Hotel NH Vienna Airport^{(4 stars)}

Seemed nice, small and maybe some spots on the bedcover. I could hear noises most of the night as I mentioned earlier. Room service completely failed to pay attention to any detail forgetting the spoon with the soup orders, most likely microwaved the soup with one of the covers upside down, crown of the cover in the soup, stale bread! I may have even encountered some small insect bites around hairline, back of neck while sleeping!

I had the chicken wings from the only bar in the hotel, maybe you should try something else. I order soup, really how can you mess it up? It was probably microwaved with one of the covers turned upside down, different size bowls and oh yeah, they forgot the spoon-soup and spoon, soup and spoon, not fork and knife! The buffet looked inviting but I could do it for 25-30Euros.

Bar service wasn't bad and from the looks of what I saw the burger appeared good. I had the chicken wings and they were burnt to a crisp! They looked like they came from a "free-range" chicken. My advice is show up with your own bottle in your room because of what you end up paying you could've have probably bought your own indulgment twice over. Room service was a splurge I don't normally use it but I was up a little late compiling my expense report. I ordered room service with two bowls of soup and of course a service charge was included-why not! I started looking at the bowls of soup, one cover was upside down (reverse) two bowls were different in size and oh yeah, they forgot the spoon, the bread was stiff....soup was not consistent, watered down, newly microwaved on the way to your door because you could tell the soup boiled in the bowl hitting the underside of the cover. Oh yeah, they had to return with a spoon! Front Desk assistance-I tried to have some receipts emailed to my internet account on two separate occasions tipping both times-never saw the email! Upon check out-mentioined my concerns when checking out, to include the email access I paid 8 Euro for instead of trying to use the "free" interent that hardly worked. I overheard the assistant manager tell my clerk, "I should have read the notice" I said of course I did but for what I've spent for a night in your hotel (total 248.53 Euro/$321.00US) maybe you can compensate the paid internet. Clerk told me I could voice my opinion and he apologized while the assistant manager could have cared less. Standing in front of the desk for check-in you're just one of the cattle.

Fitness area was on your own liability. Dirty towels were left against the wall along with empty water bottles. Sauna area didn't appear too bad but small. For a hotel of this "notoriety" you would expect more similar to what I expected and experienced staying at other brand named hotels.

When I first saw the hotel while dropping one of our colleagues at the airport I thought maybe it's worth a chance to really have a nice night before I depart for the states. Unfortunately it turned out to be much less than I what I expected.

I chose the NH because of it's location and internet appearance. It's really the only show in town at the airport. The Hotel takes full advantage of their location at your detriment-be prepared to pay.
