- Room
I was disappointed from the rooms, the certainly once seen better days have. The standard rather modern (tv flachbildgerät, wi-fi), but for example doors and windows have a 80-charm. Otherwise the lobby is very modern and inviting.
Also the bathroom more like a Ibis Hotel remember, with plastic sink and plastic shower.
Kettle for coffee and tea available.
No closed closet available, but only open shelves in the hall. The booked superior room was with prom. Sofa was a sofa bed out.
Wireless internet worked perfectly, free of charge in my stay.
- Gastronomy
Large breakfast area (restaurant), where you always find a place is. Sufficient quality and variety at the breakfast buffet. Certainly i stayed in a Novotel already better buffets experienced, but it is still acceptable. Only the wmf coffee maker didn't bother me the milk powder instead of fresh milk for the preparation of coffee to take. Staff were almost not to see. The tables were cleared always only, if you were finished.
In the evening, i have the restaurant in the hotel used, the a good quality offered at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff, one english card brought.
For children there is a children's play area with toys, tv etc.
- Service
Friendly check-in, the staff also had sufficient english knowledge.
Room is very clean.
Only the staff in the restaurant could also occasionally once the tables clearing and not even, if you the breakfast has finished.
- Sport & Entertainment
Small outdoor pool with sun loungers available.
- Hotel
The hotel is in a larger complex. In the neighboring building is a Ibis Hotel attached, as frequently in France the accor hotel group usual.
Near my stay at the weekend almost exclusively private individuals, many have the hotel as station passing through elective.
Underground garage available (optional ), however only for vehicles up to 1.95 meters height.
- Location
The hotel is for a longer indulgence in lyon rather less. The hotel is in the 7. district 'gerland', a mischviertel from apartments, offices and enterprises. The nearest metro-station 'debourg' you need on foot around 10 to 15 minutes. With 1 change one is then about minutes drive at the 'hotel de ville'.
The hotel itself is located on a kreisverkehrskreuzung, the motorway (Marseille-Paris) it is only 500 metres away.
Purchase possibilities i no discovered, but there are some small restaurants (chinese, italian ) nearby.
