The hotel I can simply recommend to anyone. It was clean and the service was also OK. Of course there was small sprachhindernisse with the German language but who English or French can there no problems. Good traffic connections but no noise from the street. The vacation I thought was just spectacular. read more

Centrally located touristic hotel. Relatively loud, since in the center of town, but local, restaurants etc. On the doorstep. To the beach it is but 15 minutes downhill. Speisevielfalt limited but ok. Value for money is reasonable. read more

Big hotel, in the middle in the middle of everything. Short distances to the train and bus, Somewhat longer to the beach.
Evenings from time to time events in the hotel and next door shopping by alleys in the old town or nightlife.
Hotel is very anonymous, think due to constant change of the guests( tours, Businessmen, Weddings,
Short break etc.. ) in my opinion nothing for families, the beach vacation want to do, I would a hotel in beach proximity search. In the low season it was reasonable for us. read more

Was for the second time there. In the meantime much done. Public spaces modernized. Also the staff are clearly friendly. Sauna must definitely renovated is an impertinence! Food is however still the shortcoming, in relation to the value for money however completely reasonable. For vacation to a week recommendable! read more

As round trip hotel for a few nights suitable

I agree with the evaluation of Dietmar (January 2012) and will therefore only additions. -in March we would be for about 2 weeks since. The hotel is 'not bad', but less a place to be comfortable. You are on passing-through guests, for 1a 2 days, and it is, thanks to its very central location, well suitable. In our day were mainly Spanish groups of pensioners and British tourists in the hotel, a German round tripTourists. Problem the British saufgruppen, which from lunch loudly until in the deep night noticeable make (' all inclusive'!) and evenings the open part of the ... pool bar people and the entire pool-Side of the hotel beschallen. Even through closed doors/ window you can hear the noise. Also during dinner (some could barely on the last legs) was from table to table herumgegrölt. -food: everything there, but rather cheap Massenabspeisung. - the cleanliness was very good. In the hotel room. Lumpy mattresses, otherwise OK, the bathroom is a hair dryer available. A kettle for coffee/ tea isn't available.-television: German programs: ZDF, Eurosport, RTL, as well as poor reception: ARD, 3 satellite analogue satellite program.-room: pool Side is the sunny side, ' beautiful', but unfortunately loud (see above). read more

We wanted at the beginning of the year a few days more beautiful weather offers in Berlin and chose the Costa del Sol kennezulernen. Torremolinos is no beautiful place (in terms of the development), but by the direct hotel entrance in the main shopping street optimally for our 3-year old daughter, since no cars. To the beach it was a long flight of stairs or for 50 cents with a lift. The beach was very clean and during our travels as good as not visited.
We would for a short break the hotel re-elect. read more

It should be one of the good four star hotels be

Actually it's always again a shame, if you are in southern countries must, through the significant 'ease' good capacities remain unused, in the shade or slow their gloss lose.
The Cervantes has to my impression the conditions for a good four star hotel, but the practice of everyday life in the house some damage.
Centrally located in Torremolinos is located the arrival even by train from the airport Malaga from unproblematically possible, only a few minutes' drive away and a short footpath to the hotel.
The view of the hotel rooms and the roof is just great.
To the beach ... one arrives over a nearby this long stairs, during the day by urban elevator. For excursions for example after Malaga you can easily the cheap train in the immediate area used.
My room was in the size and equipment with a TV, telephone, mini bar (none einbaukühlschrank) and safe good-room, bathroom and balcony always very clean.
Should be emphasized the particular natural friendliness of the cleaning staff-thanks.
The friendliness of the remaining staff was not convincing.
Generally has problems if you are not the Spanish or English language skills. Only a few staff can German words indicate.
Striking, are the different pricing models in the house, the also some confusing appear (only accommodation, only breakfast, half board, half board plus (with free beverages), and all inclusive).
Wi-Fi in the entire hotel and access to the internet via a terminal in the office areas, this but not more contemporary prices.
On the roof there is a sun terrace that looks great, glazed an indoor pool and a fitness room. The very small sauna there, which are only occasionally is opened, is from my memory (a year earlier) actually not worth mentioning( use you should not at all only projects).
Adjacent to the entrance hall with the front desk there is a very large Cafeteria/bar, but to my time stay was not used, and a further bar area in the perceived style of a cafeteria or SB-Halle. It is next to tv and options for playing a Tagesbüfett for the all inclusive- guests and the desk, since the one at good hotel occupancy, in the very long Queue Enqueue can around its evening all inclusive-free drinks to receive (How can you something only village) it is also very loud.
To the restaurant and the meals-through the construction of the chamber and unpleasant noise at good hotel occupancy you found the meals only as mass processing with the goal 'quickly disappeared' here. When offer and selection you can say, it is something from everything, but I know many three star hotels in Spain, since the choice was bigger and better. The quality was for a four star hotel disappointing, especially the prepared, warm dishes dripped usually before oil. Also the waiting times to live kitchen always too long.
Worth mentioning are however the 'free drinks' with the half-board and and all inclusive, especially the self-service -no quantity limit for the three drinkable pool was quite pleasant (not a were an unidentifiable mash house wine) and the draft beer.
In summary: it should be one of the better four star hotels in Torremolinos to be, but I know many three star hotels in Spain, in which they are more comfortable and where the performance is much better. There is but also no reasons, why the Cervantes need to avoid, only the expectations you should cut. read more

Premises and service ok-
But the lower quality of the food sadly leads to the devaluation.
Breakfast buffet : wide choice, but scrambled eggs swimming in fat,
The mushy bacon-fruit nor immature or overripe-
Always only the same tasteless cheese klebeschinken dito!
Buffett not so bad, but completely overpriced if
Subsequently booked. read more

Breakfast and dinner plentiful, but without, for example, on the quality. Counter were fresh fish and meat often burned, with a black, inedible crust. Prawns in frozen condition. Two weeks the same cheese and ham. Inappropriate dressed guests. (Ax, shorts and beach shoes). Constant stream in the dining room, and lounge by front desk jazz music. Sidewalk in front of the hotel by doggie bins were stained. Pot in front of the entrance of the hotel was used as a dope station for dogs. The hotel earns all in all most three stars. read more

We are for the fourth time here. One can drive from the airport to the RENFE and is in a few minutes to get there. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The quality of the beach was good and very clean and nice. The hotel itself is very pleasant. Draw back is the elevators, it takes... Otherwise, completely satisfied and we will be back. read more

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool on the 9. floor! In the summer the roof is postponed and one has a view over the entire beach and the area! Neither the pool on the roof nor the pool in the garden were crowded! You can recover wonderful! The rooms are tidy, large enough and absolutely quiet! My daughters 16 and 13 years were very impressed and would exactly like i will stay here again have a vacation!
The hotel cervantes was directly in the center and to the beach it is also not far! read more

Not a four star hotel

Thanks to the truly good location and bus connection, the commercial, tourist attractions and (also authentic) restaurants and bars a nice place to stay. The service within the hotel is not acceptable but in parts, the reception is no help to expect, if, for example, the telephone or the safe not working. The elevator got stuck twice, it did not come anybody. Are we still come out. English is only very badly spoken (not German at all); you should keep a lot of Spanish vocabulary can be prepared.
The dinner is acceptable, but with Spanish cuisine has to do only ... little. For breakfast you can be the one or the other fruit not treat (the really good!), no friend of if you typically english kitchen (toast, beans, scrambled eggs, bacon) is. The offer of desserts is very extensive and is not in relation to 'healthy', Mediterranean cuisine.
However, if you're luck has, can a wonderful large balcony with sea view get.
All in all: for the service a big minus for various defects and the decor (sometimes no lamp shades etc.) and defective facilities: not a four star hotel. read more

Good hotel for guests, the not daily to the beach and with the nearby tram often want to explore the area.
After a week the food is then something boring.
Jam as often bad-to bring one from home!
Internet 10 cents per minute with extremely slow keyboard. Also expensive-the WIFI in the internet cafe near legend (1 per hour).
Pool on the roof not to underestimate-great views and good to time just to relax, we would have expected so not.
Journey from the airport is a breeze with public train. For friends of IKEA: between the airport and you can ... within 10 minute-Torremolinos walk the store-good to eat ☺ read more

Hotel is centrally located and in the immediate vicinity of the train and bus service. The planning of excursions is therefore relatively easy also with öfftl. Transport was possible the food in the hotel was really good, you must keep in mind in the Southern countries, not everything is as you eat so hot it cooks. ☺ read more
