The hotel is huge but nevertheless very well arranged. It ranges from single rooms to large apartments. The condition was very well-kept and everything is clean. The internet is on the rooms fee in the lobby still free. In the hotel there are three different restaurants. And two bars. In the hotel you find many international guests from young to old. read more

    So we had an apartment for 4 people! This was about 55 square meters 2 large and has a small kitchen (sink, stove, cooling, equipment (silverware, pots, etc.) Moreover, there were in the room tv, telephone, safety deposit box, sofa bed, dining area and 1 bedroom (4 people) In the bathroom there is a hair dryer, shower, toilet, sink and a large mirror. On the balcony there were chairs and a table. - all information from the respective booking depart!

    As mentioned, in the Dorint are 3 restaurants and 2 bars available. The quality of the meals is very good. In a restaurant, the map and the style typical of the country and quaint. In the other more modern and international dishes. The 3. asks italian and swiss cuisine. (has not always open). The prices are for a 4 star hotel just.

    The hotel offers a large indoor swimming pool, a large sauna area, a gym, outdoor playground, table tennis, mini golf course, billiard room and a bowling alley. The leisure activities are a bit dated but the sauna area, as well as the swimming pool and fitness room was fabulous.

    The hotel is located in longest village of europe and in approximately 1200 meters height. To the next larger city (interlaken) you can travel approximately 20 minutes to the next bigger airports are in Bern, Zürich, Basel and Lausanne. The hotel is located not directly in the village center, but this also on foot reach. Also runs a bus between beatenberg and interlaken (see above) The gondola lift to the ski area, some meters away. There were plenty of excursion possibilities many and you will be pleased in the hotel advised.

The rooms didn't correspond to the latest standard, offer nevertheless everything (except radio reception), so you feel comfortable. In the small bathroom it is missing at nothing. The breakfast buffet is perfect! The spa -facilities my expectations fully met. Only criticism: the evening meal (a la carte ) in the restaurant i was disappointed. For me was right here value for money absolutely not; since catered for you better eat out. read more

The breakfast was perfect. You have a wide selection. Something for everyone. Unfortunately was the supper not warm and always buffet with cheap meat. The bathroom is very small. But there is a new clean wellness area. The staff are friendly. read more

2 days short stay with a dog. Beautiful large room, balcony with dreamlike view on the lake of Thun and the mountain landscape! We enjoyed the dog felt really good and guaranteed once again for longer go there! read more

We knew the hotel and beatenberg already prior to and knew, that the entrance to beatenberg, quite winding and also takes some time. Because of a good price-transportation situation we had nevertheless for this hotel decided. In principle we only in the hotel and in the morning for breakfast. During the rest of the time we stayed mostly on lake Thun and in the area on, with Swiss friends to meeting. The hotel room and the balcony were very generous. The view from the balcony was impressive, but our room not in the forefront to the lake was. It was ... still a complex before. Nevertheless we had a pretty good view. The design of the room there was no reason to the complaint. Altogether we felt in the few time very comfortable. For breakfast we found out, that it is useful, getting up early. From 8:30 A. M. was the breakfast restaurant very busy. The dishes were quickly. We liked the in buffet integrated cookery. Every morning we could our eggs individually select and this was a cook freshly prepared. At the buffet there was in principle nothing to complain about. Which I however noticed: the fruit salad was from the 'tin'. There was but also fresh fruit. Altogether I can Dorint Hotel Beatenberg recommend it. In the port we stayed still a couple of days at the Lindner Grand Hotel Beau rivage in Interlaken on. If I between the two hotels select needs, would my choice clearly on Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage. Although the HolidayCheck-review there was much worse, we felt at the Lindner in Interlaken much better repealed. But it depends on the personal expectations at. read more

Your description' comfort of the highest standard' is not true! 2. bedroom in suite Bodenalp is an old chamber. The bathroom is tiny. 75% d. hotel guests Arabs. Male. Guests very unfriendly. Entrance area of the hotel and bar mediocre. The hotel we have for over 15 years ago and never again %BLANK%! It has of a first Class Hotel down economized and stops with international standards not more! read more

Great hotel with a five stars service. The serving staff are all very friendly and accommodating. There is the feeling, as a large family action, the the hotel leads. Wellness area with a 85 degrees sauna, a sanarium and a steam bath. Everything very generous and very clean. There was no reason something to complain about. For us the hotel has earned five stars! We will definitely come again, as there is relaxing totally announced in this silence. You hear nothing, except that the birds chirping and that is nature PURE! read more

The hotel lies high above lake Thun and offers an unbelievably beautiful view, from the you can't enough can get. Possibilities for excursions in the area are very good, however the best reachable by car. The hotel is in certain places somewhat in need of renovation, for example Minigolf course, A Billiard table. The food menu was excellent, the buffet was good and cheap ( for Swiss standards ). The staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

This was our second stay. And we loved it again. Fortunately music noise in the sauna apparently story. The staff were again exceptionally friendly and helpful. Small requests were very quick performed. The room was again absolutely sufficient. A shortcoming is however the missing free internet access. There is a free( Wi-Fi?) area in the field of front desk, but I drag on vacation no laptop with. In other hotels, it was without any problems possible, on a public Terminal quickly emails or an information request. 5 francs for once email queries? the hotel is good on children furnished. You ... had to know that. Really nice for families, but the peace area in the sauna is not always quiet. And for breakfast or dinner it can quite also times uncertain. but all together it is a for Switzerland almost reasonably priced hotel with a above average sauna area and indoor swimming pool. We will gladly a third time. read more

The Hotel is superbly located and with good weather the views from the balcony are spectacular. I had a two-floor apartment which was very big. The decor is dated but is clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is big, by hotel standards, though there is not much room to lounge by it (in winter, anyway). I found the service in the restaurant was either slow or very slow and the quality of food on the set menu was a little disappointing, by the very high standards of this type of hotel in Switzerland. ... Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good. The price of my package was such good value, that I am almost embarrassed to say anything negative! There is free wi-fi in the reception area only and ought to be available in the rooms. It would be good to have an internet station with a printer. I went mid-week in February and the hotel and village were very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy some of the best scenery and walking that Switzerland has to offer, (and without spending a lot of money), this hotel is the place to come. I would certainly go back. read more

We booked this hotel for very good found. The spa offer was right for us, as we wanted, except that the water in the swimming pool for us a bit too cold was. The quality of our daughter was spick-and-span. It had a games room, where you could have fun. Also the food was brilliant. Particularly the buffet. Also the breakfast struck us the language. It had everything, but really everything. The rooms are very nice, except for the toilet/ shower area. The pool was found to be of the person a bit too cramped. But everything other was brilliant. ... We are very much looking forward to go back here. read more

gladly again anytime, warm regards to the great team! We had the suite 85qm alpenrose, large newly furnished living room with of a dated but adequate kitchen, two newly furnished bedrooms and a new big and a new small bathroom in the upper floor, balcony in the direction of the Eiger, monk and Jungfrau mountains. We stayed over Christmas and new year's Eve there, simply genial! Open daily from 16:00 to the free mulled wine about snow bar, then delicious food in one of the new restaurants, all requests for special occasions (birthday decoration with sparkling wine) was perfect ... met, the service and the friendliness of the Dorint beatenberg doesn't improve. Then a conclusion in the Muhbar! During the day, saunas, swimming, fitness, everything, only 300 meters from the ski lift, constantly bus service. Try it, better and it couldn't have been friendlier! read more

We have the new year in this hotel and had a really nice and relaxing time. The hotel is very large, which led, that it (probably even in the school holidays) at certain peak times, saunas and at the front desk quite crowded. Altogether the hotel is but that's furnished, you will find a in the restaurants always a place. The spa area - the we every day intensively used-was probably just been renovated and very appealingly designed. There is always fresh towels, fresh fruit and water, and if not just all from skiing to return everything is nice and ... quiet and relaxing. We had only breakfast additionally booked, around evenings the different offers of the hotel to use. There are different restaurants, partly quite quaint, and the food variety is altogether good. The highlight of the hotel is however the location - the view from all balconies on Eiger, monk and Jungfrau mountains and lake Thun is stunning. Beatenberg itself has otherwise unfortunately not lots to offer, but obviously many attractions and winter sports region. The hotel convinced on the first and on the second view in every way. Friendly staff, an excellent cuisine, a good infrastructure (every hour towards Interlaken) as well as the dreamlike location dorint beatenberg make it in a unique resort. In the hotel's own wellness area (saunas, swimming pool, Turkish) you can completely relax.
