Beautifully renovated hotel in the Pelorinho archiviert
- August 2011
The hotel is located on the central square Villa Bahia Anchieta/Largo do Cruzeiro praca de Sao Francisco Pelorinho (pedestrian zone) of, of the renovated part of the old city of Salvador, with a partial view of the church igreja de Sao Francisco. It is a renovated colonial house with a big effort, whose rooms and rooms for that reason alone is worth seeing-the presentation on the website www. lavillabahia. COM is absolutely correct. We have never stayed in a hotel, where everything so harmonious except for the smallest detail with colonial antiques was, even the special stilechte staff clothes. We ... had on the first floor the rooms 'Goa ' (the rooms are named after the colonies of Portugal) with a view of the square. Facilities: medium sized rooms with bathroom, WC and shower room, airconditioning (rule and adjustable), large four-poster bed, floor high windows with Innenläden, wooden floors, safety deposit box, mini bar, telephone, free and fast Wi-Fi Internet, sky LCD tv (sky, German channels: Deutsche Welle tv), hair dryer; comfortable leseecken in Hotel, small courtyard with tropical plants, next to a small courtyard with pool and outdoor shower, restaurant, during the day the tables in front of the hotel in the square. The extensive breakfast was served at the table in the restaurant or on request in the sunny atrium, had the scope of a buffet early contribution: coffee from the Italian espresso machine, freshly squeezed Organgensaft, omelette, or eggs to order, breads, croissants, cakes, fresh fruits and other local, so much one was hungry. Since you are in the middle of Pelorinho is, from the hotel you can reach everything on foot and in the evenings the police secure old town. Recommendations: folklore how Teatro Santana (Rua Gregorio do Matos, Hotel toward the right and then the next street on the right, about two blocks away, 35 Reais, maps from 16 hours, 20 hours beginning), with the city bus 'Praia de flamengo-praca de se ' to the beaches or Itapoa Praia de Praia de flamengo in/out privileges (starts on Altstadtterminal close to the elevador lacerda on the corner of the Palacio Rio Branco, three Reais in the bus pay, about 45-60 minutes drive, you must try the pool towels of the hotel hired); restaurant Maria Mata Mouro (Rua da Ordem Terceira 8, near the hotel, Hotel left abandoned, then the next Road left a few doors down, on the left side, table in the courtyard reserve). The service was perfect in every way. Languages: Portuguese, French, English. The hotel is a 100% IgE recommendation!
My girlfriend loved it! archiviert
- January 2011
On our journey toward Chapada Diamantina, we have a night spent in the Callicut room, with a view of the church of... My girlfriend was thrilled by at this quaint hotel in the middle of the old city, unfortunately not very cheap, but therefor very hospitable and thank goodness, someone who speaks English! Even without a night you have seen this house if you Salvador visited! Just sit outside and drink a caipirinha or (my opinion) the smallest pool in the world visit in the inner courtyard (Grand)!

It is an absolutely fabulous property located in the very colonial style equipped, even the staff is dressed. The rooms are as at the turn of the century. It is centrally located in the old city.
