Positive: large but nevertheless very clean and beautiful laid out complex. Plenty of greenery, palm trees, flowers... Make for brilliant atmosphere.
Negative:
Day 1:5 hours early arrival. Shock: room not finished yet. Check in first from o'clock possible. Waiting time 9 hours in the hotel ( front desk) partly asleep on sofas spent. Annoying and very loud tourist from Russia, Poland, with their infants. read more

Positive:
Large, extensive, very tidy and attractive complex. Food varied, always fresh and constantly refilled ( all inclusive), no empty bowls, trays etc.
Room simple,
Criticism: room: dust on mirrors, bed, 3 German tv programs, inconvenient: only 1 room key with the river activated, second key has this function.
On some rooms no privacy on balcony/ terrace, since no partition respectively only small wall to separation. Room very badly soundproofed.
Russian/ Polish families with small children in clear majority both on the complex as well as at the beach! We were glad a German voice heard! read more

The Marmari beach is a beautiful family-friendly hotel. The staff also fulfilled individual wishes and informed the guests on specific characteristics of the holiday region. We were 14 days in the Marmari beach and I can negative reviews other User not understand.
The hotel is directly at the long and wide sandy beach, depending on location the room is different in the complex. The beach, the pools and the rest of the hotel is good well maintained and it is always therefore endeavors everything in to. Also is the service top, especially are the waiters in the dining room to point out, the always tried hard that you get a table and this was, if the predecessors was to be found, immediately cleaned. Also the ... other waiter at the different bars were quick and always eager to make sure that you never too long waits.
The food we could like other User wrote nothing to find fault with! On the contrary often we ate way too many or could not try everything. For breakfast one had the possibility between coffee, tea, milk, Kakaomilch, water and different juices choose. The food you had the choice of fruit, Cornfleakes, bread, toast, different sausage- and sliced cheese to different vegetables and warm dishes (scrambled and fried egg, Sausages, beans and different with different filling) lunch was really daily pasta to find, but that is in the hotel description! Also found fries, various salads, Hännchen, a Arte greek. Casserole or Geschnetzelten, but this is from day to day was different. For dinner you found next to fresh salad, fruits and various desserts also pasta but also very many type. Greek. Dishes like for instance Gyros, Souvlaki, Suzuki, Moussaka, rice, etc. Who says he could not meat found, the is either at the salad buffet stuck or should once the ophthalmologist go! Also positive should be emphasized, with every meal special Baby food ready for me, that we had before in any hotel seen.
To the rooms can be said, that subject was room you get. We had first one which somewhat small and the decor not in the newest condition was, but after a short request we could us a new room reputation, which larger cut and already renovated and much modern equipped was. To points of criticism of other Users, you could only a toilet with bath in the room I must honestly say-at which apartment there are already 2 bathrooms, this is probably the exception;-)
The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were always friendly.
To the entertainment possibilities you could say, you had to a different possibilities in the hotel( Midget Golf, Tennis, etc.) but also around the hotel you will find example different shops, bars, Tavernnen or a surfing school.
We had two very nice weeks of vacation and were sad when this was over. We will definitely come again:-) read more

The biggest disappointment was the seeming and unloving food-we had all inclusive, the last few days but always outward eat out, because it was simply not more went. Totally overcooked, no meat, only noodles and altogether very poor quality Fare.
In addition, that the hotel initially was overbooked and we for three days into another hotel were outsourced, the 400 meters further away from the beach was. Our tour operator Alltours was not helpful and no assistance. With which, never again.

The complex is very large, but well arranged! The rooms are situated in a wonderful, well maintained garden area! It is a smokers -friendly hotel. All inclusive- well- besides water, Ouzo and beer was everything else rather not enjoyable. Red wine much too warm. Soft drinks too sweet (machine). read more

Contrary to other reviews we can't about the food and so on rant. There was always sufficient and very good cooked. The hotel and the beach is ideally suited for families.
The connections to Kos (city) are great, the bus station almost on the doorstep.
The staff were constantly tried and very friendly.
Supermarkets are in the immediate area, bars and taverns also. We can only recommend the hotel. read more

Relaxing family vacation in much too small room. Perhaps there is the catalog family room with a separate bedroom, we had none of them. Because I the vacation not by a complaint and a move even spoil wanted, I the small room reckoned and against the direct location by the pool in the out.
All in all it was ok. , but I would not again go there. The place is boring and has no flair, if you evenings somewhat undertake would like to, you have to by bus to Kos. read more

This hotel is simply recommendable. The family rooms were big and spacious, if also not super modern but very clean. The Chambermaids were very nice and friendly. The area is very, very beautiful, the pools, as well as the nearby beach also. The food was always tasty. Who finds here nothing it is your own fault. You can also in the outdoor area food. Nice. The front desk they have to be praised. Our son got sick. Within 1 hour was a very nice, competent doctor there and within 2 hours we had the medicine. Strong praise. Couldn't be better. ... Really sharpened was the entertainment from alltoura with team Leader Franzi and your team Sven, Ervin, Julia, Daniela eTC. Many thanks their love for the beautiful days. You gave you a lot of trouble. The children had have fun, we also, and the shows evenings were really entertaining. At the end of the vacation there were tears, there the children gladly could have stayed longer. The says it all. We can not understand, why the hotel a lot of bad reviews get. But if you are looking for, you will always find something. Also during our stay were Russians next to Swiss and Italians in the hotel. Na and? Disturbed us that not and misbehaving they are not. Me nerves much more German, the super important and everywhere nitpick. It is reasonable value for money in any case and we had a great holiday. read more

We have a wonderful vacation spend. My two daughters stayed at the farewell cried and did not come back home. A special thanks on the whole animation team. The entertainers were always in a good mood, the whole offer just in the exercise area was excellent. Also the evening shows were with a lot of love and a lot of heart made. The hotel is wonderful and lovingly arranged, through the large area has to not at all notice how lots of guests were there. The whole hotel staff from the waiters, barkeeper and staff at the reception was very ... friendly and accommodating. Also the food in the restaurant was very varied, often also different fish dishes. We were satisfied all around and would come back again. Only downside was a small room for 3 people, the extra bed was a couch with mattress. The could have been better. read more

Careful very lots of Russians 60-65%, is disturbing.
Very much pasta dishes not many Greek food and hardly any meat.
The rooms are small however for a one time vacation enough.
Watch out renovated and not renovated room, perhaps when booking right mood eighth.
The staff are through the bank way very friendly, especially the pool staff around Stamatis, Tomas and small George really brilliant.
In short: was very oK but I would not again book. read more

In July 2012 we were with two friendly families in the Marmari beach, the complex velvet pools and pool bar is really beautiful. Beach is very nice, if someone like surf is everything available. The island gives scenic not much, not comparable with Santorin or Zakyntos, the sport possibilities are limited. A trip from hotel to Kos city by bus (€4-per person) it takes about half an hour and was quite nice, the food however in the beach taverns relatively expensive and not outstanding. With our organizer we had only 6 days, since we on the day of arrival late and on the day of departure at 08:15 again to the airport drove. Recommendable. Again at any time gladly. Beautiful clean hotel. Had a clean family room with two balconies; with a view of the complex. Staff were friendly and spoke partly also German. Only at the front desk could a German, that should änden. Because the Russians did not have to speak English, they were from the staff in your native language understood. read more
