The dreams Tulum is a rather resources -small complex (in comparison to the huge complexes the palladium /Barcelo etc. Groups) and the hacienda style. Mostly is 2 storey building with a beautiful courtyard (in the rear part the hotel) and 3 story buildings in the front area. The complex itself is very well maintained, clean and tidy-of of the lobby until to the beach everything perfectly maintained! We had booked all inclusive, and we found it especially great that you this hotel no wristbands have to carry them, because this means all-inclusive really all-inclusive! We visited the complex beginning february ..., and found especially north americans, mexican, french and russians before! (hardly german, austrian or swiss) A word about the russian guests: since the russian äroflot 3 times per week directly by Moskau to Cancun fly, is this group very, very strong in the grow, but not unpleasant, since there were mostly families with children/couples is. So don't be put off, there is no case conditions as in turkish all-inclusive hotels ☺ read more

We had booked the cheapest room categorie, and thereby very well drove! Our room was in the rear part of the hotel, walk to the beach/restaurants less than 5 minutes, in a 2 story building with beautiful inner court with wells and small garden! The buildings were in hacienda style, and add in the area a! We would again and again this room type book, there it with us in the back was very quiet, and you the entertainment front at the pool nothing noticed. The more expensive rooms are in front of of the hotel (direction beach), partly directly at the animation pool and where the evening shows are held, it can very nice noisy! There were in the more expensive rooms usually whole bar, which of course accordingly loud. Our room was big, with small anteroom, bathroom with double sinks, bedroom with large double bed, couch and coffee table, and balcony with chairs/hammock. Furthermore, there was a flat screen, iPod Docking-Station, iron, coffee maker, etc. Our room was modern and clean, here there is nothing to complain about!

The complex has a buffet restaurant (world café) and 7 à la carte restaurant (u. a italian, french, asian cuisine) and several bars. We have some of the à la carte restaurant try it, and found all this the quality and taste of the food was very good. You have to à la carte restaurant didn't have to reserve, but can simply get in eat out, what one is straight. But one should remember, that at the main meal time and if the hotel is booked, so wait sometimes may arise. Our longest waiting period amounted to about 1.5 hours, the we were at the bar without any problems to have driven out, only that you warned is. The food in the à-la-carte restaurant is a long history and takes about 1.5-2 hours, as starter, soup, main dish, dessert, so this for families with small kids not so recommendable is. Not rarely have we children seen, the during the meal in sitting asleep are ☺ Otherwise, the à la carte restaurant very nice furnished, and provide a great atmosphere! Lunch we were mostly in the mexican, the tacos, fajitas and nachos are very delicious! The buffet we only for breakfast use it, that was very good, also the mexican cafe try-tasted delicious! Tip: at coco café there is the whole day café/shakes and ice cream, and dounts, muffins etc.

We have never had such a friendly and motivated staff, everyone from the restaurant chef to the cleaning lady always a nice 'hola' ready. You feel welcome, and everywhere quickly and professional bedient, someone who had something to complain about can find is your own fault! As well as one into the forest in-calls... :-) Of course we also tip given, that also thankfully accepted, with or without tips we could but no difference in the service/friendliness! It was always all great, in this respect. Spanish is spoken everywhere, but also with english knowledge one gets along very well, german speaks here nobody. (which one in Mexico also nobody can expect) The cleaning of the rooms was mostly only between 13 and 16 o'clock, which we personally not a problem had, since we were mostly to 17 o'clock on the way or at the beach were. Our maid was great, the floor was wiped every day, towels were changed every day (if needed)

There are two pools, a lap pool and a pool at the whole day loudly the entertainment takes place. But we always the beach preferred! This is super nice and absolutely know, as one would imagine it to be - Carribean like pur! What many a time is being criticized, is that it only 2 places specifies which you into the water can (otherwise rocky) we found this not disturbing still cramped. The two bodies are wide enough, and, although the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we were almost always alone in the water. (most people chargeth it to the pool) on the rocks: it is a coral reef on the supposedly great snorkeling is to be able, so snorkeling equipment not forget! (unfortunately there was during our 4-day stay was always a strong wind, so that snorkeling because of the red flag was not allowed) Here you have no chairs reserve, there were enough for everyone, as well as shade - you always find something. There are plenty of umbrellas, and hochgewachsene shade trees! What we also found great: there are at the beach a beverage service, that means drinks are brought to your beach chair! We are without children icy, but many a time the kids club at the beach met, and the sah really great from! With the kids was really done much, and all seemed to have fun!

The hotel is located on the mex307 and is with a rental car in about 1.5 hours easily accessible. (by bus/shuttle it takes after presentation to other traveler around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how lots of hotels to be started) Right and left from the hotel there is nothing, except beach and palm trees so that extensive walks along the beach super is possible! So if you want to party/evening entertainment is, here will not become lucky, because from 23 hours is barely busy! The place Tulum is located approximately 10 minutes away, there were numerous shopping possibilities (also large supermarkets, banks for changing money, etc.) To Playa del Carmen it was about 35 minutes away, where there is everything the tourist heart desires. Many (evening) maintenance possibilities, at the of shops/souvenir shops lined shopping street. Because we a rental car had, we didn't public transportation use, transfer by collectivo (shared taxi) but good.
