We had a perfect stay in Köln. I recommend the hotel definitely to be further. Despite building site directly in front of the hotel no light sleepers. Breakfast super and sufficient. Elevator was unfortunately at our time of stay broken, we always had to on foot in the 3. floor. But our booked double room a suite had been moved without an extra charge. Therefore we have the very gladly accept! The suite was huge! 2 bathrooms, 2 tv, lounge area, sleeping area separated, small walk-in closet, huge hallway. Nothing to complain about! read more

Small city hotel, centrally located, short walk to the shopping area and to the center with numerous restaurants. Rooms are small, but with optmaler platzausnutzung. Parking in adjoining public car park for 10 Euro on the day. Flat-screen tv with SKY Cinema, sky sport, sky blue movie. Wireless internet in the whole hotel free of charge. Classification three stars and is justified. read more

After easter 2008 we were this year for the 2. time am augustinerplatz on occasion a short Köln trips (1 night). Room, front desk, cleanliness were as last time ok, but the breakfast impossible. This time the hotel was fully occupied and was for breakfast totally overwhelmed, although friendly and tried hard. The latter i want to raise hits. On bread waiting took forever, even if you coffee wanted. Also during our entire breakfast no cheese at the buffet. Weak, disappointing. Do not know, whether it is a 3 time will be read more

The building itself dates from the post-war period (1957), which the attentive observers quickly recognizes.
For several years, this City Hotel a complete facelift undergone. What is still counts is a unbeatable value for money and the really central location in immediate location to high street and the heumarkt square. The hotel is in a very good condition and especially because his perfect location! You are immediately on the main shopping street of Cologne and sights, Museums and good restaurants well and easily reached on foot.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. As our room on arrival still not ready was, we were without hesitating a city map and with demand after bars happy to help.
Unfortunately the room was ( business) not too big, however enough. Very nice was the massive shower! Also a safe is free available. The breakfast can optionally for 12 €per person additionally booked ... are. There is a good selection of different meals, all fresh. Also here we were immediately coffee and tea from a very friendly service offered.
We were very satisfied with this hotel, the mostly used by businessmen will, however because of its location also the perfect Base for a short break to Köln is. These are cleanliness and friendliness great! read more

Perfect hotel in Cologne city center. The staff are continuous very friendly and helpful, has always a few nice words for their guests. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean, the hotel is altogether in very good condition. The breakfast buffet is versatile and of a very good quality. The location is directly in the city centre ( pedestrian precinct), everything is perfect. This three star hotel is by far better than some four star hotel! We are fully satisfied and will definitely go back there again (as mentioned in the recent years again and again)! read more

Centrally located town hotel - only approximately 10 minutes on foot from the Dom, therefore ideal for sightseeing- and shopping trips. Guest parking is for 10 Euro per day in the ( REWE-) parking garage next door, unfortunately it is from the outside nowhere pointed out. The clean and modernly decorated room ( with air-conditioning) is quite small, the place was in the way of decor optimal use, without to inhibit, at least until you have small luggage travels.
A large problem was the clairaudience: our room was directly on the lift and the stairs. Left and right we were ... doors the hallways, where the other rooms lay. As these with Türschließern were provided, the must inevitably lead to a banging of doors lead, was sleeping almost impossible. Apart from this, is our room so badly soundproofed, that one our bed from even every word of whispering passing revellers understand could. The doors ( at least this centrally located room) may definitely a better Isolation stand!
The friendliness from the reception staff stood and fell with the staff. The gentleman in our check in was exceptionally friendly and uncomplicated, what you from the lady whilst checking out unfortunately not at all could claim.
The breakfast we didn't use and can therefore not judge.
Because of the sleep this hotel we will for sure not visit again. read more

Good hotel where a city break, since very centrally located. Bathroom was the smallest, which I had ever entered, but contained everything you need. Breakfast was us too expensive, therefore, we are the baker the also Sundays was open. read more

This hotel is very good for a city break in Cologne.
It is located directly at the end the shopping street. From the DOM/ main station in a few minutes easy to reach on foot. Links to the transport, cafes, restaurants everything is close by.
We had a junior suite and this was in terms of size very good. Furthermore with flatscreen tv equipped and modern furniture. The hotel bar the atmosphere was very good to have a small drink to itself to take.

The hotel lies close to the Heumarkt and thus already in the pedestrian precinct, in a small side-street.
Around Cologne explore so perfect!
The single room was really vergleisweise small and the bed very narrow. But for two nights was enough for us.
The hotel itself is modern furnished and has its own style, the decoration subject.
The breakfast buffet was more than enough and diverse: from cold cuts over fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli, up to scrambled egg was everything available. Also the coffee and juice were good. The staff were very friendly in the breakfast area!
Altogether therefore ..., a good stay, except for the narrow bed. read more

Everything was great! No reason for complaint! The next trip to Cologne in any case also come back to this hotel! The location of the hotel was very, very comfortable, as you get out of the door in the city center is! The ambient E is the price more than according to! From this hotel can many other yet more than just a Scheibr cut!

Construction in immediate I have provided for restless sleep, the direct area was rather disgusting, but we weren't there. No free parking possibilities near the hotel, parking garage was expensive and very dirty. The cathedral compensate for many, but not all. read more

The hotel was three star. The breakfast was rather moderate, it wasn't't refilled. The room was so small as a single room. In the bathroom could only one person. From 7:30 o'clock was due to noise the underground construction impossible to sleep. read more

we had two single rooms, which were rather small, but had everything you need, even a small refrigerator. The bathroom was new and big shower! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Owner managed hotel with well feeling character. The rooms are recently renovated and are equipped with falchbildschirm tv, minibar and safe.
