lovely resort with nice beach and beautiful pool, we stayed in sea view beach house which was great, we had 'stay indulgent' packet with was very rich, unfortunately there is no reef around the island, evenings at the Deck bar very relaxing! read more

This week in the Maldives was a disappointment. The beach where you could go snorkeling, was alright, but was the water there rather brackish and you could underwater almost see anything. Appealing the chairs at the beach - here has a designer a price-but for the most uncomfortable couch the world! If you have no lower back pain had on arrival- then determines for the return trip.
The service, as well as the preparation and presentation of the dishes was poorly-also a stomach darmvirus (apparently not for the first time there ), so that not once a piece of toast ... itself could take, what more than annoying!
On the day of departure we were around 6.45 picked up and wanted before (our paid) breakfast, which is rather difficult, as the restaurant only around 6.30 opened-however we would also have a packed lunch satisfied-this possibility but lt reception not!
When then still one morning a heron in the middle in the pool a rat analyzed and ate and under the eyes of the staff - wonder no longer, that many guests bad was! Only when we daraufhinwiesen, was a waiter and expelled the heron and prey. At least was immediately afterwards the water treatment/ umwälzungsanlage turned on.
We come over here surely not more! read more

Very good value for money. However, there is a stage on 'all-inclusive', called ' indulgent' the one with a relatively high premium upgrade can. Should read, it's not everything with 'normal all inclusive' included. Half board or only breakfast is definitely not recommendable, very high flat rates for food and drinks (is however understandable since everything individually with the ship needs to be transported there and back). No pure barefoot island (there was everything: fine sand, korallenfelsen, etc.). Water is super nice, very clean, lots of fish including turtels, eagle rays, kofferfisch, small schwarzspitzenhaie -but for the somewhat more ... professional divers, diving centers/snorkelers probably 'medium' -exciting, for us absolutely okay. To recommend are the beach villas. Here you can hear the sound of the ocean in the bedroom, there is a great open bathroom, with a shower under the starry sky. Furnishing good and tastefully designed. Note: there are many builders in the middle the island, definitely make 8., that far enough from the noisy brumm -generators away! This applies to all bungalows, except the water villas of course. They have another problem: the bath leaders loose ends right over the reef, it is very flat, so that a swim or even jump in absolutely impossible is. Not at all recommendable the garden villas. Beach chairs at the palms and baumwald, the regularly with pesticides violendy durchgeräuchert is. Advantage: mosquito or bugs as well as not any (autan may stay at home). Unfortunately, there was a stomach virus on the island (takes 1.5 days until it survived is). But the staff and the management nothing. I have never seen such clean toilets, so meticulous working cleaning staff and präventimaßnahmen the hygiene seen. It was unpleasant. The doctor the island is very pleasant and very good. Also cost nothing. A point i noticed, were the many asian guests, mainly chinese, which sometimes a bit annoying ( herumspucken, squid soup slurp in the morning, China- groups with ganzkörpertaucheranzug and jacket the pool snorkel people. Otherwise, international clientele.
Fins can be hired free of charge. The excursion program ' turtle reef ' for 140 American Dollar (2 people ) isn't recommendable, if you definitely not only turtles to see wants. Best probably private trip!?
Complete great vacation, if you are staying for a relatively good price in march the winter cold in the sun away from it all! read more

For snorkelers not convenient, since no house reef is available. For snorkelling guests with all-inclusive daily to most of the neighboring islands free stituents, otherwise it cost 70.00 $per person.
The beaches only in one place, where the swimming because of strong current is prohibited, fine sand otherwise very rough sand coupled with many broken off corals. After the tsunami 2004 was huge part of the banks with gabions attached, which a direct access to the sea prevented. read more

We were middle march for 9 nights and had us from star hotel clearly more expected.
First, the pluses:
Our beach mansion was spacious, the bed very comfortable, the air conditioner appropriate, the bathroom was nice. Also that it illy coffee and daily free water, we thought it was good. The terrace was nicely shaded and perfectly adequate.
The waiters was mostly friendly and cares for the guests.
The transfer by boat to and from the island has worked smoothly.
Also when fully booked you always found a shady spot, the island didn't seem crowded.
What we didn't like:
1. ... the food
The food in buffet form in kandooma cafe was moderate and not diverse. Although every day another countries theme had, were during dinner the appetizers and main courses from the nearly identical components. The dessert was daily the same. Every day there was the same dry fish (always mackerel).
Somewhat annoying was, that one at the buffet not could help yourself, at every station there were over-zealous officials with platsikhandschuhen, the even the croutons on the soup gave.
On the 2. day our stay was my husband after the breakfast several times and was the whole day flat. According to our observations it was still several other guests sunday Perhaps that was the reason for the gloves?
2. the beaches, snorkelling
There are 3 beaches on the island with very small bays. Anywhere else because of the strong current not swim. On some days had the water schaumkrönchen (water discharges?).
The chairs at the beach see on the first glance cool out, but are very uncomfortable. Constantly run an employee with a sprühflsche and a broom rum, around the loungers to ' cleaning ' (even if the is not needed) and evades then not more of the body in expectation of a tip.
There is no reef of the snorkeling. There is almost no fish there. The corals are dead. The maldivian dream you can in this regard fully knows abschminken.
There is daily a 45 minute complimentary boat trip for snorkelling, but there is always the same place and the snorkeling in the swarm of excited and completely inexperienced asians (the wave for the obligatory photo on corals is possible) is absolutely no fun.
You can pay book snorkeling trips, but relatively expensive. Scuba diving is available very expensive.
3. evening entertainment
There is the front desk a nice stains with comfy beanbags, on which one chill out could, if, yes if not a chinese/japanese/korean karaoke evening is announced.
One evening there was a quite good local live band. Definitely is before at 11 o'clock conclusion and it was cleared.
4. very high prices
You want in one of the other restaurants, is only 20% of the already paid half board. This is already quite ambitious.
We arrived on the first evening first at 22:30 hours and asked at check in, whether it might be something to eat there. The answer was: no, sorry, the kitchen is already closed. They offered us not even a snack at.
As we for this day the half board paid, but nothing for it had, we asked for, whether they gave us a free upgrade on the restaurant 'the kitchen' soutenant may. The first answer was: you could do anything about it, if the flights so late actually contacted me. Only further demand, if you wanted this' difficult ' case with the management review and in fact we got on the last evening with a free dinner in the 'the kitchen'. You sit very pleasant, however the food has 't bowl us over.
While we were there, there were very lots of asians in the resort, their behaviour at least needed getting used to. There were many families with small (st) children.
All in all, we would not again on this island travel, but rather (still) spend more money and a better quality island. read more

In sum very good. The hotel and the diving school are great run.
Small drawbacks for:
- at the atollaußenseite is no beach
- there is no house reef. There are but at least daily a small, free pool.

A great vacation in a great hotel.
The staff very friendly, the food great (we had all-inclusive)
Everything extremely clean
We had a overwater bungalow with very lots of space, very bright and you could directly from the terrace fish to see. The well-kept beach, with a few meters swim out you could mantas, rays, turtles and small sharks see.
100%further recommendation, we will be back! read more

The hotel is amazing. No 'plattenbau' as in the Turkey, or Spain. It consists of two main buildings as half coconuts look and the front desk with bar and the main restaurant are. On the whole island are 160 small little houses, which in three different classes are divided into. It is very for cleanliness respected, the housekeeping worked perfectly. Wifi is on the whole island free and worked quite well. As nationalities are the guests next to the usual russians, germans, italians and asians represented. What a positive was noticeable, is the fact that all decent behaved. Probably is ... because of the nevertheless quite upscale vacation, not everyone can afford.

I can in all respects with the last report. Only the eating and drinking to all inclusive is concerned, i must express to object all inclusive meant Holiday Inn in other words, that it was only in the main restaurant 'kandooma café ', but not in the nearby 'bokkuraa coffee club' and not in the restaurant 'the kitchen ' without an extra charge food. We ate in the 'the kitchen' fed, which to our delight very classy and a pleasure was (in comparison to scant buffet in the main restaurant 'kandooma café '), but we had to in addition per ... person about 50 $ pay. With the drinks it was such a thing. Here we could only a part of the drinks menu without an extra charge choose. So we had to the mineral water with soft drinks pay, Sprite and Coca Cola was in all inclusive %blank%. These restrictions in all-inclusive are not in my opinion okay, then rather half board book, the additional costs for food and drinks fall definitely not higher than in all-inclusive i do not have Sprite order, if i prefer a non-sweetened carbonated mineral water to drink would like. read more

The hotel is really nice, very clean and tidy. Everything seemed very new and tidy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The resort was beautiful big and spacious. The complex is around the hour cleaned. After a thunderstorm is always quickly for fine catered for.
The average age was more or less fine, with 30 you to the younger however I would say the average on 40-50 estimate.
Half board was for us absolutely sufficient. The breakfast begins at o'clock 30 until o'clock and the dinner from 18 hours until o'clock 30. The buffet is very big and one ... tries for any taste the right to provide. It is clear the beverages there a bit more expensive are, ( Cola, Fanta, beer and so on 5 Dollar, the cheapest bottle of wine 25 Dollar) so we arrived, as a couple, in the 13 days stay on circa 350 Dollar drink prices. Water at every meal free made available.

Great hotel, front desk and care was perfect! Had unfortunately the hotel own island visit with drive to male in the hospital but also since ran off everything smoothly. Otherwise a lot of effort also shortcomings which but also the great leadership of the hotel is!
The only two negative points are chinese guests and the variety in the food and program from the 2. week.
Highly recommend is also the diving school Euro divers.
Otherwise is provided for everything, towels, every day fresh private hotelwasser in the room and the obligatory oranges! And if something is missing, asked the ... roomboy!-)
Thank you to the hotel especially at 2 employees for 2 wonderful weeks full relaxation, hospitality and a great underwater world! We will be back! read more

On the Maldives will hardly something ugly are. The Holiday Inn on kandooma is however through its filigreed embedded in the flat island setting especially from. As two coconuts bevels front desk and restaurant at the Eiland. An absolutely perfect diving station offers 2 times daily dives at the topspots the Maldives. Fishing full, the spot kandooma thila is due to the many sharks a must for every pressluftjünger. The kindness of the hotel employees is never fake, a tip to catch, but comes from the heart and from the tranquility of the islands. A trip is the island of ... locals guraidhoo value, where unfortunately but much ocean creatures ( corals, mussels) venal territories shall be. Better leave. The beach the resort is very clean and was kept clean every day. In a bay you will find with small sharks (white tip) again and here makes snorkeling the 'common' swimmer fun. Fish right on the doorstep - water temperatures the air temperature; towel unnecessary. Just paradisiac standards. The restaurant is excellent. Great delicious and versatile food from all continents. Fantastic, the fish dishes and the selection of desserts. Generally, it is difficult to leave and grief comes on, if you have a speedboat about 40 minutes to the airport island Definitely recommendable - without exception read more

Just breathtakingly beautiful and relaxing! There is nothing to complain about! We had a beach front pants directly at the beach the water villas.
