Hotel Adjovimar^{(3.5 stars)}

Actually we wanted to to Puerto Naos, but since the seafront complex and noisy renovated (according to the local tourist information probably until mid -2013), we have Los Llanos decided, and for the adjovimar. A good choice. But we because of the fact, that the hotel was booked on arrival (2 spanish holidays in a row plus weekends), contrary to our request a huge, well equipped apartment with 2 bedrooms to the street assigned. To 5 nights we moved as in the travelbooking requested in a smaller, but beautifully furnished and above all very quiet apartment with a view of ... garden and pool. This very well maintained garden is, as has been mentioned here, really a dream and very well laid out-to the left side trees and plants from all over the world (nearly every continent represented), on the right a herb garden-everything german and latin on tonplättchen labeled, the pure nature trail. The location of the hotel is almost optimal-in the town are approximately 8 minutes away on foot, enough parking spaces on the road available, bus stop 6 minutes away. The only bus station on La Palma in Los Llanos is about minutes within walking distance. From the hotel except for the parking lot at the bottom of the Caldera it is just minutes by car. The town itself is only one piece of art, high positioned mural (explanatory metal plates in the paths run), statues, restored houses in the extensive pedestrian zone, great museum (free!), places worth seeing with shaded indian bougainvilleas (Plaza Espana, Plaza chica), a beautiful church, market hall, events, cafes, and so on absolutely worth seeing. Adequate dining-from cheap snack to the upscale Nobel-restaurant and shopping possibilities available. However, you should necessarily rapidly the strict spanish siesta customs internalize, so from 14 until about 18 hours generally almost everything was closed. -) We had 10 days a rental car, and except for the observatories on the roque de las muchachos (we could not permit for the exploration of telescopes on the inside while we were there receive) and the Playa nogales in the north-east (not found, because not marked-we now know, the sign ' bahamar' consequences and locally with native ones liek meat) all managed, what we wanted to see.
