Never again Antares. In the location there were several four star hotels with better facilities and better service. Room in the style of the 70. Years. Worn furniture, bed sheet with stains, room and bathroom full of dust. read more

The hotel lies in direktet vicinity of the cable car Matterhorn Express. The staff are always very helpful and competent. The room was already during the breakfast cleaned. Had single room but in a double room upgeradet. Great view of the Matterhorn. read more

Very friendly, family-run hotel in the immediate area the valley station Towards the Klein Matterhorn mountain; amazing service, afternoon coffee and cake included; sauna and jacuzzi, quiet room. Very attentive service. Was a great stay. read more

the hotel fulfills all expectations in terms of quality and standard. However, the furnishing with a lot of dark wood like this is pure Gemackssache... The service is attentive, the breakfast was good and wide. The wellness area is small but tastefully decorated with all, what do you expect. Great is the location right on the elevator. read more

    We didn't have a chance to try the fitness and other facilities. Internet access was provided via a couple of workstations downstairs. We had problems with the internet access from our room.

    I was in a single room for the first 3 nights. This was small but well appointed with a very powerful shower and plenty of linens. The bed was very comfortable. I moved to a twin-bedded room for the last 4 nights, which was much larger and had a big balcony, lots of windows and a huge bathroom with tub.

    I was on the half board plan, and dinner in particular was fantastic. The menu was imaginative and gorgeously presented.

    Everyone on the staff, including the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner frequently comes to talk to all the guests in the dining room at dinner. There is a free computer and internet service near the front desk, which came in very handy for me, and they were full of information about what to do in the area. In addition, because I was hiking alone, they insisted I leave my itinerary with them, every day, so that they could check to see whether I returned safely.

    The location is away from the center of town - a 15-minute walk - but there is frequent bus service between the nearby cable car lift (Kleine Matterhoren) and the Bahnhof, if you prefer not to walk. The view of the Matterhorn from the hotel was fantastic, since the hotel is quite close to it.
