Hotel Drei Löwen^{(4 stars)}

Practical location about 3 minutes from the main railway station. Short walk to stachus, marienplatz etc.. Lobby and rooms newly renovated, therefore, the difference to the 'old', still not renovated bathroom very big. Single room spacious, nice bathroom large with plenty of counter space. Everything very clean, staff friendly. Breakfast buffet with a large, fresh selection. If you're looking for 'proper' coffee sets, absolutely from the machine order, or help yourself. Some smaller ' flaws' not fit to a 4 star hotel. Would this hotel more than good three stars hotel rate. But recommendable overall for city breaks. read more

To and for itself an excellent hotel- 4 stars but no safety deposit box in the room. Breakfast buffet great. However, if you in the evening in the bar a cocktail (spriz-lonkgdrunk) ordered, got one to the answer-it is not possible, since the persons present no mixed drinks-and that in a 4 star hotel. read more

The hotel lies great in the center munich, a stone's throw away from the train station away. In the street you find especially doner kebab shops, import/export from various countries and sex shops, but couple streets further you're at the stachus. From the price ago we found the hotel unfortunately absolutely overpriced. The room which ok one, the bathroom had its best years already behind itself, but still dark long hair from the vorgängergast. Unfortunately when we took our 2 days stay also no room service available. Even after a instruction at the front desk nothing happened. read more

The hotel it was being renovated at the moment (April 2012). The whole entrance area was being renovated, this is a large construction site. The front desk is band-aid on the first floor accommodated, the breakfast is taken in a improvised area and is not very extensive. During the day there is construction noise and it is very cool in the hotel. I would the hotel in the moment and avoid wait until it's finished was renovated. Older but clean hotel, U/ suburban train entrance main station 50 meters away, Stachus square (karlsplatz) about 350 to 400 meters away. Room somewhat older, but everything available, also new flat-screen. Bed is also good. Breakfast buffet ample with large roll choice, also lye pastry. Nice, friendly staff. Everything really reasonable for a city trip. It is always much about the bad neighborhood written, well opposite is an adult store and the clientele around a German Großstadtbahnhof is just not the same as the Starnberger see lake. The size of the room was great, beds were great. You didn't hear street noise (despite a busy street). Cleanliness was also great, both in the room and at the breakfast buffet. But the service was itself, or the friendliness of the staff not so good. At the front desk we were rather rude taken care of. The on-line check-in didn't work (in the public Internet corner, due to some problems with the Internet) you could not check in at the other company's computer. We were told to go to an Internet cafe. My Internet service free of charge, I ... will not go into the internet cafe, and therefor beds! As well as the consultation was-I have to say poorly. Nobody knew each other whether a certain room was cleaned or not. Unfortunately the door of the room not 'safe'. There was two doors, one of them but you could not lock. The other 'safety' you don't know whether this was definitely now completed. In the shower a door side discussed, the corresponding Rutschegfahr was after a shower available. The tv was on a simple stand hardly a meter above the floor appropriate. It is a bit before, as the fourth star would have been acquired only with trouble. 5 days drive to Munich room was on the top floor with 35 degrees without air conditioning!(Promised fan did not give it!) tv flicker and cleaning of the room very poor! Breakfast five days always the same! Hotel with more than!3 star standard were pleased that we were able to back out! read more

We stayed for a weekend in Munich and had booked over the Internet the four three lions. It is very close to the train station Schillerstraße with a high proportion of foreigners. The room and bathroom were very worn with lots of wear and stains on the carpet. In the bathroom you had to hold the hose on the hairdryer, or else he dropped. There was only one key per double room, no chipcard for each guest. The doors were stuck and the bathroom door couldn't be locked. Well, in our opinion the hotel was more than the three star ... category, as well as the offer at the breakfast buffet. read more
