We stayed over easter for a city break in this hotel. From the airport we are with the fötaxi (taxi rank in front of the airport) for 21€ to the hotel went. Back it should when the hinfahrquittung 15 €costs. Unfortunately the prices on 01-04-2013 on 17 €adjusted. It was a lovely stay. Good breakfast with attentive waiters (very hard). The rooms were completely okay and clean, however we had no views of the danube. Unfortunately no free wlan in the hotel. The location is in my opinion perfect for a city trip. We have all sights on foot explored ... on foot. To the heroes' square, it is a bit far, but here one could also times in metro rise. Market hall, castle, gellertberg everything effortlessly easy to reach on foot. Basically is this hotel due to its great location very recommendable. But opinion, 5 stars a bit overrated. Good 4 stars i would give. read more

    See general - we also have an evening in the hotel eaten. There were no negatives. Very recommendable, since you are right on the illuminated chain bridge and buda castle can see.

    See general Friendly, english little german. Cleaning lady not 100% (complain about of a high standard, as long as basically clean, i am here not really so, but because the hotel now times 5 stars, i was a little verwunder. Tables were not wiped, counter in the bathroom not cleaned properly)

The hotel is located strategic very cheap. Tram stop on the doorstep. All directions easy to reach. The rooms with river view have a stunning view. Rooms are clean and big. Only the bathroom is a bit small fancy. The staff at the reception was very helpful with information for excursions. Really disturbed me only the i to free use of the sauna are forced this swimsuit to use and for backing a very small document should be distributed. It is supremely unhygienic, however probably unfortunately in Hungary usual. But i think the international hotel needs to be more flexible. ... That's why i use declined. read more

Alltogether it was a very nice stay in Budapest. The location of the hotel right at the Donau is optimal. Many of the sights are well within walking distance. It offers at, a room with view of Donau to book. In the evening it is a wonderful sight, if the chain bridge and the budaseite in brighter light to see. Language skills of the staff were so far available, that communication in german almost always possible. If not, then it goes with english. The staff are almost exclusively very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is extensively equipped and offers everything at ..., what is expected. read more

Unfortunately was for the stars number of the wifi too expensive! The current standard is free wi-fi and 12 €for 1 hour. Apart from that the hotel can be recommend it, one may only no wellness or internet friend are. read more

The hotel intercontinental Budapest is a top-notch hotel! I felt there very well. The staff are very hard-working to do everything possible, to a the stay as pleasant as possible to arrange. This hotel i can really absolutely recommend. The location, directly at the chain bridge, is also ideal for a city break. read more

The location is perfect, right at the Donau, shopping street just round the corner, clean and big room. The hotel see also from the outside modern. Looks on the photos it often as an old concrete block, but what it is not. read more

    Absolutely make a small surcharge for a superior room with view of Donau book! A huge picture windows and a fantastic view! Really big rooms with a wonderful king size bed. Very quiet room, one hears neither the hallway nor outside noise.

    Very friendly front desk, gave us after small additional charge for an upgrade to a wonderful superior room on the 6. floor with a view of the castle and Donau transferred. The housekeeping has fulfilled all expectations, even if there were small problems with the language was. The rooms were very clean.

We were 4 for 4 nights over the new year Budapest. Breathtaking location with a view of chain bridge, Donau and castle hill from the river view rooms or suites. We have 4 one river view suite occupied. Only drawback was the much too small bathroom. Excellent was also the handling of a complaint, a tap was replaced immediately and inconvenience with two bottles of sparkling wine settled. Even if the building from the outside as a dark block works, so value and views excellent. Will gladly come back. The club lounge has great views and nice snacks in the ... evening. read more

On the whole was the short vacation with my husband (3 days) very nice in Budapest the intercontinental hotel. We had not far away the subway, the christmas market and the shopping street. So the location is really great there. From the hotel room we saw on the Donau looked. Have specially somewhat suburb mood paid, so that we better room received. And we regret it was not. Such a nice panorama you don't see often. Unfortunately you will find in the area only a few normal simple restaurants. This us unfortunately somewhat disturbed. However, you could in the christkindlmarket ... very good food. read more

Great location, especially for tourists as the most important landmarks are within walking distance. My room was on the 5th floor and had a view of the Castle. It was clean, organized, roomy and featured the typical 5 stars amenities. Breakfast was very expensive, some 60€, but at least was very well served. read more

The interconti in Budapest captivates with its gorgeous area, right at the Donau. The minimum extra charge for a room with danube view room you should in any case pay, as from evenings in the room with a glass of wine and this breathtaking view a unforgettable present can. The location is brilliant. Everything easily reachable on foot, tram station on the doorstep. Staff in any case friendly and helpful, for my birthday was us in the afternoon a cakes presented. Nice attention! Would book this again anytime! read more

The interconti Budapest is a concrete block, as most of the hotels appearance. Beautiful or not nice, one can disagree. We had for our 3 nights direct on the homepage booked, including breakfast.     Just intercontizimmer as we had expected. No signs of wear or damage to the furniture visible. Great beds. Everything very clean and plush. Sufficient size for several nights. Very good view from the room to stephanskirche. Unfortunately the bathroom too small. Only one person can be in there. It was missing a separate shower. In the bathtub is a shower head installed.

    The breakfast buffet is average, nothing special, for a hotel this category still expandable. Two frühstücksköche is possible the guest. All dishes were fresh, large rolls and bread basket. The buffet is manageable, not bad however also not overwhelming. Other interconti's (Abu Dhabi, Bali, Frankfurt) are for offer better The coffee is at the table enough, the staff is very attentive. The tables were quickly freshly set. Great view for breakfast on the chain bridge.

    The interconti Budapest is a concrete block, as most of the hotels appearance. Beautiful or not nice, one can disagree. We had for our 3 nights direct on the homepage booked, including breakfast.     The interconti located right next to the Donau. However on my last visit over 30 years in this building a forum hotel. At that time was the intercontihotel some meters away in today's Marriott-building. In the immediate area this intercontinental is located in the Sofitel, the Marriott and the four seasons hotel. All sights, restaurants and the pedestrian zone is within a few minutes walking distance. The location at the Donau is unique, from a city hotel i would advise against.

Luxury hotel directly on the Donau-procession in a great location to the pedestrian precinct and the surrounding restaurants. Tip : definitely a room with Donau-look, the castle opposite is the whole evening very nice lit. read more
