We had hiking holidays planned and was the location of the hotel great. In a short period of time you reached the starting point for mountain and hiking tours. Unfortunately were at this time of the year not very many jausestationen open. Incomprehensible as herbstferienzeit was. The hotel captivates with its really quiet location and the beautiful wellness area. Because of the relatively few room was this never 'overpopulated'. Our room corresponded unfortunately not the most current expectations, relatively small and with carpets made for. The bathroom was also very small. Here would be definitely action and has the overall ... impression a bit spoiled. We booked half board. Breakfast was pristine. Egg dishes were on order and were freshly prepared. For dinner you had the choice of two menu' s and a vegetarian dish. On one of the courts in the mood, it was also possible without a problem for example a Wiener Schnitzel with fries to get. Pleasant also the various evening events. Of live music on liquor-tasting to walks in the evening was daily something offered. read more

Extremely friendly staff; cleanliness on the whole house and the be comfortable of the guests is all important; the food is sensational well and absolutely sufficient (!); the salads always fresh and the appetizers offer small delicacies; excursions to Bolzano and Meran are can only be recommended; we are definitely coming again - especially for hikers the routes so fast not come. The value for money in this hotel is more than perfect The staff both in the service, as well as at reception is in any case friendly and helpful. It can provide information about hiking and excursions issued ( Bolzano, Bruneck and Brixen are not far). The slogan of falkensteiner chain 'welcome home' is really translated into reality. In this portal criticism on dinner is incomprehensible. The dishes were very varied and tasted excellent. One selects the EVE mostly from; there is almost daily a vegetarian menu to choose from or you can main course between meat, Poultry or fish ... select. Otherwise there is a salad- respectively starters buffet ( Meeresfrüchtesalat, vitello tonnato, grilled vegetables and much more) where you can serve yourself, before the actual 3-course menu is served. Often there are issues and barbecues or there will be a gala menu served. We would gladly come again! read more

About the cleaning of the hotel there are absolutely nothing to worry about. Also the location and hotel area is perfect and very nice. The spa area was great. Only the water of the pools would have a few Degrees warmer. Also the staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. But from the food I expected more for a four star hotel. The breakfast buffet was reasonable! But the menus in the evening I was disappointed. The main course was mostly as well as cold, as was served. And tasted it also not convinced. The staff in the restaurant ... is also room for improvement. read more

the hotel is in the middle of the town terenten location. A little above is even a small ski slope with lift, the always( end of February) yet to drive on was. It has about 40 rooms, the a very well maintained impression make. We booked half-board, but got lunch small lunch and in the afternoon or other surprise ( for example mulled wine on the terrace). The guests were mixed, there were Belgian, luxembourg, Italian, German, austrian and Eastern European guests. All very pleasant and reserved. All age structures were available, young couples, on families up to older guests. read more

    We had a very large rooms, the details a modern impression mediated, which we as pleasant found. The furniture was already somewhat older, but well maintained and by a timeless style fitting to the remaining. The bathroom was wonderful newly renovated, very clean and the cosmetic line of the hotel adequate. There was in our room television, a balcony with a wonderful view, telephone and safe.

    There was a restaurant, in several rooms was divided, all individually and comfortably equipped. In front of the restaurant is a lounge area with bar, in the very comfortable a pre-dinner drink or after the visit of the restaurant the evening comfortable end. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The meals are freshly prepared and responding arranged. Especially us that salad buffet looking forward to it, at which one-could use it. It was very varied decorated. The remaining Courses of the menus you could always in the evening before dialing, so that there was something for everybody. The kitchen was typical of the country style, nevertheless refined presented.

    the staff were very friendly, especially at the front desk. We were very warm welcome and after our wishes and prior to asking. As in South Tyrol German spoken is, it gave for our absolutely no problems. The cleaning our room took place always thorough and we were really satisfied. There was a games room for the children, but we didn't go there.

    as I have already mentioned is the hotel is in the middle of the town terenten. You can stroll and purchases active, also small restaurants are available, which we did not use however. To our preferred winter sports region the kronplatz it was about 20 kilometers away. As a starting point for the Exploration of South Tyrol sights it is also suitable, as it is only about 14 kilometer to the highway and the feeder road newly developed.

    My rooms were big enough, the furniture not quite modern, but they are well maintained. But the remaining facilities the contemporary taste adjusted. The bathroom was on reconverted into, clean and with all the necessary things, like hair dryer, shower gel and so on equipped. There was a safe, a telephone and a tv with some german channels. Of a small balcony the wonderful panorama enjoy.

The kitchen brings food with local accents in formal quality. Very pleasant i found the choice between various appetizers and main courses.

    The accessibility of the brenner pass -highway is very good. A newly developed street shortened the access route significantly. Also the place terenten is very pleasant and shops and small restaurants are easy to reach. The kronplatz my winter sports region is 20 minutes away, there is also a hotel's own ski bus, which is very convenient.

    We had a family room, size about 33 square meters. The room was despite 2 window very, very dark. This changed anyway not really after we had a small lamp from the caretaker got. The clothes in the closet you could not see. On the whole everything okay.

    Simple, simple, simple! We were 3 Times during dinner. One day there were for example two different types of fish. Our fish was not descaled! (on the bones could possibly still be overlooked.) the second fish, a salmon was sluggish- not enjoyable. In the so-called Gala dinner, there were 2 times a Salatmischung, the not washed. 1 course-duck on Salatmischung, 3 course steak on Salatmischung. Everything almost not salted. On the third day: A South Tyrolean Bauernbüfett (was still the best) Had one however not much cooking-Miscellaneous ham and cheese. Pork knuckles, sauerkraut, hauswurst and Kasnocken, Knödelvariationen. Everything was to hard and rustic. There was for vegetarians on request either Omelet! Or noodles with tomato sauce At noon only remaining soup from the vortag and corn, carrots, mixed salad. Stayed in other Falkensteiner hotels in South Tyrol -it was the same.

    At the front desk one is endeavored much and always friendly. The trainee very unfriendly-almost already rude-had no desire, so you say, to serve us and chic after a while a colleague with the ordered Spieleiern, which is radically different than the days before were served! The lady on the 'denial' raised confirmed this!

    the rooms are big enough and decorated in a friendly style. Me personally it had a little too many antlers on the wall. the bathroom was large enough, so that also a bewegungseingeschränkter man this way have found. altogether was our room, therefore, that it is just a balcony door and no window had, a little dark. Also the lighting in the room was romantic, but not for reading suitable.

There were no clues cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant to complain about. the dishes were outstanding, both in buffet form, as well as as order of courses. however I found the food personally something meat annoying( however of magnificent quality and preparation). the wine prices are a bit more upscale. You get but not only Bottles, but also the bottles offered Wines than 1/4 liter glass.

    the location is a bit away from the main routes above the puster valley on a small plateau. This is sunny and has a great view of the surrounding mountain world. If you want a Shoppinparadies searches, is in the wrong place here, but the possibilities for excursions especially on foot lovely and begin directly behind the hotel. Naturally there are also the possibility -even with public Transport to Brixen or bruneck to drive.

We stayed in a nice and large family suite. Childrens age 13 and 10 years. Children enjoyed the pool area a lot. The food was wonderful! Nice walks nearby. Large Playground in the village, only 5 Minutes from the Hotel. Only a 20 min drive to Brixen and to Bruneck, both are very nice towns with a beautiful historic center and shopping facilities. read more
