Who a small, informal hotel in beautiful surroundings secluded from tourist hotspots are looking for, is right at home here. The hotel is very clean and functional. For problems and tips at Anke always an ear to lend. We didn't like in a hotel felt, but how with friends to visit. The sudden onset of winter in Germany sat guests at the airport firm. Also here Anke and herumtelefoniert around these guests to help. For a 2 star hotel were our expectations more than satisfied. We will be back. read more

    We had an airco in the room, although we a room without climate had booked. Thank you Anke. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean. If you 4-star luxury on the 2 stars price expected, will be disappointed (greed is not awesome). We felt really comfortable. In the corridor stands a fridge and kettle can be used.

    In march are, of course, not all restaurants open. We were very much a greek snack. That was very delicious and incredibly cheap. Especially i Gyros or lamb recommend. However, you should not strict german hygiene rules as a benchmark. We were generally of the good value for money surprised. Also the greeks always very polite to us.

    In 5 minutes one is at the port or at the beach. In the town there were enough restaurants and shops. As we start march in agia galini were, had naturally many restaurants and shops closed. For us it was but nevertheless sufficient for cheap and delicious food. Anke gives you good advice. Who of Kreta want to see, you should have rent a car. Either of Germany from renting or Anke questions. Since we only in the evening in heracleon arrived, gave us the car rentals at the airport, directly through the mountains after agila galini to drive, but the motorway Rethymnon. Makes the do not. We were 11/2 hours more on the way. The direct way of heracleon after agia galini is also at night not a problem at all.

    Room 212 is ok. Large, simple but functional. The brown tiles in the bathroom come from the 70., lovely. In room 212 you should not too heavy are, otherwise it will be on the toilet cramped. The magnificent sea view with vitreous balcony is by absolutely nothing to exceed.

    The room was every day tidy, the beds made, every 2. day we had fresh towels. The hotel is from Anke run, the very outgoing, present and attentive is, without being pushy. The atmosphere was, certainly by the few guests, very relaxed and familiar. Whatever the problem emerges, Anke will sovereign a solution.

    The hotel is located on a plateau above the sea. Beach, restaurants etc. Are is a few minutes walk away. The place itself is located in a beautiful bay, more of Kreta to see but you should rent a car.

It was a magnificent vacation from a to z, in Anke we have felt like at home! A heart of a people! The other hotel guests were also very nice and there were many beautiful conversation at the rich breakfast buffet with seats with a sea view \u263a. Number of rooms and size see website. Our room was not too big. The condition is wholeheartedly the two stars. Rooms and all other rooms in the house always very clean. We had overnight stay with breakfast, wifi is available free of charge. The average age from young to old, mostly couples, while we were there almost only german speaking. read more

    Our room had the usual greek standard for two stars. To the left of the door a closet, right toilet with open shower. Straight door to small balcony with a fantastic sea view, the right is a double bed with two nightstands. Room is rather small and very early warm through direct sunlight. Telephone and air-conditioning on request at a charge available. On the balcony has a small table with two chairs. Our balcony had direct contact with the left neighbors.

    There is only the small frühstücksspeisesaal with picturesque small squares in the open. in the dining room it was pleasantly cool. There is also a small bar, where the guests on request also drinks. The breakfast is simply and enough and was always refilled immediately.

    The beach is about 200 meters away, see also vista the website. Very steep downhill, but keeps you fit the gluttony. Airport Heraklion about 1,5 hours away. We booked through the hostess a very friendly taxi driver booked. Worked very well. There without a car we have no other places visited. In the small picturesque village of there is very lots of taverns and the usual shops. From the hotel some distances to the right in the place, mostly steep. If you are not as steep can walk, then you should the main street behind the hotel use. In town there was no through traffic. Behind the hotel also stops the bus. Diagonally behind the hotel also a very good super market for greek standards.

Delicious breakfast with daily changing choice with fresh products far over greek standard until 11:00 o'clock. Clean rooms, friendly staff. The tenant worries about all matters personally and immediately. Within a short walk distance very good restaurants. Rental car for excursions and hikes recommendable. Can also be rented onsite. Although it only a couple of steps to the bay, to restaurants and other shops are, the hotel lies quiet on the hillside and you have some rooms from a great view on the sea. Galini mare is a gemütlcihes small hotel with a very nice inner courtyard, the fast to my favorite place was. Anke creates a homey atmosphere, in which you rather with friends as a guest in the hotel and deals also with individual wishes and needs. From Anke you get good recommendations for trip and restaurant. The rooms with a small balcony are spacious and well equipped. Wether restaurant or beach everything is close by. Here I come gladly again. read more

The galini mare its positive reviews here and in other Portals absolutely do it justice. A very clean run, small two star hotel with feel good factor. The rooms are simple, however for us these were with the coerced equipped. The cleaning of the rooms worked without any problems. Bed sheets every four and towels changed every two days. An airco is not in every room., however was the ceiling ventilator in our room completely sufficiently, since this nice covered with greenery inner courtyard showed, the much shade offered. The sufficient breakfast buffet you could in the breakfast room or ... outside small tables in the shade a wonderful, large Zitronenbaumes to take. Whether sweet or hearty, there was something for every taste! Wi-Fi in the whole hotel free of charge., great! There is no pool, it is the sea quasi 'right' in front of the house! If you're looking for German contacts, is in the right place here. At the time of our stay were too many German tourist present. The weather in September is absolutely great and the sea from the summer beautiful heated-). Anke, the German owner of the hotel is great. She pampered the guests, look, it all goes well and has very good foreign languages skills. She runs the 'galini mare' with a big heart. Because the hotel on the hillside, the' hike' uphill for older people perhaps a bit cumbersome be?! Walking downhill one reaches a multiplicity beautiful taverns, the to stay a while inviting, also bars and supermarkets cross the road. The food in the various pub is versatile and affordable. Agia galini is a beautiful town with small, pretty, winding streets, only the beach is not to our taste been. In my opinion there is in the North-West the island far more attractive beaches. To other places, beaches or sights on Kreta to explore, is a rental car essential! All together it was a very nice and relaxing vacation and this hotel we could definitely recommend. The hotel is on the edge of the town agia galinini. It has a manageable number of rooms, the lovingly decorated. The daily cleaning leaves nothing to be desired. I had only booked accommodation and breakfast, the breakfast exceeded the greek standard by far. The average age of the guests ranged from middle 20 to 60 years. At the time of our stay came all the guests from Germany. read more

    Our double room consisted of a bedroom with double bed, two bedside tables, a couch, a closet and a sideboard, a bathroom and a balcony. The bedroom was approximately 18 meters² large. The mattresses in bed were high quality and not worn, everything was clean, the bathroom has its best time far behind, however everything worked. An airco was in the room, was however not used, since it was not necessary. A safe is located in the area the front desk and can be used free of charge.

Various types of sausage amongst others salami completed next to various schnittkäsen, sheep cheeses, olives, tomatoes, marmelade, yoghurt, cereal, muesli and honey the breakfast buffet from. Furthermore each morning water- or melons offered. The breakfast was in buffet form offered, tables there were in the restaurant, as well as in the lying off garden. Not only during breakfast there was an informal and light atmosphere.

    From the airport is agile galini right far away, compared to other ferieninseln. Good 80 minutes by car by a beautiful landscape you have to take into account, around the hotel to reach. As a reward you reach but a hotel with a unique view of the harbor and a great view on the sea. About 300 meters is the sandy beach with local dining. The place offers shops of every kind, as well as a variety of good restaurants, the beach was simply fabulous. Due to the but rather limited possibilities larger distances in a reasonable timeframe to overcome offers the location is an ideal starting point for exploration the objectives chantia and Rethymnon, as well as feast, Matala and landos are easy to reach.

Vacation under friends! We in our 7 days felt really good. Anke always had for us time, every day a good tip for excursions, food and strandmöglichkeiten. Breakfast delicious and sufficient. We are definitely coming again! read more
