A hotel with very good service. The room are already about run-down, but nevertheless reasonable. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. There was no cause for complaint. Particularly worthy of mention are the wide choice the food for breakfast and with the main course. Extremely tasty and super in the buffet served. The tables were numbered and one always had his set capacity. Drinks in bottles, the meal not consumed, were marked and during the next food again brought to the table. The nautilus consists of a 7-story main building and from a 3-story side building. It is really a bit outdated already, but still in very good condition. Also about the cleaning there is nothing to complain about. The (mostly root -) guests come mainly from gigabyte, the Netherlands and the German speaking room. The average age is 65 +. read more

    The furniture and the bathroom are a few run-down, however technically ok. The mattresses on the bed were also good and the air conditioning works perfectly. Sufficiently large closet with many hangers, sideboard with plentifully drawers, 2 bedside tables and counter for suitcase provide for ample storage space. Ancient -tv without vt. It is worth noting the fact that at the guest structure the safe below in the closet appropriate, so that one every time to open on the knee must. The bathroom has bath, 2 washbasin and hair dryer. The somewhat divided toilets area toilet and bidet. The balcony is in case enough large. Worth mentioning is the double glazing on window. The many highly praised dinner buffet we could however little smile. Undoubtedly the quantity really reasonable, the salad buffet always the same and the appetizers repeated every three days. The warm buffet repeated also several times the week. This is actually not so bad, but it was almost exclusively on sensitive mediaeval stomach laid out. The vegetables was mostly tasteless and the potatoes-and meat dishes only slightly spiced-short said scanty. The typical local dishes tasted there already better, but were clearly in the minority. A spanish theme evening turned out to be a glass of sangria, a galizischem Gulasch, as well as different kinds of salami and ham. Also not large was happy with the quality of the desserts buffet, which aim reason also always identical was. In short: in terms of choice corresponds the buffet already four-star standard, but tasted we have eaten much better.

    Directly at the beach, in front of the house the paved endless beach promenade, The beach cottages had in the evening to this end silent. The hotel is outdated, should however from November 2012 extensively renovated. Striking is a large proportion of guests from the Netherlands, as well as great britain. Altogether are pool area and dining room in the proportion to guests way too small. read more

    The dining room was for the number of guests way too small. Accordingly was the rush at the buffet. We booked it from the reason preferred, ten minutes later to eat to go. However was already quite early start, the food clear up, so that no one could comfortably eat. You the staff too long sit, you more or less leaving the dining room asked. This is also in another Riu-hotel never noticed. The quality of the dishes is good Riu-kitchen and for everyone participates something. Also about the cleanliness in the dining room you couldn't complain. What however for breakfast noticed, was, that no cutlery on the table and you even had to take. This is basically also no problem, but to be, if hotel guests it at the buffet especially hurry and one knife and fork in the side or in the back to feel gets.

What especially noticed, was the behavior the hotel management. This gleaming in particular through ignorance or through absence. We were so far used to, that the hotel management at the meal times the guests welcomed, from and to the well-being inquired or just was present. Here fell on, that the men meanwhile rather in the hotel bar or even outside of the hotel coffee drank. Perhaps we are from dn other hotels a bit spoiled, but it matched the overall impression. The staff at the hotel at the front desk spoke good German, in the restaurant one was with English better cared for.

    The pool is for the number of guests way too small, as are far from enough loungers available. This means, that in the morning at an early stage loungers be reserved. The major factor is however, that lots of guests inconsiderate and either left and right from a more liege reserve, so that nobody besides them borrowed or that guests reserve chairs, however the whole day not by the pool appearance, except evenings, to the towels pick up. Positive is here merely the location of the hotel. Of the pool you're in half a minute at the beach...

    The hotel lies with the best location, directly to beach and promenade. In just a few minutes you can reach on foot the beautiful marina of benamaldena with very nice restaurants and bars. For excursions to Granada ( Alhambra), malaga, Marbella, Gibraltar, etc. Is the resort excellent. Recommendable is the rent a borrowing car and the taking along of a navigation system for the car of at home.

The hotel and in particular the technical facilities has gotten old, nevertheless everything made a well kept and clean impression. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Visitors were especially from Holland, France and Spain arrived. Annoying, that the loungers merely by the pool free (and already around 8:00 with beach towels blocked) are. The chairs and screens at the beach cost extra ( private operator). read more

    However everything is clean, but the tv could be replaced. Also the rooms are to the corridor very badly soundproofed. The air conditioning ever room and the ceiling fans were a blessing! Unfortunately no wi-fi in the room, but only for a fee ( I think 1 Euro per half hour) in the entrance hall. I have however belongs, the hotel should in November 2012 be renovated.

    Daily cleaning of the rooms included candies, new soap, towels, mini bar-replenishment, gläsertausch and so on All the staff speak English and almost all German. A doctor is nearly daily in the house and in the morning a consultation-hour. The entertainment for kids is very nicely, but rather little. The deputy manager of the hotel every evening for the food present and goes from table to table, around itself after the well-being of each guest to ask.

    The swimming pool water is unfortunately almost only weakness. The water ( August) had felt 26 degrees and tasted like potatoes-chef -water. This appears to be a sweet salt-chlorine-mixture. The reservation of beach chairs is not allowed, but unfortunately is not consistently cared for - at: o'clock are all chairs and sunscreens blocked!

    The beach is right next to the hotel, only by a promenade separated. Also the airport is in 20 to 30 minutes reached by car. Shops are around the hotel. Small, a bit more expensive supermarkets are directly next to it, a Lidl located in about 10 minutes walking distance. The next bus stops with departures after torremolinos center and malaga are also only 5 minutes' walk away. To torremolinos center it is about 45 minutes walk. The location is typical costa del sol. Concrete high-rises and a chair next to the other - but if you know it and preapred for is also endure.

Despite high season a quiet house, although it was fully booked. But by the great promenade and excursions for example malaga or Marbella ( by bus 3.88 Euro per person) were distributed the guests. At the pool and sea there was always chairs and sunscreens. Evenings strolling on the promenade to to the harbor a must! Of course there were the bars, restaurants and the promenade evenings fully, but the atmosphere was simply nicer, as the weather. This hotel you can quiet recommend it. Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms and so on... Gladly anytime again! read more

We had a great vacation in a great hotel! The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. Almost the complete staff speaks - as well as at the reception, as well as in the restaurant - German. The rooms are although a little old fashioned however very clean - with air-conditioning, fan, mini bar and safe. The food was varied and delicious and our table on the terrace we had a great sea view. Every evening there was a entertainment program offered, that classic Flamenco to the performance from westlife was enough. The entertainment program during the day was a ... little sparse. Also lacking extensive sporting activities like for instance Tennis. However could at the beach ( only over the promenade) everyone at sports on its own expense. If you want to know, such as the hotel complex and the rooms looks, can quiet conscience the pictures the tour operator to look at. Also we were amazed - you almost 1:1 with the reality! Yet especially worth mentioning is the great location of the hotel. It is closer to benamaldena ( approximately 500 meters) as the town center torremolinos (circa 3.5 kilometer), but the port from benamaldena ( around 10 minutes away on foot) offers everything, which one wishes oneself - bars, restaurants, discos, lots of small shops for strolling and so on. Altogether you can say - we would come back any time to the Riu natilus drive. read more

Was a wonderful vacation in very well maintained atmosphere. I would directly book the hotel again. The rooms, the pool and the architecture of the hotel ( terrace with a view of the sea) leaves nothing to be desired. The staff are very accommodating and exceedingly friendly. read more

Had a very nice suite on the 5th floor with great views! Everything was very clean - the food was delicious, extensive, the quality was very good and quite varied! The RIU Nautilus is a very well run hotel. The constant presents the hotel manager ensures that a top -service in the dining room, restaurants and kitchen. The hotel and the rooms are really clean. The staff are always helpful and every problem, if there should be, is required. Excellent fine cuisine with many actions around the buffet ensures that additional well-being. The immediate proximity to clean beach and clean promenade ensures that variety. Only point of criticism: unfortunately you had the annoying habit of reservation of sun loungers, already in the early morning hours, despite signs, unable to cope. ... Here, in the interests of all guests, stronger action desirable. read more

The hotel is located directly at the beach, very quiet, and the Riu-hotels is used, with a very large buffet in the morning and also in the evening. The service is quick and very friendly and speaks several languages. The pool is a bit small, but very clean and there are also enough loungers available. Most hotel guests are 50 + and the evening entertainment according to them. Altogether is the complex somewhat older but nevertheless in good condition. read more

It would be a great holiday been, if not the clairaudience our room number 613 would have been. From 5:30 A. M. Was the entertainment or disputes of a couple in the room next door in the way, so one any longer sleep could not. Complaints didn't help either. All steps in the hallway you could hear extremely in the room. Otherwise was in the hotel everything great: super food, staff friendly, pool with beach chairs. The promenade was a dream. read more

The hotel offers for beach- and bathing a the grups appropriate facilities and a appropriate food ( half board). By lots of English guests is the breakfast buffet accordingly, offers but also the continetal customers a plenty of choice. The rooms were clean with a view of the pool, had however a Circa 20 years old TV the teletext not knew and only a few German program and our rooms bargen a problem Next door was the engine room of the elevators and with every movement of any elevator entered a deep thud on. Sleep was therefore only between 2 ... and 6:30 hours to think. Our then in the morning at 9 at the front desk expressed complaint was taken up and we were put off a consultation the front desk with the technology. The confirmed an hour later our presumption of noise. Thereupon put off you again, because the colleague for the reservations of rooms just place is. When we requested later came back it was called, there are no rooms more freely. Meanwhile it was after 12 o'clock and the tour operator ( TUI) worried although cared for the change of hotels, but since it was after 12 was we had to both hotels for the day pay. In short: hotel is recommendable, as long as you don't single room beside the hoistway Bay. read more
