Lobby: The flagship of a hotel is its lobby. So we didn't find it too appealing to find a thick dust layer in the display case. Photos on the Internet and in the flyer: Congratulations: Making so much from so little is an art. read more

My room faced the tiny inner courtyard and as did, unfortunately, the window. As guests walk along it, I could not leave the window open - and that at 30 degrees. An open window would not have been very helpful, though, because no breeze blew into the narrow courtyard. The tiny room did not have a fan and no air conditioning, which was not promised, but that made it unbearably hot. Advantage: you did not have to use the filthy blanket. Around the pillows I wrapped one of the towels which were the only clean item in the room. The table was quite dusty - it probably has not experienced a cleaning in ages. My mother's bedside table missed a board, the fixing nails were still there and stuck out - risk of injury! The bathroom was run down. Descaling does not seem to be common when cleaning the rooms - otherwise I can not explain the ancient stains on the faucets. The prevailing dirt there I do not think I need to mention any more. Although there was no German television, it was never boring: in the badly soundproofed rooms you could listen to the conversations from adjacent rooms. My companion had it even worse: the window in her room went who knows where. It was tiny and mounted above the bed in a way that you could not look outside. But until two in the morning you heard the people in the street cafes, which are left, right and across the street. Also in this room the dirt was present everywhere. The dirtiest were the to three quarters hanging curtains. It had a sad gray for a color - of the original white there was nothing more to be seen.

Simple as promised. Especially disgusting: the jams in the 500 gr glass on the tables. The glasses remain on the tables, until the umpteenth guest has emptied it, which in this context means, that several butter knives found their way into the jam, because there was no spoon. One remark in our own interest: Kraft singles works for baking, not as a topping for bread! Especially not when it is, apart from the jam, the only other topping. The orange juice was placed on the table long before the guest, with the result that it was warm. My request for cold orange juice I could only push through with trouble, as all three waiters standing around suddenly could not speak English any more.

Without any motivation - staff at the reception made a filthy impression.

As promised 100 meters from the Grand Place. Only because of this one sun Because of the loud restaurants next door and across the street, the rooms are very loud.

The arrival was a shock to my eyes: did we land in Brussels or in a Hindu temple? I thought that you can still overlook this. Then came the next problem: the search for the room. Our room was so hidden that we first couldn't find the damn room number, because the place is as twisty like a maze. Next, we have observed how the maids clean the rooms. (disgusting!) Because of my bad French, it was not possible for her to tell me where exactly the room is. At the end I determined that we had to climb four ... floors. The corridors are partly so narrow that you could barely fit through with a suitcase. If you're afraid of elevators like me you have to squeeze through there. Next we came to the room only to find that it was full of flies (!) and other crawling critters and that it was only stuffy smelly and unhygienically cleaned. At least we got a new room that we liked better right away, although it was extremely unfavorably furnished. read more

See above. Much too full, tacky and dirty. No capacity. As everywhere in the corridors surveillance cameras were installed I had a queasy feeling right away. The heat was UNBEARABLE. Bad air. The neighbors could watch us all the time, really unpleasant.

  • Gastronomy

The food - if you can call it a hotel breakfast - consisted of a croissant, a piece broken off baguette, sliced cheese (That was really tasty), jam, coffee and a glass of orange juice. You could have these things refilled. Disgusting: the things were directly after the guests before newly put on the table - theoretically our food was there already for hours.

  • Service

To me the staff were actually relatively friendly, the communication in English was only with the front desk employees possible, though. The cleaning is UNSATISFACTORY to disgusting-On the bed sheets were pretty obvious spots so we knew what went on in our beds. Of course we had the sheets changed several times (we could also have made it ourselves-.-) , but the others were even more disgusting and dirty. There were no additional services, not even a room service or something to drink. Once, when I needed a plaster, I was told that they do not have any and I go and get myself one. However the handling of complaints was very positive, we have for example not received an apology however instead directly a new room. It was nevertheless no better room, but well.

The location is really good, you can actually get everywhere pretty fast. And the road is full of restaurants.

Our small room was facing the street. Therefore, the whole room smelled of old frying fat, which was probably because of the kebab shop located beneath. Upon returning we has to wash all our clothes and bags. Opposite there was a discotheque, which closes at 3 or 4 AM. Afterwards sleep is possible in this room. The delivery traffic starts at about 7 clock. Then sleep is over. Advance payment. No bell service on the narrow winding hallways. Breakfast is, except for the coffee, an impertinence. The atmosphere was very quaint. The walls and ceilings are full with lovingly designed ... plaster stuccum. Because of the central location, we had to park in the parking garage. It costs about €15 per day. read more

The maids need urgent improvement in things' as clean I had a room '. The kitchen should be a few tips given what will a continental breakfast means. Definitely not every Moregen a plate with a scheiblettenkäse latvian cheese, 1 Croisannt and a broken piece of baguette. Okay, the coffee tasted. Rooms are very, very small. I could watch the current image and missing batteries in the remote control not broken. I, not go there again! read more

We were with a group (p. 37) and the hotel had to be paid in advance. No Wonder! At least 2/3 of us would have checked out! The hotel is decorated in moorish-arabian style and pompous equipped. It feels like a hamam with many Séparées, incredible concorted and cramped. Our room was weak-dark, smelled like cigarette smoke and cheap soap, had a two centimeter thick red plush carpet felt, a narrow corridor, from which the luckily clean mini bathroom talk and a narrow staircase, the responsibility for our beds below the ceiling imposed. On this loft could 1.50 meters ... large person than a stand. Most of us stayed night better dressed on the blanket. Because the Hotel in the middle of the centre is located, it was accordingly loud! The breakfast consisted of hot drinks, orange juice, Croissant, baguette 1/4, jam and 1 disk sealed Scheibletten-Cheese. All in all an experience of the other kind. read more
