The Ramada Plaza is a well situated town hotel. It is an older building with refined classic
Facilities. The carpets in the rooms and hallways are unfortunately somewhat worn, however clean.
The breakfast is very varied and of good quality. You sit very nice on the terrace to the
River. From the hotel you can all sights good. The pool is unfortunately to certain
Times in the shade and little used.
Altogether an ideal city hotel with good value for money. read more

Perfect hotel for a city trip. Shuttleboat to the skytrain station is available, otherwise possibility with the expressboot. Breakfast is so extensive, that you until the evening so that instruction. The Ramada offers all facilities, a business hotel in the upper category expected. Spacious rooms with comfy beds, opulent breakfast buffet, a 25-metre -pool with refreshing coolly water temperature, two bars and three restaurants. The staff are well trained, competent and friendly. The hotel offers a free shuttle boat to taksin station of the metro. In the immediate area is the asiatique -market with shops and restaurants, the until midnight are open. Criticism: the cleanliness in the hotel rooms was not very convincing, the furniture is partly a bit run down and should in the immediate future be renewed. The ... value for money is satisfactory, but in the oberliga the hotels in Bangkok can the building not (more) join in. The free wi-fi-internet on the rooms worked not always, and if, then trickle the bytes very slowly through the ether. read more

Pleasant location on the chao praya river a bit outside of the center. This can be by free shuttle bus-boat (every 30 minutes) and skytrain easily be reached. Really criticize you have nothing. Which i however was missing, are atmosphere and flair. The lobby has unfortunately the charm a waiting area. There is no lounges, in which you want to spend. That's a pity. The hotel-restaurants were in november little busy, although the kitchen was good and you, if you wanted, also beautifully sit outside could (mosquito spray necessary!). It disturbed me, that in the besuchszeitraum evenings 'oktoberfest' with bavarian ... music took place. Unfortunately on the side my room, luckily only until 23 o'clock. We could sleep thus, but bavarian stimmungslieder i need in Thailand not really.
In short: there are points, the be improved could. But by the good value for money and the great riverside location is the building really recommendable. read more

It is an amazing hotel. In the foyer should however the large carpet to be cleaned.
The staff are very friendly, dedicated and competent. It is however on, that in the restaurant ( terrace) the management once again a training in things service and friendliness they should. It was in the meantime obviously very much invested and considerable improvements reached. In my stays I always very comfortable and the arrogance and dissatisfaction some guests never understand. The hotel is a 'inside tip', the I in any case would be happy to recommend will! read more

We were 3 nights for sightseeing in this hotel before it for swimming has progressed further. Right nearby is a shopping center that leaves nothing to be desired and varied eating options offers. Small train are recommendable, but please the price mind. Room very big, bathroom was OK, just 1 German channels, breakfast okay, european and traditional Thai dishes. Very large hotel, everything very clean, for a city break definitely right, I would go back. Bangkok must be seen, but it is a completely different world. read more

Who good coffee for breakfast loves, must a Kaffeekapselmaschine and coffee carry forward even. This American Filterkaffees, then reheated, is Grauslichkeit not to beat. Should for example on Hilton in Hua Hin a example take. There were 2 medium Italian coffee machines to the self-service. Also had a dinner for 2 people, Cost 1880 Bhat, was optically OK, but we had to the main courses around warm up return. This should in a five-star hotel not. Service is very helpful, location also very good, except for above Comments the hotel is recommendable. read more

The stay was very pleasant, the staff always friendly, breakfast was very varied and international.
We can massage the in-house wellness area highly recommend.
From the hotel around 10 minutes away on foot there is a shopping center in old, converted port- and factory buildings. Where you can evenings very good food and relaxed atmosphere shopping or the day with a cocktail. read more

Beautiful, well situated hotel right on the river with direct shuttle service to the next jetty.
Massive, delicious breakfast buffet right next to river.
The rooms are big but already getting old, we stayed in the 14 floor super, great view

For a short stay in Bangkok very suitable. Location the river through the free boat -shuttle bus - advantageous. We had a upgrade on 'deluxe Riverside', however was the view not directly on the river, but laterally. If we would have known that, we would have probably on an upgrade pass. Room and bathroom are generous, however nothing special modern.
English partly very different. Especially at the front desk, where it is essential, rather bad. I have only every 3. word understood, the rest forefelt.
Breakfast buffet very extensive and delicious. It is worthwhile, outside on the river terrace to ... sit. The premises inside, there is strong air conditioned and very cold and rather uncomfortable.
Concierge' Peter' speaks good English and is very helpful.
The cocktails to the happy hour ( on you again at any time attention) are a poor joke and tasted like children shower.
Unfortunately we also had a negative experience: when we evenings on the terrace on a certain capacity to sit wanted (smoking area, a piece on the river stuck out and with beautiful lounge furniture is), we were not allowed to do so and then two nights in a row. On the question of why only a 'it's closed'. A shame, because from there you had the most beautiful view of the great Skyline. I had the impression, that was comfortable, the area corresponding to prepare with seat bolsters etc. Otherwise one would then have two steps further to run must, in order to the guests to operate. Thereby the boys and girls evenings bored, as hardly anyone on the terrace sat.
The hotel was by far not busy. One tries with Asian groups to compensate.

A lot is already over this hotel written and probably everything is true.
We were for the second time in a short period of time here and it has again fallen.
The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track, but an exquisite shuttle bus service to the skytrain and to the boat dock.
We had again a Plaza suite very spacious, large bath and lots of space.
View of the river is very nice.
Breakfast on the river is also a especially.
Many Germans but also other Nations are here to visit
As mentioned in a earlier Report described, it ... is not real five star hotel, but in Bangkok you think different.
If you have the top quality if you had to walk a little more. read more

The furnishings the complete hotels inclusive pool and garden area, dining rooms, terrace corresponds to the indicated hotel standard. However our over TUI booked room you could rather with an old run-down country inn comparisons. Old and shabby furniture; expired and stinky carpet; ripped curtains; large not definable stains on the walls; partly detached Wallpapers. Was basically stay for the two days absolutely okay. -but only, because one in the room the least amount of time spent. read more

The hotel we selected because it meeting place for our subsequent trip was, therefore we could still relaxed breakfast and then start.
For a few nights it is really recommendable, even if from the outside it, especially from the river from, not very looked inviting.
The breakfast was great, the rooms nicely furnished and large enough.
In the evenings, you could comfortably on the river to sit, eat or a cocktail (european prices).
Pleasant was the shuttle boat the circa every 15 minutes runs, the offer however lots of hotels the river are.
Overall a beautiful hotel, we had nothing ... to fault. read more

The Einganghalle seemed very spacious and grand, the ladies at the front desk could nevertheless a lot of time, it was because of our sneakers and shorts? For a five star hotel in Bangkok was the bathroom way too small, a little mold, the toilet rinsed not really from, the washbasin not at all, the water there was always. The sliding door to the bathroom didn't close properly. But very disappointing on the last night were on our pillows small dusty plastic flowers, should probably nice his, as goodbye, in Thailand.
in the evening outside at the water front in ... the hotel bar, the service came, two drinks ordered, came right rapid, then after about ten minutes the waiter came with the bill. We love to have more drunk, but with the overpriced prices, we were not very hospitable served, since we are but preferred the bed gone, in which we slept soundly.
