A few cockroaches in the bathroom came on (disgusting). The sheets were stained, the towels flusten strong. The food wasn't very tasty, the selection was very basic, often was not refilled or it took a very long time. For dessert there was always only melon and one sort of cake, with miest (taste neutral Buttercreme). The breakfast is completely unacceptable: Yogurt, looked, as if one would have been merely spat, tough, tough baguettes, the eggs were either green or gray (not edible), the coffee pathetic bad. The competence of the staff in their containers (as in the case of food) ... was missing any labelling for the content (you had to try, coffee, milk, hot water it was). The plates were wet and piled together with a napkin had to be cleaned. Concerning hygiene had no really good feeling. The waiters didn't seem very motivated, rarely saw, when the " buffet " something ran out and had to be replenished. Until we asked for-and often a long wait-then substitute. The pool and the thermal pool made up for the bad food, the pool was very well maintained and the thermal pool-if a little neglected-very pleasant. Unfortunately, the bedding in room satisfactory, the towels flusten so strong, that you want the whole body was refurbished. Cockroaches in the bathroom the ground floor room were very nasty and unpleasant, move to a room on the first floor was easily organized. Conclusion: hotel in a beautiful beach location, with a significant renovation! OK for a week, but only for people, who like a quiet, relaxing vacation. read hotel review

I can really recommend this hotel for three stars Tunisia just great. Direct beach location is simply amazing. Everywhere friendly humans for assistance. The rooms are functional, but perfectly adequate. Diverse food and drinks were offered. As I said. For the price, you can't go wrong with the choice of the hotels. For people who look for luxury, it is not. The service in the restaurant not so great (tables in the outdoor area one had to even dust, long waiting time for drinks and refilling of food, unending race for salt and pepper and cutlery) the waiters are very clumsy! The food was adequate and sometimes more, sometimes less good! But you always got full. Our excursions we with the locals on the beach and all three were really great! Don't need expensive trip by ... Neckermann and be Co. Money we had to change twice in the neighbor Hotel, as the exchange irregular opening of the hotel. The view of the ocean from the rooms with sea view was really lovely! The sunrise you would have seen once over the ocean. The entertainment. Oh well, that is to say: no guests, no animation = the! Very understandable! Bars, discos and pubs in the immediate vicinity there was no. Very nice native with a drink in a coffee shop, tea and a water pipe participated. So. Room was nice, the bathroom was clean, but is getting old. The hotel had three stars October 2010 closed and opened in then newly renovated as a four star hotel. If you want to go to Tunisia the summer you can recommend the hotel, half of the hotel was closed for renovation (work over the Sehsong set no noise) That is why it is in the steel, as well as at the pool and beach very quiet. In the evening there was mini disco for children, dead, but that wasn't a problem, you just went to the neighboring hotel which ... belongs to the same owner and there it from. read hotel review

Transfer of flighafen the hotel much too long, last hotel on the route about2 hours (no guide and information)! Check in without problems, room was OK, but don't expect too much, tv is a matter of luck (and above enken is the one in Africa and not in Europe since there hygiene has a different). The beach was amazing as well as the sea!!! Locals are very pushy also at the beach You want a tours and excursions can also talk very angry and insulting are (no children or whose presence) You should only full board, as you otherwise ..., in the afternoons get anything to eat as the so-called snack. only way to eat out. Entertainment is as good as didn't even take place if it is always the same so that after a few days you enough. TIP: IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY MAKE IT A PIRATE TOUR IRELAND STANDARD TIME PURE RIP-OFF SINCE YOU MARQUESAS ISLANDS TIME ABOUT 2000 OTHER PEOPLE ON SHIPS FOR 30 MINUTES 20 RUNS THE DAY GNZEN FLAMINGO AND ONLY OF LOCAL SHOPPERS EXPECTED: BORDTOILETTEN ARE AN IMPERTINENCE!!! DO YOU PREFER A QUAD BIKE TOUR OR OTHER EXCURSIONS!!! Check-out: was miserable as we trotzm half board for the lunch and dinner had to pay and a much too high price 34 dinars for fries salad and baguette Harry. Conclusion: OK for a beach holiday if you by Astrid Hotel food and all other sihc people should look for another place. Holiday was good but not recommended. read hotel review

General was the vacation Okay, if you know the go to Africa, one to other a. However, you can work on the cleanliness. Considering that we spend all day outside has, the rooms were OK. The beach was not crowded and nice, the food was good but the entertainment was more for children, unfortunately the same every night. For a week of relaxation & peace, the hotel is perfectly adequate. read hotel review

If you have a three star hotel in Tunisia Bay and at this price, must be clear from the outset, that you don't expect too much. But the hotel was relatively clean, the rooms were OK, the food could one eat, you just not, but who wants it, it was definitely edible and relatively varied. If you stay at this hotel, wants peace and a great beach, the deficiencies of the hotel again explored. It was not a party and luxury hotel, but affordable therefor. For those who want more, have to be prepared, to pay more. The staff was ... nice and courteous and with a friendly smile you. read hotel review

For a beach holiday, where you don't have to be put on weight, this hotel is perfectly suitable. The food is, in my view, more suited to the level of a hostel, this means you could eat it, is not sick, but without spices mostly not so good. The cleanliness is also positive emphasis, such as the beach. In all, the price-performance ratio (also for drinks at the pool). read hotel review

Short and sweet: I am a cook and can only confirm, that the Speieangebot very good, varied and very tasty. The buffet several times a day on its temperature was examined and always freshly refilled. The whole area is small but nice and very relaxing and clean. Even as a single I found peace and relaxation. Hotel Zarzis we will see each other again! read hotel review

Actually, I defended in advance against this three star hotel. Usually we book a 4 + in Tunis, or five-star hotel, as the Amir Palace, the club magic or the Odyssey resort. But on the recommendation of friends and to ask my wife we have used it, since we were away last minute. I have to say the hotel exceeded expectations and I certainly 1 star more. The hotel is very quiet and more for a pure relaxing holiday on the beach to recommend. Hali Gali who, party and great animation is here unfortunately in the wrong place. A meeting ... place of peace, wellness and relaxation. To emphasize the good food, the spa area (massages), as well as the beach and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. A hit for children the hotel's zoo with chickens, goats and Cindy and the Susi handzahmen baboon cocolino the. Who dares wins! read hotel review

We stayed in Hotel Zarzis for one week in August 2007. However the hotel seems to be quite old - built in traditional style - and it could do with some renovation everything was ok with the cleanliness all around the building. Room was spacious and clean with air conditioning and with a clean bathroom. We got clean towels everyday. Staff was friendly and smiling providing excellent service, always helpful, though the waiters in the restaurant don't really speak english, but mainly german and czech. Clean restaurant providing a very good choice of meals including daily fresh bbq at the ... poolside. We didn't use the pool but it seemed absolutely clean as well as the beach. The hotel is not too far from the city center and from shopping areas, there are some food and souvenir shops next to the hotel (Fatima's shopping owned by Mohammed is just a good place to buy souvenirs). I recommend Hotel Zarzis absolutely and without reservation especially for those who would like a calm holiday and who don't expect Hilton standard. read hotel review
