom was great, huge shower, a dream. A winding staircase provides access to the sleeping area, attractively designed, gallery, a surprise. The layout in warmer seasons can really stand. The air conditioning ( ) cools not noisy upstairs, Alleviation creates the ceiling fan, of course not silent. After a, about 15 minutes. Walk you are in the center of Banff with countless souvineer shops and restaurants. A really nice place. We ate breakfast at the sister hotel (3 minutes. Distance), since the hotel had no catering ... services are available. Well arranged buffet with a very attentive service. read more
