For a vacation with a child definitely not suited. If you no special have expectations the hotel is fine. The hotel has a pub character this means many locals guests. Who this hotel should definitely the dinner book because it is first class! The rooms are huge have arabic flair but unfortunately ageing. The outdoor areas ( garden and building) are in very bad condition. A children's playground there are unfortunately not. The staff are very friendly. Opposite is a supermarket and nearby about 5 minutes a mall. In short, for fourteen days vacation rather a few Euro spend more ... and another hotel book. read more

The hotel has already a few years old but in the price-performance -proportion great. The food is good and I'm quite sensitive in this regard. I found it now not too bad that you the beach only with the shuttle bus reached has. I would go there again. read more

The vacation was great. However just a thank you to the people, the country & the hotel ( Bin Majid hotel) we get a access to the beach had.
The Rak hotel had however formerly a better reputation.
The room was cleaned every day. However you had the comforter the actually the bed belongs, not on the bed put, but was our entire stay in the corner on the floor. The shower curtain one has changed once. Towels every day.
The mini bar extremely overpriced.
Example: A coke in the Carrefour for 1. 50 AEd to buy them, was in ... the minibar for 45 AEd sold.
The front desk was nothing special friendly. Speaks good English but a word of German.
The restaurant we only the breakfast revenue, was nothing special clean. There were small krabbelkäfer at each table. Cutlery and mugs yourself.
The buffet was everyday the same and nothing special delicious. Drinks consisted of milk, tea, coffee, water, Apple Juice, orange juice and water. The juices were however rather sodas and man.
Fruit consisted of watermelon, honeydew melon, pineapple and grapes. And also only in small quantities.
We had a private car, therefore quite free.
Taxis way it at each corner and quite cheap. For 10 kilometer = 15 AEd = 3 euros
In the center of town you 5 minutes with the taxi.
A transfer to the beach in the sister hotel there was only at 10:00 o'clock early and collection at 16:00 o'clock evenings free of charge.
The transfer from the airport and back at the end our vacation was rather a rally.
Since in the Emirates a speed limit of 120 kilometer per hour is, this car an audible Beeb signal if the speed uberschreitet. Our drivers is the whole time 140 kilometer per hour drive. So we had to 1 hour long this signal hear. He outdistanced right, left and drove up to a half meters on other cars on. Not for every stomach. read more

The food and drinks were relatively varied and tasted good to very good. Unfortunately, no alcoholic beverages be ordered. The room was big and attractively furnished.
A safe I did not discover, but also not particularly missed. Is also for a few days the warm water canceled, what however the warm temperatures was not so bad.
Disturbing I found, that in the lobby smoking was allowed. Exemplary was however, that free both newspapers ( for example Gulf news) English to read, as well as a computer internet surfing used could. However missing in this hotel a travel brochures (not in ... German or English) the destination, the country and the offered excursions presents. Sister
Bin Majid beach hotel ( whose beach be used free of charge could) could these documents however be found. Unfortunately, the free shuttle bus only once daily (10:00 A. M. Back and at 16:00 o'clock back) there. The offered excursions were all very expensive, so that the question is, if you aren't in your own country explore should ( rental car, by taxi, public bus, etc.) and so much money. Altogether it was a great and very interesting vacation in pleasant atmosphere, a fair base price ( hotel and flight). read more

If we in the hotel we were most of the time by the pool and were refreshed, since very few guests stayed in the pool area, most have at the beach anyway, it was the total relaxation for us. In the first night to street now used, have in the morning at the front desk asked to change and we could choose a room, everything worked out great. At the beach we were 2 times everything was great, there is also massage who, as always, were also good, price performance ratio of course. The service at the front desk, in ... the restaurant and in the whole plant was perfect. All in all a relaxing, great holiday for us. read more
