The hotel we have with two nights, a silvesterflussfahrt to make. The location right next to the Donau it cannot be topped – both the distance to the marinas of the ships, as well as as a starting point local attractions in the town. The atmosphere is very good. Lots of little touches and details are made with love. Exceptionally beautiful is next to the reading room (was decorated for christmas) also the spa area, small but sweet! Here actually only seating was missing (large sunbathing area available). The room (with a view of the Donau) was size wise the ... best and very good furnished-only the bathroom was a bit small and with limited storage space (anyway in our room). The cleanliness was absolutely nothing to be desired and was great. The staff and the hotel management were exceedingly friendly, polite and courteous. You never had the feeling, 'nur' to be their guest. The breakfast buffet was very good, fresh and plentiful. Overall, an ideal place for relaxing and Passau exploration. Passau has this hotel deserved! We will definitely come again! read more

Breakfast really good sorts, unfortunately was the breakfast coffee too watery, then ordered dte.

In the december we were for one day in this hotel and very impressed.
We had a very warm welcome, the atmosphere in the hotel very pleasant. The parking in the garage of the hotel is easily accessible and convenient. Our room was quite large, very clean and on the personal greeting and carefully designed 'bedtime stories' we were very pleased.
The bathroom is in our opinion also large enough, everything is available what you need. Even kettle, mugs, Cappuccino, and tea are available. Although the room was directly next to the lift, what was however not further bad, since ... you can't hear and the lift turned off at night
The location is great, you can right at the Donau go for a stroll, the dreiflüsse -eck is in approximately 800 meters reachable, the hotel is right in of the center and in the city center one is in a few -minute walk.
All of the staff (front desk, breakfast room or maids) were were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is very delicious, warm drinks (coffee, Latte Macchiato, espresso, Cappuccino and 14 different teas) ordered the breakfast service, the rest of the breakfast one gets at the buffet. There is everything possible (from scrambled egg with toast and sausages until vitaljoghurtdrink and various yoghurt with muesli, fruit etc. / rolls with different cheese and sausage, jams)- there is something for everyone there.
In case you with a dog arrive, this costs 6 Euro on the day, on request there are to the room a hundebett, hundespielzeug and a bowl.
We can only recommend the hotel and are by all means come again! read more

A massive room with two french beds, a comfortable sitting area with two chairs, a large flat screen-tv, beautiful bathroom. There was a large breakfast and the staff were very friendly. A beautiful end of my trip (river Passau - Wien - Passau) in the hotel Residenz Passau. read more

Finding of the hotel was a hurdle ( Fritz- schäffer -promenade -especially without number-is a relative concept for a gps ), the first impression a little bit old-fashioned (front desk, lobby), the room however was not only very modern, but also extremely smart and tastefully decorated (we found the time of day on the ceiling great). The bathroom would have a few places to put things good done-it is really cramped, certainly in favor of the fantastic shower. On the upper edge a bed dust can, has however here still not word.
To complain about I, that without my add ... the onlinebuchen the spa area included was, which I whilst checking out the view on the bill for the first time experienced.
Apart from that we had a nice stay and would return. read more

It was a very nice and pleasant stay in the Hotel Residenz respectively Passau.
The breakfast buffet has a wide selection. Everything freshly and very good.
The staff was very friendly, willing to help and courteous.
The only thing which was a bit uncomfortable, the room was very warm. You could

Assessment is based on booking a suite, room value for money is very good, spacious comfortable clean, a pleasant surprise for a business trip in the far south-eastern part of germany, location terrific, parking a bit of a problem, had large luck one of the four parking lot in front of the hotel to get, location wonderful right at the Donau, right in the center so fußlaufig everything near, hotel must in the publicbereichen in need of freshening, too dark, too stuffy, breakfast well arranged but fresh and no packware, you get the holiday mood (target audience is certainly tourists) read more

The Hotel Residenz is located on the Danube side Passau, in the middle of the old town, near the cathedral.
It is very well maintained and lovely. The owners is itself-and Dackeldame Klara - at the front desk and is very helpful. So my car from the owner even in the parking garage dangers, as this is a bit complicated entrance -so bad but it was not at all - nevertheless a nice service.
We had the junior suite - a dream! High above the roofs Passau the large roof terrace with Deckchair and table and chairs and plants. The ... view of Donau and the other banks to Veste house of Lords was gigantic. The room even very spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom however a bit small, but with adventure shower. Everything was excellent! The breakfast was fine, however the staff were somewhat overburdened, because we outside wanted to eat breakfast (it was before rained).

With only 2 days stay one cannot say much, we were passing through to Wien.
The breakfast buffet was reasonable, the coffee tasted, the room nice large and clean with a beautiful large bathroom. We were on ' trip to the silver wedding ' and I had this when booking with specified ( reason the trip)-as I would have liked a small attention in the morning from from the hotel desired (small bottle of sparkling wine on the breakfast table, for example), but you can probably not really advance setting, the a booking so carefully read. read more
