The hotel complex is relatively large and clean! The rooms are big enough and are always super clean! To the beach and pool is everything in 5 minutes attainable, pool ' s there are several and a heated with 26 degrees, beach is nice and there is a bar where you for snorkelling right on the-aged steep reef. So that were already all the good pages! The reef best years are gone,because there is a lot of eastern europeans there, they think the one on the corals, or cancel to you your family at the beach ... show! I have no sympathy for it! Then it goes with the not so good stuff and it was the service at least the first three days where you saw the we no russians are, then it was barely with maybe a coffee for breakfast and what to drink for dinner. I've never experienced something like that! Now the worst things, the food in the buffet restaurant is appalling (sau) completely adapted to the russians, every day the same, whether for breakfast or dinner, the first three days rice with sauce eaten until we a reservation for a menu restaurant, and there was food! To noon the beach bar was the food good, because there were fries and pizza which tasted like pizza presupposed one has got, because some russians't know what in line and normal portions mean what you also of the stressed staff noticed or until you have noticed that it was two or three german in the hotel there is. In the beach restaurant you sit with beautiful view of the sea and the food was not. Lazy so if it fish and vegetables then it was good! Still very bad i found the general behavior of the 99% russians and their eating culture (much and almost nothing food)! For german i can't recommend this hotel! Are in october where again in Albatros Palace drive, that was really great because it was at least tidy served (please sir, and so on. ) read more

It was our 2. stay in Egypt. We prefer quiet hotels like the Serenity Makadi Beach. Unfortunately, ar the entire area already getting old. Particularly the pools.
The beach in the Soma Bay was for us especially nice! Which was great. Was the really excellent service and the staff's hospitality. Really great. Unfortunately one often addressed in russian. Well and the employees appreciate it when you hear from Germany is.
Also one of the a lot of pools was locked. (repair) well, if the all pools now reparierieren you can't really more work. The broken tiles in the pool didn't ... really bother us. You had to be careful on the edges. Otherwise very nice hotel with relax pool ( no russians or animation) and super was also relaxstrand! Price/performance ratio was super! And there can one anything übner the hotel tell! read more

A wonderful garden area. Great friendly and dear staff. A great large shower, without bath tub, with glass wall to the floor and a lot of hot water. Room ok, but not brilliant. You can but also a room ground floor gotten, then sliding door and the lawn before a, top!
The main restaurant was very bad, we are talking about the premises, not definitely the food.
The lobby, as well as the lobby bar also really bad.
But:
There is a arround (meals where you want) to neighbor hotel fun city and since it the language before exclusivity and ... fine dining, also a la carte!
Everything in 4 restaurants without charge, only with reservation.
Unfortunately it becomes niergend where mentioned.
For 5 €extra charge however, you can also in our hotel in the so-called royal lounge,
A ' la carte, very nice and upscale food, as well as drink!
In short:
For so a favourable price, this hotel at this time of the year (january ) again and again!
Relax, the green relish with wine with 24 c.
As one in the forest gets, so it echoes also back!

The serenity Makadi heights is, despite its size, a very attractive, partially family-run hotel.
Also on our 3. visit we could no changes to negative side note, but can claim the staff nor friendly, helpful and competent has become.
The internationality has increased (spanish, dutch, english, german and russians), the latter contrary to other experiences here fully integrated.
Unfortunately frightens many germans reporting in the media, what i only is regrettable.
I hope that my review a small proportion to change brings. read more

Work is currently being carried out on renovations but it is done in a considerate way to minimise disruption. A new beach eating area was constructed in a week and very little noise was heard, the area was screened off by sheets. Painting is ongoing but in no way affects your holiday. It is a quiet time at the hotel so this was to be expected. One pool was under rennovation for the summer but no rooms were occupied in that area and there were still several others to choose from read more

As far as we can tell, is the name Serenity Makadi Heights a relic of a past time. Meanwhile, the new built 'fun city 'opened, the' heights' probably because of better distinction between 'beach' renamed. Both hotels the same chain are head at head each other, the beach is like the name already says at the beach, the fun city inland. So if you to the fun city, must longer strandwege be prepared. But there is a slide park and 3-4 rides, the however during our stay not available were (and if they would be for 'beach' -visitors subject to ... a charge %blank%). The slides were not all in use, certainly no fun, as the related pools all were cold. In the 'beach' was at least a pool heated, unfortunately this was not suitable for small children. This was officially only the beach-inhabitants available, kulanzhalber were but also fun city -guests tolerated.
We are very pleased, from these grunden not the more expensive fun city booked.
A couple more catchwords afterwards:
- the staff are crazy friendly and read a certain desire from the eyes, some was already nearly embarrassing
- our room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable, room service perfect
- the (buffet)-food was very diverse, meat but mostly tough, chicken on the bone, but are the restaurants but ok.

The excursion-and leisure offers one should consider it well-often is simply only ingenious moneymaking behind, some offers do not price and performance - it is just by the large mass of constantly new tourist there benefits. A beautiful designed garden area. Great reef for snorkelling in front of the beach, however to get there life totgetreten (there is no barrier, therefore no protection for the reef). We had a really beautiful room, according to description it should view of the sea have, then only as lateral view of the sea turned out, the on the balcony sitting unfortunately not to see. To our regret, there were about 95% russian tourist. The staff at the hotel speak very good russian, against unfortunately only very broken german. The food was varied, however as already described, always the same ... cooked, so that you no feeling the variety got. At the breakfast buffet we have very strong muesli, oatmeal, as well as nuts missed. The we knew from other hotels completely different. The bread and rolls are dark tinted, who here have searches, finds unfortunately nothing at all. choco for breakfast was not offered. Two of the three treadmills were constantly broken. In the lobby there is a bar, however it has a charm like a train station hall. Here one could with little money and many high plants a really great environment create. Bar stools were in no bar available. This does not seem to be. In the pool- and beach area were the beverages unfortunately only in 100 millilitres kunststsoffbecher poured out. Also the coffee! I do not believe that these cups for hot drinks were. Ice there were exactly 1 hour long. (this endless queues ) however per person only about a kind of half icecoupe. Well not really, more not! This hotel has the potential with little means great to be, believe however not the management interested. We will not stay at this hotel again! read more

We were the 1. time in Egypt and a little skeptical. But we were positively surprised.
A modern, clean hotel with a large well-kept grounds. There is several restaurants and poolside bars, where it at any time eating and drinking there is.
Despite the fact that we in the december were there, there was daily animation, abdl. Shows, disco.
Meals all inclusive was very good, they included all drinks (alcohol, wine. Liquor, cocktails and so on)
Rooms were cleaned each day. There were slippers and bathrobes provided, as well as beach cloths for the free beach chairs.
For the beach ... and also in the water definitely wear shoes, very rocky.
Opposite the hotel there is a further area belonging. There is a small water park and the LUNA-Park with some rides such as z. example ferris wheel, roller coaster. Everything was free.
We did not regret it, the vacation to have spent here. We will definitely go back read more

We were on the whole very satisfied. The staff were always friendly and a joke, also without tips. The beach did not like, however therefor the coral reef made up for it. The food is okay. We were just a week and you are always full. The cleanliness the hotel and the pools is remarkable. We wanted to switch simply only peace and sun and we have enough get. read more

Looking for sun, sea and low humidity was this the place to be and enjoy being served as a VIP. Complains were handled good. Our remarks on dressing code were answered that this cannot be handled in the mean dining roon but will be used for all special restaurants. read more

The whole hotel area is very nice and spacious. The hygiene is satisfactory.
Great, that one the breakfast in 2 restaurants take can. The dinner could have been a bit hotter should be stockpiled, because if you on the plate and his place is, it is already so good as cold on the plate.

Hotelrooms are big and very clean. Especially the bathrooms were very clean and the room service guy was excellent - friendly and helpful. Hotel management is taking the guest's feedback very seriously - when claiming the cold in inner restaurants by the hotel manager (who is BTW each day reachable in the garden making his daily control walk) - next day was the aircondition setup for higher temperature.
All inclusive buffets are on the standard level. Ala carte restaurants are little bit better. Guests: 90% of Russian tourists. read more

I must stress, the service and the hospitality was very good. When complaining, they always immediately for solace. The choice of food is just matter of taste.
