Optimal hotel for a London trip! In all areas very friendly (sometimes. German speaking) and attentive staff. Good breakfast in a very comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are functional, well equipped and very peaceful. Wi-fi (without extra cost and good reception ) in the whole hotel. The subway you can reach in 3 minutes on foot. Tip: tickets for example for musical, right at the hotel (without fee) book. All in all a recommendable hotel! read more

In the summer my boyfriend and i on a personal recommendation rooms for a London-weekend in december booked. We have a good price. The location is good, the subway is only few minutes on foot from the hotel entrance. The hotel is clean, well-kept and nicely furnished, the staff was nice and helpful. Our room was rather small, but spotlessly clean. The beds were also good, we had a good night's sleep. Especially great is the lobby with fireplace and bar, as well as the breakfast buffet. There really left nothing to the imagination. We also 1 times in the ... hotel's own restaurant eaten, the was very good. read more

The hotel is manageable large, 5 floors with about 15 rooms per floor. The guests are rather older, from all over the world - quite a lot of german speaking guests. The value for money is perfect. read more

A top -hotel in the best location - 2 minutes from the subway Earls court (directly from Heathrow from reachable). Hotel lies in a quiet side street. A great place for a London weekends. Value for money is okay not quite. Euro 260,- for one night in the double room was quite steep! read more

Everything is good in this elegant hotel the Austrian K and K chain - the modern, simple room, the lush breakfast and the friendly service. For the small sauna and the fitness room we had no time. Especially good we liked the wonderful location of the hotel in Kensington. Surrounded of gorgeous white houses in the victorian style, the George in a quiet, small lateral road and yet only about 3 minutes from the next Tube station Earl's court. You are off the beaten track of hecticness and bustle, is however really quick on foot on the Earl's court road ... with its lots of small restaurants and pubs. The neighborhood is nice, multicultural and nearly idyllic. On foot we are after Notting hill to Portobello Road and the Kensington Palace. We were very glad, no central located hotel booked. A dream was the very well maintained large garden with various sitting areas and the possibility, in green surroundings for breakfast.
For us, the K and K George the perfect hotel in London, since the value for money convinced.
But beware, you can take a small standard room, but a slightly larger executive room, it is worthwhile!
We were already early at 10 o'clock in the hotel arrived and could immediately in our room, normally the check-in only at 15 o'clock possible. In the room there were fruit basket and mineral water ready. I missed a kosmetikspiegel in the bath, otherwise was everything necessary (even bathrobes and slippers ) available.
Restaurants near the hotel (5 minutes from the hotel away), the I can recommend are wagamama (Japanese), Benito (Italian) and masala (Indian), all lower price range. Of course you in the pub around the corner also fish and chips get. Fine kitchen there are in the restaurant the Tate Modern - highly recommendable with a great view! And it was nice in Jamie Olivers, shop in Notting hill. read more

Very central located hotel. The staff at the reception desk and the service are very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet is large and varied (ham and eggs, toast, fruit, muesli, ham, cheese, Cranberrysaft etc.),
Our room was for a city adapted rather medium sized, but sufficient designed - double bed, flatscreen tv, extra ' study' for laptop, safe; the bathroom with a toilet, big shower and hair dryer. read more

This was our third stay at the hotel George. Because of the really central location and the equipment we will the next time in the hotel again George book. For London-standards the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bathroom although it is very small - however new, with a spacious shower, Underfloor heating and in particular very clean! The breakfast rooms are clean and beautiful, - the garden in the middle of London is a dream and good weather for breakfast perfect. Breakfast is more than enough. With the Piccadilly line from the airport Heathrow in about 35 minutes ... at earls court, -then 2 minutes footpath to the hotel. All together a recommendable hotel with a very good value for money. read more

Because of the good experiences the last stay the K and K George a repetition of the transaction earned. Even this time we were not disappointed. The hotel lies very pleasant in a nice atmosphere in a side street, their parallel main street everything offers, of restoration ( restaurants, pubs, supermarkets) needs. Also the traffic connections perfect! What manager of the hotel Colm K. here has developed, looks in this price range equals, especially impressed the continuous friendliness the staff. Happily time and time again I will to this hotel return, friends I would have no hesitation in recommending!

The location with a beautiful garden is excellent. 1 minutes to the subway, options for shopping around the corner. Central and yet quiet. This hotel I would not hesitate to recommend. Pleasant staff, very clean and a great location. Only 5 minutes from the subway station Earls court located in a quiet lateral road. Small food shops also only 5 minutes away, exactly like the pizzeria Zizzi, where you can eat. Directly opposite of the hotel is an idyllic small connection -street to the subway with very cute houses ( because the hotel already often here is shown, I will show once the view of the small street. ).
We always at 8:00 Hours breakfast, were this time still several tables free ... and there was no waiting times. The breakfast buffet was more than enough, from hearty to sweet was everything available. I hardly believe, that someone hungry the hotel has quit-) read more
