At the hotel stay mont royal is a small hotel with about 5 rooms in the first and 5 rooms on the 2nd floor. Access is over narrow steep stairs. Rates and under http://www. Booking. Com remote, very friendly and inviting-looking figures originate probably from the time, as the olympic games in Montreal took place: so bad the value for money and so old the furniture. The room stunk strongly like sweat, the window did not open and the air conditioning was very loud with low efficiency. The hotel by dirt stuck together. The handrail of the stairs leading ... to the 2nd floor was on the lower anchor from the wall. A on the wall stuck note warned against this abuse. In the room price the breakfast was included. The 'breakfast room' with two small tables was for the during our stay in the hotel 'living' guests way too small, so that some it breakfast in the revenue. Actually I wanted to not even a sun for 'very poor' rating read more

Such a' breakfast' we have never offered wooden: there was a large stack ( around 20 to 30) plates for the guests ready. Top plate: only half cleaned. Well, that can happen and as we are not fussy. I have your dish on the side and the next taken. Also dirty. Only the 5. the plates this batch was so far okay, that I did with the scrap a napkin to use could. When we then the butter dish looked, we have decided, on the breakfast and only the offered, wrapped drinking yoghurt to us. The butterstück looked fresh, but the box made the impression, as if it were for a long time been washed. Also here again no sun.

The owner was nice, spoke french, English and spanish (probably mother tongue). The rooms were in despicable condition. The carpet old and dirty, from the ceiling a smoke detector on a wire, the drawers of the dresser were full of crumbs from the previous guests. Actually no sun

Conveniently located nearby the subway-station mont-royal, but also on the corner of two strongly traveled street located. Depending on noise sensitiveness and the accessibility of the city center this is as' rather good 'or' bad ' rating. I for 'rather good' decided.

The hotel is very centrally located in Montreal (near subway) on a busy street, so the rooms are a little noisy. Plenty of bars and cafes the at night we are within walking distance. A/C, sink, and a TV and fridge are in the little rooms available (if the security not malfunction, work the electric devices also impeccable: -)) Shared bathroom is very clean as the toilettes too. Parking is poor (there is a public parking lot 2 blocks away for CAD 8.00/day for the during the day at least guarded is). All in all it was a very ... pleasant stay, Staff is super friendly and the area ideal starting point for your city break. Beware - not suitable for older people! baggage must be a steep narrow stairs bring them up - you should be fit: -) clientele rather young couples with little luggage, breakfast simple but fresh and tasty (coffee, Kaffeestücke, croissants, yogurts, fruit juices.) read more

Nice helpful staff (like something out of students). The front desk is open only from 11:00 - 11:00 pm occupied.

Very centrally located in the district of Mont Royal. Metro station vis-a-vis the hotel. Day pass metro currently costs only CAD 7.00 per person.
