Hotel Palas^{(4 stars)}

Rooms are large and furnished sufficiently, clean and wonderful views to the sea, refrigerator in room, large balcony with seating, air-conditioning, large flatscreen TV with 2 German channels, telephone, bathroom large shower, all tiled, it was cleaned every day, a little noisy when the noisy neighborhood.

1 Large dining room, 1 bar, several 2004/2005 partly with service were available, always clean table linen, kitchen typical of the country and to the part of the French guests always be adjusted for dinner, water and white or red wine including, as much as you wanted the used dishes were always cleared immediately, food and drinks were always refilled, for breakfast, there were different coffee drinks, cocoa, hot and cold milk, juices, everything was sufficient.

Friendly staff, not many language skills, but speak excellent German 1 force at the front desk and also at the bar you could communicate in German with 1 waiters, English is good understood French even better (because of the large number French guests ) daily changing of towels, room always clean, tips are grateful adopted by cleaning staff (deserves)where reference and complaints they responded relatively quickly and everything to satisfaction

Internet access available, but very expensive. no animation for German guests in the hotel, only in French and often very loud, pool was relatively large and clean, but cold, as it was always fresh water supply, beach chairs and umbrellas available (free of charge), beach relatively clean, unfortunately many cigarette butts, as almost all smoking, beach chairs and umbrellas enough, but compare prices!!! really put on bathing shoes because stones in the sea, before you can swim!!!! Sea water clean and clear to the bottom.

Medium-sized hotel, about 170 rooms, a clean relatively large pool with seawater, half board ok, breakfast somewhat monotonous, but at any time enough, even if you were almost late, dinner very versatile, lots of fish, many different salads, always dessert, fruit daily, but mostly just 1 variety each day, guests mostly from France (90 %), it is sometimes very loud in the dining room, at peak times.food beginning until 7:30 , then 2. Week from 7 PM, was better

The beach was right below the hotel, only a promenade in between, shopping and entertainment possibilities everything, not far from the hotel at night favorite beach promenade, shops and restaurants open until late, so sometimes a bit noisy until late at night (around 1 :30 am). Buses operate several times a day from the local bus in the different directions, but you shouldn't expect such buses as it was for us, rates are ok, from the travel agent trips, just like bay of Kotor and heart of Montenegro (Tara gorge) worth it, Dubrovnik less because too far and too long drive through border crossing

Spacious rooms, two full beds and a pull out sofa. TV, refrigerator, telephone, air conditioning (which we because of the heat running day and night), furnished balconies, work desk, 2 chairs. The bathroom was newly decorated. Optically and functional (large shower) - absolutely great. There was hair dryers and makeup mirrors

Breakfast from 7 :00am-10 , dinner sadly only from 7:30 pm. The food not huge but enough and good, there were always immediately refilled. The coffee is good and comes right from the machine, you can select the kind of itself. Unfortunately sometimes they to traffic jams if groups at once. Do not expect rolls. Fresh white bread (in bright and "dark") is at every meal.

Excellent service. The towels were only changed once and bed linen at least 2 times per week. The rooms were cleaned in the morning. The restaurant is self service (buffet), the tables were immediately cleared, it piled up along the used dishes anywhere. This good service with a small tip honor (unfortunately no collection boxes available, so you do right on the husband or the wife.) at the front desk spoke German, in the restaurant for example also

Daily entertainment, unfortunately only in French for the older club vacationers. Pool looked very well-kept, but was not used by us

The exterior of the hotel Palas invites you not to dream, the interior gives but a aha-effect. All expectations of a 3 star hotel were exceeded. There are 2 elevators, an internet cafe (15 minutes = 1 euro), hairdressers, sauna, pharmacy (prices on medicines are significantly lower than those in Germany), small souvenir shop, in the dining room were enough tables, so that we never fighting for a seats available. Predominantly French guests 60 +, the guaranteed as a relaxing night's sleep. Nobody celebrations or drunk and disorderly. J near the front desk (and/or at the elevator) there is an outside W-Lan (PDA worked) There is a pool, there are lounge chairs (so nice to work) and umbrellas are free. (We didn't use the pool since the ocean was warm enough) The hotel has its own ATM (also VisaPlus for example for PoBa-got money for). Half-board or full board.

Great location directly by the (pebble) beaches. The gravel is fine enough to a beach towels to sunbathe. (The prices for beach chairs and umbrellas are 3 or 2 euros per day). We bought our own umbrella (8 -12 euros). shoes are recommended, there are also buy some (10 - 13 Euro). The water is crystal clear. It is really fast deep into the water (not so ideal for children) in the immediate vicinity there were enough kiosks the open on Sunday and a smaller supermarket. There are nearly everything (Nescafé, sunscreen, ..... ) The Post is closed on Sundays, but is also nearby. A variety of restaurants provide additional food (which is not necessary). If you were there with the heat (in June 30°C) 14 days throughout, you could find also the possibility for small hikes (from the main exit, then follow justice ... ) The bus stop of the town is about 5 away. From there buses to Budva, bar, Sutomore, Ulcinj , Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi. (There are different companies and so prices fluctuate wildly) from the hotel there is also a direct bus shuttle to Budva in the harbor there is the opportunity for smaller boat trips.

The room was big enough, it was with 2 beds, a couch, small flat area with writing area, telephone, refrigerator, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, closet with plenty of storage space. We especially liked the bathroom. It is modern and tasteful lit, tiled and decorated. A hairdryer, shower with 2 shower heads, one of them was a rain shower!!!, a nice vanity completed the nice bathroom. The room had a balcony with table and chairs. The ocean view was fantastic. The room service was very good and fast. Thank you. With 1 or 2 euros on the bed, or also personally we could say thank you. Tips are appreciated, but did not expect was my impression.

There was a big dining room with sea view. The dining room has been recently been remodeled and was bright and functional. At the hotel I saw 2 bars, one up in the lobby and one at the login to the garden. The food was were offered in buffet style and was good to very good. Every evening there was local dishes. The evening of drinks were free red and white wine and water. Used cutlery was cleared quickly during the meals and the service was very good and friendly.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed the staff were friendly, asked questions about land and people were answered with patience. The communication in the hotel was in German possible for us, even the older colleagues spoke very good German. The rooms were good and thoroughly cleaned. Everything was great.

Entertainment was offered in the context of the club vacationers, to other activities I can't say, I don't need. There are several internet spots in the games room, where slots. This offer is a fee and is served from an outside vendor powered. The pool was despite the still cool water temperatures of used several vacationers. He made a very clean impression and the tile floors were swept almost daily in the outside area!! Chairs and sun-umbrellas, showers are available and use free of charge in the hotel. In the garden there was a small mini golf with several trains. The beach was clean, the water quality crystal clear. In the area of the beach promenade at the time for further improvements construction.

The "Palas" is a 3 star hotel right next to the beach. We stayed from the 2.05.-9.05.2010 a good holiday with half board at this hotel. The hotel has 3 floors, a large light-filled open area with a wonderful view of the sea. In the hotel were about 250 guests during our visit in the house. Accurate capacity not known. At the time we were only 5 Germans in this hotel, the rest were French guests at a "club 3000" holiday. This club is probably principal of the hotel. The average age was high, there were mostly French seniors respectively older couples, characterized by were the signs for events and other in French and some was probably the "club 3000" offer. This was not bothersome. The smaller events but the entertainers in the area of the lobby and the open bar going on we found not nice. They could have in the existing separate spaces through may result. A conversation several was therefore not possible.

The hotel is right on the promenade bordering the bay of Petrovac. There is a direct access to the promenade and the behind British owned beach. In the garden of the hotel are 3 small shops, clothing, and a small pharmacy, but was closed in the lobby is a bar, there is a pool which is half indoors. In the area of the beach promenade there were small boutiques, cafes, restaurants with a typical local food. Since we were there in the off-season holiday to the destination country, we could get to know typical "noise" don't know how. Excursion possibilities will be offered. Since we but the country with the help of a rented car itself we explored was this service for us not of interest.

The rooms were tidy, even hangers were available. Air conditioning and fridge was already pointed out. Not even a functioning hair dryer was missing. There was satellite-TV with ZDF, RTL and a series watches sports channel, next to the usual international and local channels.

Plentiful and varied buffet was found it very convenient, that you never had a long "with scratched" plates implication had to; a variety of spirits made the stay in the very large dining room (in a certain during rush hour but are naturally Unavoidable noise level) quite pleasant. Lunch and dinner was very orderly (fresh vegetables, always fish, also sometimes seafood, several sorts of meat), sometimes needed to be seasoned, overall it could have been a bit hotter, although constantly served fresh, great dessert. A drawback: The domestic scales showed to end two kilos more. The table wine - included in the price was ok.

The hotel was Sometimes they would make the guest structure surrounded by nature, due to the French - but the staff at the front desk and the always present yet (!) manager spoke very good German. The room cleaning was efficient and prompt, after breakfast was already a tidy clean room. The bathroom was 3 star level, everything worked. towels and bedlinen every 2-3 days, the toilet paper was even of decent quality. Very enjoyable, found that the air conditioning was relatively quiet and efficient and a small refrigerator - from and even stocked, the stay pleasant. After two days we changed rooms, because a coffee shop across a hard-working singer night until 1am and with folklore - took some getting used to for Central European ears - basses. In the new room we were impeccably that was all good. There were activities for the French (club 3000 ) plentiful, and didn't disrupt but not.

Sport was not expected more in our age group, we do not in a pool when outside the crystal-clear sea for a bath attracts. There was an Internet access, but not exactly fast was, for an e-mail to the beloved ranged in each case. The beach was superficially kept clean, against the cigarette butts (from locals) was not a grown weeds. Two beach chairs, a sunshade cost 5 euros together, "free" beach parts are in Petrovac pretty scarce, changing rather spartan. Still As nicer Lusice-beach there are about 20 minutes, to the very long, but quite spartan Bulgarica-beach about 40 minutes walking; the latter is worth only if you had nothing better to do.

The sprawling resort complex is only from the waterfront separated from the sea; the beach itself (pool chairs, an umbrella is available for a fee) is very upkeep, which was probably not the hotel is to be attributed. You were compensated through a beautiful view of two small islets together with the palm trees in the promenade almost Caribbean flair. We had booked full board. As the school had Dawned, there were a few local families with kids, otherwise almost exclusively French mostly vintages and a small portion local; a handful of Germans, we won't necessarily consider that a drawback. Only, Sometimes they would make the French, a good opportunity old INTERMEDIATE upgrading.

The location is a lovely, well-arranged promenade with lots of nice bars and cafes, which we found very reasonably priced. A small supermarket was only a few steps away, the larger, virtually everything got (there was even diabetic chocolate with purple cow, also the post office only a few steps away. Very nice hiking in the mountains and along the coast, the tour possibilities to the romantic inland, to Kotor or Budva, even Dalmatia and even Albania were bookable. The network of buses is close, jump in the gaps taxis a, very correctly billed (example Ulcinj-bar, meter: €26 , 15.00 € download, less would have been included, but we found than obscene). Our destination airport was Dubrovnik, so it is quite a walk away.
