A very well located 4 star hotel in the middle in the center of Oberstaufen. Food gourmet nature however the standard rooms in the main building straight times 20 meters ² with large bathroom. This is but also because, that the building under monument protection and not up to the latest standard will be extended.
After change of the room in the nearby guest house was the shower not greater, so that a large developed guest barely space. This is a 4 star hotel not appropriate.
The front desk made on arrival no motivated impression, since we already at the ... check-in the standard room a different room had requested from the aforementioned reasons. read more

Because of my short stay (2 days) the hotel I can very limited evaluate, since I only the room and no other facilities used. This was however very charming and attractive! I have with me immediately very comfortable. The room offered lots of space, the bathroom was against a bit small ( very clean), but my short stay it didn't bother us. It fit somehow everything together, provided you expected no hochmodere perfection. Most impressed me the friendliness all staff-I did not exception met. It was more than just professional friendliness, I received, without that these also only ansatzweise pushy ... arrived. Very charming, very accommodating and very helpful! Even the maid service always seemed happy to be. A delight! But was the price very fair. I would book this hotel again anytime. read more

First I must say that we for our wedding a voucher for the Romantiktage in the Hotel Adler given. In the brochure / coupon everything looked very nice. On the way there we had to determine that the promise of parking spaces at the hotel rather bad than the right are. If you park you should expect, that he car first on the day of departure again can use. In the room there was the next disappointment. Of romance no trace. The room was clean, but not for the Romantiktage presented. The bathroom was also big and clean, but it ... smelled intensiev urine. This odor was only in the 2. day trip. The breakfast buffet was OK. But I would advise against the fruit to eat. The chef uses probably to onions and fruit cut the same knife. In any case the fruit something after onions tasty. The wellness area I can unfortunately not rate. As we wanted to use, we were pointed out, that the sauna already 4 hours at and is now off, although this loud brochure still should be open. For the return trip came brilliant. We had major impact on the coupon on figures. Supposedly would the coupon the benefits are not cover. I wonder why on the voucher the number of nights and the 4-course menu is if you at the end for precisely these performance not insignificant on figures must. We were to the third time in this hotel and would not be returned, if we are not already in the years before much.
This time we had special wishes for the food and what the health concerned. So we ordered in advance Trennkosten and had further still asked, because Glutenunversträglichkeit and high Colesterin, this at the preparation of the food to be taken into account. Every day we were on the new positively surprised. That food was qualitatively high-quality, freshly prepared and well among themselves co-ordinated. A pleasure for the eye. We could our vacation really enjoy and us ... on the kitchen leaving.
In addition Mr Simon N. of public health, as well as wellness was responsible. Every year we are the new surprised, how quickly he the problem recognizes and can help. It deals with the thorn-Method. But also all other treatments are very well thought out and do just fine, so we dearest equivalent again would book.
We had us with several guests entertain and have exactly positive comments on Mr N. expressed as we, were in the first moment surprised, but happy and with new energy drove home.
A stay as he could not be. The waiters in the entire house was, as always very attentive and friendly.

We were together with friends for 4 days in the Hotel Adler.
We were very pleasant welcome. Our room in the 1st floor of the main building was great and in the beds we slept well. The bathroom was large enough.
The breakfast was great, scrambled or fried eggs were freshly prepared. For me fresh fruits very important and that was also enough.
We had the half board (4-course) and the food was very good. There were 2 main courses to choose from, including a vegetarian.
The only point of minus: there was in 2 consecutive days pork (with the ... vegetarian we could us not to make friends itself).
Of course we asked the waiter, whether we perhaps to order may and his reply was, that the boss since probably not impressed would be.
On vacation I like me do not annoy and therefore we did on a confrontation with the waiter. This pork was very good and there was another Sauce, than the day before!
In the hotel you get the Oberstaufen-plus card, thus drives one amongst others free bus and mountain railway.
In our package was also the use the hydro-jets and a power plate training with staff Trainer. Reasons we these but we didn't make use of it.
I can recommend this hotel and would also come again! read more

The hotel is centrally located in Oberstaufen. My booked single room was big enough. The location my room was however bad, since below of the room, both the kitchen, as well as the reception area was and it was very rowdy. The bathroom was very small, however newly renovated. Wi-Fi was free. The staff were mostly friendly. The breakfast buffet was OK.
In short: for a short break anytime again. For a longer vacation, I would another hotel choose. read more

We had gourmet -half board and i can only say, that i already long not so good anymore eaten. Boss himself cooks with... Guests i would rather from 50 establish-a few young couple with small child. read more

We were with friends in the hotel and we all loved it. One US welcomed in a friendly manner and well served. The particular 4-course menu really good! Perfect, that the hotel very centrally located. You can all things to Do on foot undertake, it is to the train station or Kneiptour.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel Adler and we can all around only laudatory comment. Our room was large, clean and cozy furnished. The staff were very accommodating and for example after our instruction on a small irregularities promptly and dropped. For breakfast there was a rich selection, with the cramped parking we came along. All the best you can recommend this hotel to others anytime. The location is ideal, short walk to the ski bus. The aquaria is also easily easy to reach on foot. Great views of the mountains and the ski arena. Steibis. read more

We were in Oberstaufen in January 2012 for an extended weekend or a short break of wellness and skiing. The quality of the hotel we were completely satisfied. The staff were very friendly and able. The cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent! The meals are very well prepared and the drink prices are appropriate.

I have on my request by email, if you bathrobes to carry no choice Answer. Also we were not told, that you massage in the guest house, and the the lady at the front desk said, I was on it pointed out, that the ladies at the front desk no choice mistake make! On 2 dinner there were twice absolutely identical the same vegetables in addition. The room was however very nice. The wellness area is also nice, but very small, there were only 5 chairs in the quiet area. read more

the hotel is a gem in central location oberstaufen. We spend several years at the Adler beautiful vacations. The hotel is well maintained, have just recently prepared with the taverns new Curtains and upholstery on purchases, and in my opinion the previous definitely not been to renew. clear, it is constant for the guest beautified, kind details very nice. If you are looking for a designer hotel, is in the wrong place here in the square, a quaint and the eagle hospitality-just comfortable unappealing level-to high-quality in my opinion this is building even under protection of historical monuments or similar. ... The hotel has the 4-star classification in my opinion deserves, if you're not happy here, is your own fault. read more

The breakfast is rather which for workers, very rustic. There is no croissant's, cakes or Kipferln. Fish are only on Sundays, but not constant, but if the bowls are empty it takes half an hour to new at the buffet come. read more

We had the pleasure, the last weekend at the hotel. The menus in the evening were a culinary highlight. The check-in process was more than enough and good. The staff are super friendly. the food is a true culinary experience, particularly theroasted duck in black carob beer sauce! It was just wonderful. The staff are super nice, highly competent and fit. The hotel is just kind, has charm (monument-protected house!), the wellness area small but nice-hydrojet-beach chair you have to try ☺ with massages you cloud hanging on the seventh price performance ratio great. But the best-again: big compliment to the kitchen! And overall the staff ☺ we will be back! read more

We had a very nice short vacation in hotel with a very nice atmosphere. Food was very fast (45 minutes for a four course dinner menu!) but the quality was really very good. At the front desk we were greeted very friendly and we were pampered from the entire staff. We booked a Groupon, therefore perhaps also the room in the guest house. This does not mean the equipment, which was good, but the carpet and the dust. In room number eight guest house is completely worn, shabby, faded and stained. Because we think it is totally unacceptable and should ... be urgently exchanged. The eye, if you enter the room. The room was perhaps a longer time not inhabited, because we had a really very dusty 'wrong' house plant and not directly be seen walking legs as table, window sills and, above all, the window in the bathroom were really inside very dusty and just needed before moving of the guests cleaned or dusted. The wellness area was small and fine, there are, however, to relax really only five beach chairs available. We had a beach chair to the sauna courses, other guests unfortunately not. Parking is very tight as it had been described sometimes, but you have to fight its place and hope, that the car, and just before leaving next to a. The Central and sunny location is brilliant and we really enjoyed it! A 'bar' there is also, however, not really comfortable to sit and drink a glass of wine very nice, right next to the entrance area. For watching the soccer but it was fine. We didn't complain at the management because of the room in the guest house, as we found, as the rooms are allocated on the Groupon coupon (two people, 199 euro, two night and breakfast included half board, massages and various other treatments) and the hotel was very busy. The regular price that would of course not acceptable to us former. However, we have been entered in precisely this point the guests-evaluation form and hope, that they encounter a opened ear. Above all, as in previous reviews the cleanliness was always lifted, which we unfortunately not applied. We can still recommend this hotel, but not in the room number eight guest house! read more
