This hotel had its best years 25 years ago. The condition is smark in need of renovation. We party with friends 3 days the offered silvesterarangemet. Unanimous opinion-worse isn't more. The ballsahl har the charm of a cafeteria 60. years. No demo, the staff are overstrained, food and drinks are minimum standard. The good and very good reviews we believe all for gefaked and are not nearly the actual situation. Recommend a wide berth this hotel to make. read more

As' normalbucher' unfortunately excluded! The view of the Rhein and its surroundings makes up for a lot.
New year's eve in the hotel - without overall arrangement-to book, was very disappointing. Promising reads the hotel description, amongst others, because pub and restaurant in the same building. Food was but unfortunately in the evening none, because the swiss stuben-without that we are at our arrival had been informed-and i quote ' because of excessive demand of the staff at silvester' it was unfortunately was closed, as in the large hall a mass new year's eve party was taking place. We were ... unfortunately not informed, that the new a 'brunch' took place.
All in all: central, but very tired and in need of renovation hotel with little interest to singles. read more

Our new year's eve-group is international (german, swiss, french, all reiseerfahren ). It is true, there is a lot to renew, the glitter and glamour of the past year again. But one tape also: it is an old-venerable tradition hotel, in the course of the decades again and again extended, winding, charming! Big room - small bathrooms, but everything was there. And what a location! But more important the soft factors: expertise, motivation and friendliness of the staff, organisation of silvesterballs, immaculate kitchen to 4 days! It was to be on the upper limit of work (estimated 350 people in ... the house), but excessive demand no trace! Much praise goes to all! We felt at ease. And are coming again! read more

We had first 1 double room with a stage between room and bathroom. After complaint was another double room assigned. The furniture was just bad, outdated tv. Our bathroom was renovated, but also just enough. The rooms are very complicated thanks to the various Bauabschnitte.
So a hotel with 4-star that was it once earlier, but not now! A complete -renovation is urgently necessary!
On weekends clubs preferred! It offered a lot! read more

I had a single room. This was small, the furnishings bad. Old tube tv with poor picture.
What not at all is, there were no stromsteckdose on bed. After a long day longs the smartphone for electricity. I would also like the cell phone wake-up calls.
Only plug sockets at the desk, distance for the electricity wires from the cell phone to the bed too far.
Bathroom was very cramped. Toilet between radiator and shower squeezed in.
Everything I in this hotel saw was old and needs to be renovation.
A big plus are ... all service staff in this hotel.
They are friendly, helpful and attentive.
Should the hotel a grunderneuerung know I come back, otherwise unfortunately not. read more

Well the 4 star of the hotel were already a long time give. The hotel is in a nice location directly on the Rhein. The outside is also very clean. Good location for excursions!
With our first stay we here from the volcano -Eifel explored and loved it.
Once on the taste older, we have once again this hotel with all the offered to relax and the beautiful town of Andernach, the geyser and ' the romans the silberberg ' in Bad Neuenahr visited. We find, there is a good mix of spannendem experience and relax with wellness given. read more

Good location and easy to reach. Big parking. The hotel is very labyrinthine and difficult to understand. The lifts are small, but treppengehen is healthy. Altogether deserved the hotel but no 4 stars. read more

For 4 stars I expect an excellent hotel.
For me, that seems outdated hotel to be.
In my room was peeling of the wall the wallpaper from, it was extremely hot and stuffy, only a small window for some fresh air. Some stains on walls and ceilings are not nice.
In the bathroom is the white silicone partly yellow and black discolored defendendo. The shower was felt 70 times 70 centimeters cramped and the toilet some years old.
Also I expect for 4 stars no 30 centimeters CRT TV and a small pillows.
I have stayed in several 3 Stnen ... hotels slept and better the room had.
The way to the' restaurant', where the breakfast served went through almost endless dark hallways and without signs untraceable.
The breakfast was OK, however also not outstanding.
To other things I can't say, only that the hotel for me not more into question comes, enough parking spaces and perfect located next to the Rhine aren't everything! read more

After a busy week was this hiking and wellness weekend just great. We could wonderful unhitch and were fürstlich pampered.
