A wonderful, lovingly by the owners run hotel. You could feel, this is, noggins to be. The building has a great historic atmosphere and lots of flair. On foot one can into Kötschachtal in the national park, the Alpine or to the center from Bad Gastein walking. Also spa baths are offered, simply wonderful. read more

A hotel with incredible flair. The attention to detail the interior is incomparable impressive. The location is very good and the view from the hotel breathtaking. The team was very friendly and very flexible with our special requests. We had our 12 -headed Young travel group ( age 26-36 ) felt really good and will this hotel at our next trip again. read more

We stayed in the villa Excelsior a few wonderful days spent; it all simply came together: the pleasant type of owner, the service, the room, the view, the location ( great view, nice and quiet at the Spazierpromenade, but nevertheless close to the center), the food, the atmosphere... The Skitaxiservice from the hotel was a very pleasant matter, as well as the comfortable Smoker bar. Bad Gastein with its special charm very much and the villa Excelsior this' Gastein -feeling' perfectly supplements. read more

Very stylish atmosphere with authentic decor. The included half board is very delicious, there is always a vegetarian version to choose from. In the Villa you can well guess, 100 to 200 at the beautiful and influential on cure went. The service is excellent and the overall ambience is simple and is not affected. The town of Bad Gastein I was not altogether convinced, the Villa Excelsior but all the more! read more
