The food is great. Every day another slogan and a great choice. Every day i would have only the dessert full can eat!

They are all very polite and well to the needs of of the guests!

It is every day water aerobics or Volleyball offered. In the pool house you can water sports book!

Full of excitement, anticipation and great expectations are we early in the morning in the hotel arrived. The first impression was wonderful. We were greeted with a cool drinks courteous and could immediately in the large, clean rooms with open bathroom and a balcony with a view of the sea check in. The rooms become several times on the day cleanly made and the staff was very polite and friendly. The food is very wide-ranging and i enjoyed it every day great. We have then also quite fast our hochzeitsplanerin, Monika beumers, met. It is probably the best one thing Maritius can happen. It has our dream wedding at the beach organized and us also otherwise every wish from our eyes. The hotel photographer, sandiren, has extremely great pictures. We are very happy with our vacation in the Sofitel.

Broad beach, the guests can 9 hectares distribute and so you never got the feeling, that it is too full!

We had a luxury room, with scarcely 50 meters² super big. Since the partition of the bathroom removal could, it was possible the shower or the bathtub from on the beach and the ocean to see! Through the very green, massive and top maintained hotel there was also a variety of birds, the our day with twitter start left. The large towels on the ceiling looked, we thought of a four-poster bed without linkage, later we checked out, that this towels down falling geckos hold. Through these small lizards, but mostly on the balcony there was bugs scared away. Many locals have confirmed for us, which we on the infinitely long walks on the beach already commented: the Sofitel is probably the best the island and in addition come still the sunsets, the really unbelievably beautiful were.

We have next to the main -restaurant the winebar and the chinese (3 times) visit, the beach restaurant we skipped, since they do not tables at the beach set up, as it too windy found. The japanese we skipped... The winebar was good, however, you will need time. After an hour came only the first course... The chinese was really unique, the best chinese food, that we have ever had eaten! In the main -restaurant the food was quite good but not stunning, as austrians one is spoiled! The prices in the bars and restaurants borders a cheek: a beer for about €8, -(for 0.4 litres) is unacceptable, as you in flic en flac only paid about half the price and probably in a touristic bar for much less.

The mostly indian staff turns over to friendliness and courtesy. Often a the buffet plates whisked away, so that one not so difficult to table to wear. Unfortunately is the official language English, however under the mauritanern creole spoken and apart from that mostly french. The English, that some inhabitants speak is sometimes only hard to understand. The cleaning of the rooms was done well, but could have been better ( on arrival alien hairs in the bath, partly on the dusting 'forget'). When we once a problem with the key card our room had, was the housekeeper within 2 minutes with us. The broken mini bar ( not cool), was only after 2 days successful response. But the instead ordered ice bucket within a few minutes!

The animation was perfectly decent, maybe twice someone came to our beach chair and informed us, that at o'clock something take place and if we want... You could every evening prior to at the in the room ready located program all email confirmations, even when happy hour in the bars was, since cost the cocktails 'only' 6,50 Euro! Also the hotel area strange beach vendors were reserved. The pool is super-large but it was 20 degrees right freshly.

The Sofitel is not all the latest hotel, offers however absolutely the comfort of a 5-star hotel europe's.

The location on the western part the island is regarding the sunsets simply great. Of the more than 6 kilometer long sandy beach is really top! By the difference of tide and ebb of around 3 to 4 meters is a lovely window beach part (at low tide) to cover from far distances for example after flic en flac the spar around with reasonable drinks they quote... We were as 45 minutes, by bus ( bus station approximately 10 minutes out) it was just more 5 to 10 minutes! At the beach itself is the area of the sofitel from the spot was very generously designed, often between the chairs 10 to 15 meters space! We have several excursions made: *) waterplaneflight grand gaube (north) way around €159, -for half an hour absolutely brilliant. (over Maritius attraction via www booked) *) underwaterwalk locally in grand baie in the north made for 29,10 Euro minutes, was ok. I found the number of the different fish species not so overwhelming, as we had in Egypt better experiences made. *) drive to the south of FTI-tourism in the hotel booked was very interesting (€62, was worth the money) *) casella bird park by bus -> absolutely worth seeing! *) pamplemousses and much more in the north with a taxi (via taxi stand in flic en flac the taxi, this is cheaper than a taxi from the hotel organized or one to take, that in front of the hotel stands.) unfortunately our drivers not particularly good English, mention because German, this you should keep in mind! *) the glass from the hotel was great, because we not only fish, but also plenty of dolphin next to and under the boat looked. *) a catamaran drive made possible us as many dolphins to see and snorkeling!

- huge, clean, attractive, with a large flat screen tv, Beautiful balcony, a walk-in closet, bathroom with 'family shower', two washbasin, bath tub and the delay of the walls with a view of the sea, separate toilet Air conditioning is a little noisy. Every day 2 bottles of water, as well as coffee and tea in the room. Free safe

- except in buffet restaurant ( every evening another issue) you can within the half board in jacaranda ( fish restaurant at the beach), the wine corner and the ming court (chinese ) without an extra charge dinner (only certain dishes for example lobster are at extra cost) - the quality of the dishes in all restaurants excellent

- we have absolutely no sympathy for some of the previous application, which the waiters criticize. All hotel employees were very friendly, attentive and had for all wishes or questions an ear to lend. - much praise goes to the entire staff and of course Monika, the German guest relations manager

- the pool is extremely attractive, but against the wonderful beach no chance:-) Entertainment and sport the whole day unobtrusive offered, but we hardly used, since we much on the way were. - sports nearly everything is included in the price! The access to the internet is free of charge. The beach is the cleanest in the entire hotel area wolmar/flic en flac, is every day meticulously cleaned and it offers more space than all other hotel gate. - the loungers are from wood with thick, comfortable cushions and the distance to the next neighbors is unbeatable! There was while we were there more beach chairs as guests - nobody should therefore have a 'place anytime' conduct. The water is clear and warm, however not deep-for swimmer is then rather the pool suited. There is boutiques in the hotel and some shops in flic en flac. - unfortunately were the evening shows not richly visited, since the drink prices very high-this is not at the hotel but at the ausschanksteuer on Maritius, When the beach party, there were luckily a happy hour and it was mood and the supply upscale...

Hotel in the japanese style with beautiful garden, inviting pool, large rooms, great beach, good food, amazing service and mixed audience ( amazing many germans and japanese)

- directly at the beach, circa 50-minute drive away from the airport to the hotel, to the next place circa 5 kilometer, there shops, apart from that at the area was flic en flac not appealing

We had a luxury room (207). Sea view from the 1st floor-fantastic.

The food is simply brilliant. No matter what you ate, from the starters to the desserts, everything was totally delicious. From here once again a greetings to the kitchen! A star deduction for the high drink prices - especially with the wine. And the excuse of 'must be imported' also applies not, the wine in the supermarket with normal prices to buy.

Top notch! You will be on breakfast and dinner always great at its space accompanied and in the best way cared for. A big thank you and greetings we want to Monika judge, it is amongst others for the service the german guests responsible and stands at any time with help and advice available. Really great. Room service is great-you get daily free water to the room and the towels will 2 times changed daily. Cleanliness is ok of course also great.

Everything was great. Private Bootshaus, here you can plenty of companies-and the free of charge. The beach is as one wishes, white and clean. Free internet in the room it is not a matter, so you can easily the contact to their home alive.

Large, well-kept complex. All open built and very clean.

We had a rental car, so were purchases and everything else not a problem. We would do it again, you can on the island look at what you want and the time which one needs. With tours of for example TUI in a small bus from a mach b rushed, we don't want. It is also with a rental car a much cheaper

Our room was in the basement, therefore we could over the terrace direct at the beach go. We even had German tv front desk ( ZDF).

From the food we were a bit disappointed. With the menu we had duck with very many lessons. The portion I found a bit small. Basically could the dishes warmer. Some of the pizza again warm. The geflügelspieße were already before-roasted and were only briefly on the grill warmed. The melted ice couldn't be. ( looked like milchsuppe ) some later but against fresh ice replaced. The cocktails were overpriced ( after o'clock over 12,00 Euro) and not even a decorated. Also this can be otherwise, when we the sega grand prix at the beach experienced. This evening for remain unforgettable for us. At the beach we ate. The tables and chairs were impressively renovated.

The staff are very friendly. We are with English very good with good reason old. With the staff you'll hear already times a few phrases in German. To thank you we would like us on Monika. It has us interesting tips, in a travel guide are listed.

We had it only 30 meters to the beach. We have never stayed in such a comfortable sun loungers located. There was enough space at the beach, so you don't feel cramped feel. Our room would be cleaned daily. As the air conditioning was broken, this was within 30 minutes to fix it.

We have many excursions with the bus lines made. The took a bit longer than with a taxi, is however very recommendable. Where one has still another conductor in the bus? These are very helpful, told us where we had to get out.

Clean good designed room the over all desirable had. Daily fresh mineral water, coffee and tea you could prepare yourself and the included. We must say for the age of the hotel everything is in good condition us one sees it is always somewhat and renewed. The room was located really on a great location we could on the balcony the sea and the sonnenuntergäne thoroughly enjoy.

We have all restaurants enjoyed. The food was everywere very good and each has its own atmosphere. If you don't try it has missed anything. You can all benefit in the price of the half board and only a few dishes have a minimum extra charge. I am sure the drink prices high but we are times honest, with us you pay for a good bottle of wine its price. The prices for not alcoholic beverages are normal. You have to note, that the country mostly everything must import. You can decide what you consume would like.

Yes as the tourist industry in our opinion a large emulate... The staff were always friendly and accommodating, they gave a in all areas very large trouble. Service and cleaning of the rooms were excellent. English and french are so or so not a problem with being understood. They even trouble a bit to speak German. The communication not a problem you always got what you wanted, apart from that would have Monika the place for all German speaking who do not continue to come. Monika is certainly a delight for the hotel with their can one well maintained and it gives good advice in the familiar language. Enclosed a sincere thank you at the complete staff, especially we would jam, ornella, mathieu and of course Monika the us really accommodating served and our vacation unforgotten make stress chapeau... There were always sufficient loungers at beach and pool available. The spacious seating area we were surprised, this is not in all hotels at the beach of flic en flac sunday This can be at the beautiful strandspatziergängen. We are of the opinion that it is the best hotel at the beach of flic en flac. Unfortunately we could not all sporting activities use otherwise would be our relaxing too. Snorkel, kayak, glass boat which we used everything was good. For snorkeling there was the good places were brought. The beach was always clean and the water a dream. What more could you want? The wi-fi-access was free and we could at the beach and in the room use problem.

Miracle lovely hotel with lots of space, wether on the complex or in the room. We had a luxury room on the 3 floor was just great. View of the sea with the fascinating sunsets phenomenal. The rooms were always clean, everything was available, towels, bathrobe and so on we had the half board and it were sufficient perfectly. The food was very good and with a lot of variation. One has enough possibilities with the various restaurants. You could not fault. The types of people were well mixed and nobody much negative.

We think, that the west and the north at this time of the year are ideal. The location of the hotel was right for us, peacefully located, directly at the beach, the shops with approximately 20 minutes path until flic en flac you can do well, whether at the beach or on the street a lot of interesting things to see. Excursions are abundant, whether with a group or privately with taxis you can have it all, depending upon need.

Room, as above already described very generous. Great beds. Great large shower, bath tub with soft drinks. All great.

The food is as already described above very good and vielfältigzu mention is still. The one of a sommelier on the wine's could be consulted.

Always friendly, attentive staff. Instant help also at the front desk. Help with booking an rental car. The spa is in any case very recommendable. Nice women spoil with a massages and the hamam use.

From time to time nice entertainment with landestypischm sega dance. A private house band plays and sings each evening.

Wonderful spacious and very well maintained facilities. Large tastefully designed room. The box spring beds are a dream. Cleanliness nothing to complain about. Every day clean towels and linen. The food is always very varied with different themes. Is very recommendable The wine -restaurant with 4 menu proposals, included wine ( with the half-board without surcharge). To my annoyance morning sun lounger by the beach boys with beach towels reserved, with the reason: this is for the vip's. Probably they a few rupees to it-earned.

From the beach is about 1 hour. 15 to place flic en flac. By bus super simple every 15 minutes from the respectively the place from the turning area next to the Hilton hotel. There is really beautiful interesting excursions on the island( in the south: terre de couleur, black river, le prompter. rumfabriken to visit and so on) in the north Eureka( the kolonialhaus proximity mocha; pampelmousse, the massive botanical garden( you should there for a few rupees a guide to take, the one by the wonderful massive park leads)
